So a patient's word counts for nothing, if your title is Dr you can falsify patient records and your employer will support you. I find this so insane, Veronica's claim doesn't sound plausible, doesnt have a ring of truth and is just plain unbelievable. She and the hospital know they are putting my health at risk by denying me the care to which I am entitled. I wouldnt care if I wasnt forced to fund this charade; but we pay the salaries of the people who literally hate us and want us dead.

Sat in the Emergency/Urgent care waiting area for four hours before I was told there is no treatment for my symptoms and just sent home. I told the receptionist I was there because I thought I had the flu. I told the healthcare professional that took my temperature and blood pressure that I was there because I thought I had the flu. Neither of them told me that they don't treat my symptoms. It wasn't until I saw a doctor after four hours of waiting that I was told there is nothing to be done about the flu. The doctor was rude, too. I told him I didn't go to class because I didn't want to get anyone sick. He said, "So you came here to get the doctor sick?" THE DOCTOR IS WHO YOU SEE WHEN YOU ARE SICK. THAT IS YOUR JOB. He asked what I ate that day and the judged what I had to eat that day, "It's pretty odd to be eating that" when I'm feeling this way (Ok, so I'll starve myself. Oh wait, already did that in the waiting room). I left with nothing to help me feel better and humiliated enough to want to kill myself :)

It should read "our rude, patronising and belittling practise....."!! Someone needs to shake them up and realise they are there to provide a helpful service to the very people who contribute to funding the NHS and creating the jobs they are employed (poorly) to do. I am a newly diagnosed diabetic and it is fair to say that I am struggling in finding my way through this life adjustment. A number of times I have been scoffed at when asking them questions about how things are normally done. one example of many: "what do I do about disposing of my sharps bin?" to be responded "look after it yourself, what makes you think we should do that for you?" It is a shame because the Docs are very friendly and helpful - although a little disconcerting when I went to them with a broken insulin pen to be told that they had no idea what to do, I probably knew more about it then they did ..... I rarely take the time to write such reports, but feel these receptionists really are in the wrong profession. I hear "Grumpy Old Women" is casting in the west end - possibly a more fitting career move??

My GP is located here and I couldn't be happier with the service. They're great about fitting in…read morelast minute appointments and are wonderfully kind both on the phone and in person. The doctors I've seen here have been professional and thorough. Best of all, it's right down the street from my favourite place for breakfast, so taking a morning off for a doctor's visit becomes more of a treat than a chore.

It was very distressing for them to see their tiny baby so unwell and having to be subjected to blood tests and drips, at such a tender age. Happily she is now safely back at home; the situation was made easier for them because of the great care they received - they couldn't speak highly enough about the excellent staff who seemed to understand, and anticipate, everything they were going through. It's tough when hospitals in the UK get such bad press resulting in patients and visitors feeling even more anxious about levels of service or potentially worrying infections. So it's worth giving credit when one has a good experience. When I visited here, although I found it to be quite old-fashioned and had quite a long wait, the staff were pleasant and I was quite impressed (although not necessarily a guaranteed solution) at the obligatory gel hand-cleaning dispensers that had to be used before setting-foot beyond reception. I was happy and relieved to hear such heart-warming comments from my neighbours during such a distressing time.

Dr Dong Li should not be allowed to see patients without a senior doctor and it should not matter how busy everyone at the hospital is. He is intellectually not equipped to hold a consultation with a patient. Lacks emotional intelligence also. "My love" is not how to address a patient in a conversation. I have left the Hospital outraged about his dismissive from of advising me as a patient, not to forget to mention that he gave me a cancer scare. Before mis-diagnosing a fibroid as cancer... might be worth asking the patient if she has experience undesired, rapid weight loss.?! I regret having seen him and can say for sure, my therapy plan or outcome would have been different, have I seen a different doctor.

It was as you would expect of an A&E room I guess extremely dramatic. I felt like I was in a soap. It was midnight before friend was seen to but the staff were quite nice to her when they did see her and wrote her a prescription. I had almost fallen asleep before she came out.

Their response time to the buzzer was excellent. My friend insisted I take a look at their exhaustive food menu. Much more variety than a lot of other hospitals that I have seen. I checked in at the front desk and discussed my dodgy knee with them and was promptly added to the queue. I was told that I was 7th, and my turn soon arrived. The doctor I saw was incredibly helpful and showed great empathy for my injury. She didn't dismiss it and say "just rest, you'll me reet" like some doctors do. She referred me for an MRI at fracture clinic on Wednesday and sent me on my way with some extra tall crutches! They have signs around the hospital asking if patients would recommend them to our friends and family? I certainly would!
