Hmmm so many bad reviews. I'll be completely honest. I did not utilize this firms services. I live…read morein California but I wanted to help my family with a probate issue. I had a lot of basic questions about how to get the ball rolling and I felt that the person I spoke to was very responsive, respectful and helpful. In my experience the best way to see if you will have a good experience here is to go through the reviews and see if people who needed the same legal help as you got great service or not and go from there (for example, divorce help terrible, probate help great - just like you wouldn't go to a breast augmentation expert for your rhinoplasty)

I had no property to divide, no children, no retirement, etc. to split hairs over. David Hunt was my representative, and I retained him for $5,000 up front. My final bill was almost $10,000 and you would think for even a price that large he would file everything accurately? No. My divorce decree, that he prepared, was so vague that my ex was able to take me back to court and capitalize on his inability to serve the person he was representing. I had to hire ANOTHER attorney, to fight the language that HE used in the decree because the other side took advantage of it. This law firm only cares about them getting paid. They do not care about representing their clients. Their claims of understanding UCMJ law were false, I had to educate Mr. Hunt the entire time on the military process. When people are going through serious life events, such as a divorce, where emotions and tensions are high, the expectation is that the attorney you hire maintains the status quo, is an advisor, and can help you navigate the difficult time. Instead, Mr. Hunt was ill-prepared, showed a lack of attention to detail in terms of how his client was being represented, and he not only failed me as a client, but he also created additional unnecessary legal battles and stress for me, that could've been mitigated if he did his job correctly. If you are an active-duty military member or looking at this law firm for assistance with anything military related, I would look elsewhere. Pay attention to the bad reviews and save yourself money.

Herman answered himself (a prayer answered after so many receptionists and answering services!) He took over an hour with me, let me explain the whole scenario, and even after deciding this probate litigation case was too complex for him at this time, continued looking up info and giving me more advice. He referred me to another attorney, who he said I would do well to work with. He was so empathetic, knowledgeable and genuinely tried to help me, I had to take the time to write this review. Later on, he sent me an email consolidating everything we spoke about so I would have it condensed to provide to my legal counsel. All I can say is Wow! If you need an estate attorney, please call Herman 1st, after contacting so many, he was the only one who stood out for his empathy and willingness to help. Even though other firms also gave me referrals which I called and didnt have fruitful experiences with, I called Herman's referral and had exactly the same vibe; a straightforward person with integrity. I've signed with him and feel that my prayers have been answered. I wanted to make sure to post this so others would know and not have to waste the time and energy I did. CALL MR. While on honeymoon celebrating our new marriage, my wife and I traveled to Utah and stayed at a…read moreresort in southern Utah. Unfortunately, during our stay we were seriously burned in an over-chlorinated spa pool. I suffered damage to my legs, groin region and sinuses. My wife suffered damage to her legs. As a PhD scientist with prior chlorine disinfectant knowledge, I firmly believed that a very large amount of chlorine had been added to the spa pool. The resort was unsympathetic, and since I had provided pictures of my injuries to my legs and groin region to document the damage, the general manager of the resort filed a police report claiming I had provided pornographic pictures to the female front desk manager (who he claimed was a minor). Apparently, this general manager thought he could avoid responsibility as he threatened to have legal action filed against me and, if he had succeeded, place me on a sex-defender database. A number of law firms evaluated the situation yet declined to agree to take the case. I was not surprised since as a PhD scientist I realized how difficult it is to litigate chemical exposure situations. However, Craig Swapp and Associates in Salt Lake City, Utah evaluated the situation and agreed to represent my wife and I in this matter. As I began to provide them with the details of the situation, I realized that I was interacting with a first-class organization. Attorney Brad L. Anderson and his assistant Amanda Klinkosh were assigned to the case. Brad and Amanda were very helpful as they asked questions, collected/reviewed my contemporary notes and pictures about the injury. My phone calls to Amanda were always answered, or, if I left a message, Amanda got me a quick reply by phone or text message. I could always communicate with Amanda by phone, text, email or phone messages. Brad was always willing to make himself available when it was deemed necessary to talk in person. On two separate occasions, while my wife and I were travelling through Utah, Amanda met with us on the spur of the moment to discuss our case. I could tell that Amanda was very knowledgeable with injury law and legal proceedings. I am very pleased with the representation I received from Brad Anderson, his assistant Amanda Klinkosh and the staff at Craig Swapp & Associates. As a result of Brad's negotiation skills, we settled this case out of court. I am pleased with the settlement amount I received. It is my pleasure to recommend without hesitation Brad Anderson, Amanda Klinkosh and Craig Swapp & Associates. If I should ever need legal representation in the future, I will certainly seek out Craig Swapp and Associates at anyone of their locations.

They settled my case for probably $25,000-$50,000 what I should have gotten. I have permanent hearing loss and frequent bouts of vertigo from my injury and they did the bare minimum. I never even spoke with the actual attorney-only the paralegal assigned to my case. They are a big shop who will do the bare minimum on 90% of their cases and dedicate their full force for the 10% that will make them hundreds of thousands of dollars. If you have a small/medium suit, find other representation.
