We started attending when living in the area temporarily while our home was being renovated and never left, even though it's a long ride from our home. I babysit my 2 year old grand nephew on Sundays and he attends bridge kids. At first my niece was nervous, she's a single mom and protective. One visit to bridge kids and that child can't wait for next week. I appreciate the investment Bridge places in their children's ministry and have experienced first hand what a 2 year old can learn and how what he's learning has impacted his life. He talks about Jesus and has made friends. There truly is the exact right space for every person, adult, college, high school, grade school and little ones at this church.

I am very Disappointed in the Church. My Family has been members of the church for well over 50…read moreyears. My parents sent 6 children to school there. Mom used to volunteer with the funeral lunches with making food, serving and assisting with clean up. She was part of the women's club she was very much involved in the church all of these years. Mom would go to mass daily. My mother will soon be 95 years old and she had been homebound for several years and was unable to go to church. When she was able to go to church it was always 7 am mass and she sat in the front pue. My disappointment was when I had called to the Rectory to ask if someone could please come to my mother's home to bless her and give her communion. The response was "Oh I'm sorry e don't do that anymore. My mother hasn't been able to attend church for almost 10 years now and no one from St. Raymonds even tried to reach out to see if she needed anything or if she was even still alive. Sad that a parishioner for over 50 years and no one remembers. The funny thing is they keep sending envelopes for the Sunday collections and also any other donations they need. Very Sad that they know how to get the donation envelopes to her and she doesn't even live in Illinois anymore. Maybe St Raymonds church needs to learn the true meaning of a Christian and practice what they preach,

I wish it weren't that way, because I feel like a lot of churches have lost sight of just loving on people like Jesus did, but Journey does it in a genuine and natural way and it really speaks volumes on what is being taught there. Journey welcomes everyone and truly demonstrates the love of Christ through their actions. The pastors are living examples of the way to live out a life that fully encompassing the love of Christ. I've attended The Orchard with my family for the past 20 years, and have found it to be a solid bible believing church. The senior pastor, Colin Smith, is a humble man and a faithful preacher who can be heard on 90.1 Moody radio. The Orchard is about roots, life, and fruit. They aim to help people dig deeper roots down into God's Word, share the life of Christ with others, and bear fruit in ministry. The church has been a blessing to me, my family, and to many others. You will NOT hear prosperity gospel, CRT, pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ+ lifestyles, or any other heretical things taught as "truth" because all those things are in opposition with God's order. These people know God, trust him, which leads them to obey him. They are NOT and will never be silent witnesses, BUT will fight and stand on the firm foundation of Christ for the sake that people may turn to God and repent to be reconciled with God through the perfect sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and have a personal relationship with him.
