This location is the best for finding your right size in Christian Louboutin shoes. In the states the Sales Rep try to push anything on you including the wrong size. I can range from a 36.5, 37, 37.5 and sometimes an 38 depending on whether it's open toe, boot, or pump. I tell Lisa the shoes, I want and she can tell me which size, I need to go up or down in even without me trying on the shoe. Amazing! I wish, she lived in the states. All the Reps knowledgeable and the service is grade A. It's best to remember your shoe stylist to prevent from waiting in line. I always go to Lisa and after being gone for a year (with no visits) upon my arrival on 10/30/17, she remembered me and even the shoes I purchased on 11/23/16 last year. Also remember to keep your Sales Rep cell number handy to request shoe sizes and designs before arrival using WhatsApp. This way your stylist can have the shoes ready on your visit if it's not located at the store they can order it. Visited this location in April 2018 and there was no line at all to enter, although it was a bit busy inside. We browsed for a while and I was pretty sure I wasn't going to purchase anything to add to my collection but then I spotted a pair of dusty rose suede Anjalina's and that changed that. Waited about 10 minutes before I was helped by a tall, handsome, bearded fellow whose name I can't recall. He was friendly and helpful, and spoke perfect English. He brought my two requested sizes quickly and we chatted for a bit about his visits to San Francisco and Las Vegas and how I was enjoying Paris so far. Once I decided to purchase he escorted us downstairs where they finished up the transaction and the necessary VAT paperwork. All very smooth. By and large, the salespeople here are helpful and pleasant, they're just very busy. On the day we were there, there was one female customer who was being an snippy, entitled ass and it only served to make her look bad. Don't be that woman. I'd learned in Prague that a pair of boots I'd been seeking were a limited edition style & only available in Paris so Mr & I made Loubbie one of our first stops when we arrived in the City The only salesperson available didn't speak much English & my French was even more pathetic than I remembered but we were able to get our points across & it was a fun challenge to try to find the right words Not having the exact size I needed in my boots, she offered to get the next size down & Mr & I agreed to come back the following day. The worst store experience of all CL boutiques in Paris. Total disregard of customers' time and disrespectful of store hours. Yesterday I was sent over to the boutique by the CL store inside Printemps, who didn't have my size and called the Faubourg shop to hold mine as they had stock. When I arrived to the shop, after getting out of my cab, there was a small line of about 10 clients. It was 6:05 pm. There was a surly security guard, who promptly told me the store was closed. Mind you, the store closes at 7 pm. He then rudely and angrily turned his back towards me and tried to physically block my entrance to the short line. After I explained to him that another CL store sent me there, and that I would just make a quick purchase as I knew exactly what I wanted, he still said dismissively it was "pas possible". I spoke to him in English but I speak French as well, so can hear him bad mouthing me and the other customers who were also behind me that wanted to go in. To make matters worse, at 6:15 pm, (a full 45 minutes before store closing), he ushered the few people ahead of me into the store. Slammed the door and stood in front of it like a bouncer in a club. Disgusting and appalling! Then the salespeople inside the empty store gave the people bottles of water and looked at us outside with disdain. I don't think I have ever seen such disrespectful behavior and such ego from a security guard in all my life. The six other customers outside with me consistently asked for the manager to come out, but the security guard and salespeople who came outside refused to do so. There was still a good 30+ minutes left until 7 pm. Only one person was let in, a woman who spoke French to the nasty security guard and flashed him cash from her bag. She was let in with her husband and child, although she was way behind us in line. Disgusted I left and shopped the other boutiques still open until 7 pm on St. Honore, a great one being Saint Laurent. This CL store gave me a totally bad experience that will NEVER be repeated. Do not waste your time going to this store, the others in Paris actually know how to service clients and offer a real luxury experience. Don't support brands who treat clients as if they have to beg or be insulted to shop and spend their money. Shame on you Christian Louboutin and your amateur staff. read more

This is Christian Louboutin's original boutique in Paris. They have 4 other ones, but this store has the largest & best selection. Loved the Ferris wheel of CL's adorning the main floor. Please note that they close the line early. I went to three stores today, the main boutique is closed for business until Monday, the second one i tracked down closed until Sept. I arrived prior to closing time at this store (third time was not the charm) and they had closed the line already and not letting anyone else in. I do not think its ok, especially if you are traveling from so far away. They redirected me to the shops at printemps. I did find a shoe i loved there, but overall selection in my size was limited. Advice: - call ahead and make sure the store is open. - if you make it too close to closing time they may not let you in depending on length of line, and they do not care how far youve traveled. read more

I had heard rumors that the store had a two hour line wait just to get inside so I was expecting to wait in line, even though I came here on a Wednesday afternoon. Surprisingly, there were only about six people in front of us so we knew that we would get in right away. Wrong. They were only letting two people in at a time every 10 minutes or so. Although we didn't wait longer than 30 minutes, it was aggravating that we had to stand outside in the heat when the store was not very populated. Nevertheless, the inside of the store was beautiful. The carousel with the glitter shoes was my favorite part. Unfortunately, they didn't have too many shoe options. For example, the classic black or beige patent leather pumps were not available. It was difficult to find things in my size (6.5) or in a popular color (many shoes were available in pink or purple.) I did make a purchase but would have made a much larger purchase if they had more options or if they had more things in my size. I am very happy with the sales associate that assisted me (a petite blonde lady who's name I didn't get), as she was quick and friendly I did make recommendations that made sense. She tried her best to find me shoes close to the ones that I asked for, and she knew the store's inventory well, which saved us time. I will be back here again because the prices are lower than what you would pay in the United States. I hope they have more inventory when I return! The tall brunette who checked me out was knowledgeable in the VAT refund process and also let me know what other stores and even what other countries had the shoes that I was looking for in my size. This was pretty helpful since most Americans travel around Europe and CL has shoe store in all of the popular touristy places. For those of you who do not wait in line to get in, the trick is to go during off-peak hours, so avoid the weekends and evenings. I didn't know what to expect here based on some of the reviews. Also fact that any other time I have bought a pair of CL shoes, at a boutique or a place that carries them, I have never had to wait in a line to enter the store. Bad news is, it was a very hot July early afternoon, good news is my wait was less than 15 minutes. I understand why they control the crowd. Many people are just here to look or perhaps take pics (which they seriously discouraged) and the place is small even with the second story. (sidebar info) There are only 2 boutiques in Paris and of course Paris is where it all began! I knew I was leaving there with a pair of CL's and I also had it narrowed down, and they both were considered 'classics' so I wasn't too worried that they wouldn't have at least one of them. You are permitted in and then you sit or stand in another small line. Heads up here, don't think you can walk over and look closely at the shoes on display on the first floor while waiting in this line. I tried and was promptly told to get back in line. Ok, that annoyed me, but not enough to leave. Now for the good stuff. Once it's your turn, the sales rep walks down the stairs and escorts you up. Then you browse around and tell them what you want. Mine was pretty easy, she got the shoes for me, I tried them on and was happy. She walked me downstairs and then you (likely) wait again to cash out. At that point no one said anything when I looked at the shoes on display on the main floor. I cashed out and left with my lovely red soles in my bag. It was a good experience for me. I was on a mission. I have a granddaughter who turned 2 in October and I knew her parents were going to do a photoshoot. I decided to buy another pair of CL so she could do some shots in her MiMi's brand new CL that were bought from the boutique in Paris! I brought them home bag, box and all and then never wore them until after her photoshoot, which was 2 months after we returned! Self control much? This store has got the system all figured out. I'm usually never one to stand in line to enter a store the line moved pretty quickly and here's what I observed on how the line works. To enhance the customer service experience, each person/couple/family that enter will have a dedicated sales associate. For example, if there are 10 sales associates working at that given time, they will make sure that each person/couple/family inside the store will have the attention of a sales associate. This is a fantastic idea of creating a great customer service experience so that no customer will feel like like there's no available sales associate to help them when they might be busy with other customers. The associates are not intrusive either. We walked in and took our time to browse. Our dedicated sales associate was not at all intrusive and in fact I didn't even notice her existence until I was ready to ask for shoes in my size and I looked up and saw her at the corner in standby mode in case I decide to asked for some shoe sizes. I do not like it when a sales associate hovers over me when I browse and I clearly did not feel uncomfortable browsing here. You can take your time to browse at this store until you're ready to try on some sizes or have questions. If you don't see a particular design at this store, be sure to ask your sales associate. First, I tried on a pair of pumps but wasn't quite feeling it because it wasn't exactly the style that I was looking for. So she said that the other store might have something that I'm looking for and asked if I'd like to try them. She just had to check if that store had it in my size and she had that pair of pumps brought over to this store. I waited for only 5 mins or so for that pair to be brought over to this store, slipped into the pumps, and fell in love with it. Well what's to love of the infamous red soles shoe brand? The shoes are not made for comfort. When you arrive the security tells you to take the line and wait so that you can be helped personally. I loved that I knew what I wanted to see and try on so when it was my turn I told my sales person and they went quickly to get my shoes in the size I requested. The store is up a flight of stairs and there are more shoes to see and plenty of chairs and mirrors for you to walk around in the shoe to make sure it is comfortable. I would say that you should keep the shoe on for at least five minutes before buying To make sure you can stand that long in them. My associate have me his card and said to call him if I wanted to return to see other styles and that he would help me and that I wouldn't have to wait in line again. I thought they was nice and appreciated his tips on finding a more comfortable shoe option. Can't wait to go back. Price wise the shoes I bought would have costs me $700 including tax but I paid about $400 in Paris for the same shoes. read more
