Lord knows God is sitting in Heaven with a green accounting hat making sure you paid your 10%. She even took classes at this church. A couple years back her mother passed away and she asked the church to allow her to do a service and the repast as they usually do for members. The church sent some pastor over on a Friday night. He told my wife they would have to determine if she was a member and that would take until Tuesday to figure out. (Even though I THINK the church is open on Sunday). Her family was flying in on Wednesday, so she was really pressed for time. She ended up doing the service and repast at her cousin's church. This church cashed my wife's checks for 20 plus years but when the time came that my wife needed the comfort of her home church these devils somehow couldn't figure out if she was a member. Lucky for that demon, I wasn't home at the time because I'd have told him off and maybe more. You're not going to find salvation at this church. They just want to make sure pastor Butler can put gas in his yacht and enjoy his mansions. They ain't helping anyone but themselves.

Last Sunday I came with my boyfriend and actually had the opportunity to hear a sermon. This church is definitely different from my home church, in that it is small and very close knit. I feel as if this is one of those churches were everyone knows who you are. So of course everyone kept looking my way to see who I was. Overall, I had a good time and walked away feeling like I learned something. I would definitely recommend if you are into a close-knit church, although the facility itself is actually very large.

Todd usually does the sermons, occasionally they have outside pastors (which can be great or ... ehhhh). There are two reasons I love this church. #1 - the people are really friendly. Everyone is. I have to be outgoing for my job so on my personal time I usually hide. But at this church the people are so nice, there is no hiding. #2 - there is lots of stuff to do, regardless of age/circumstance. I happen to have kids. There is stuff to do. I am a mom/woman. There is stuff to do. If I was a single guy...there would be stuff to do. And everyone is friendly so going to a new event isn't awkward. I love this church. I moved out for a little while because of a few reasons (including construction on Middlebelt) and I missed coming tremendously. My kids call it the church with puppets and donuts, I call it home.

Pastor Robby and his entire family are some of the most sincere down to earth people I have ever met and he will make sure you feel welcomed. Want to start of by saying the church is very welcoming and kind to all who are visiting, If you…read morehave kids It is a great place to take them since they also have sunday school for Kids from k-12. The worship consisted of traditional hymn-style songs with a reverent and structured tone. The music created a reflective atmosphere that encouraged congregational participation and focus on biblical truths. During my time the sermon was about rediscovering Jesus's true identity and rekindle your relationship with the Good News of Christ. The Pastor shared his own journey of progressing away from a rewards-and-punishments type of thinking towards understanding God's love at a deeper level than he had before. The pastor explained that God's love gives you and I salvation and hope for everyone on this planet, that we are God's beloved children and he also used Matt. 13:31-32 to help us see how Jesus' kingdom continues to grow and develop all over the Earth. One area of the sermon that I found to be of disagreement or of Biblical inaccuracy was how the pastor viewed the Bible at times as a political document rather than as a Christ-centered document; however, the overall message was clearly about Christ.
