This location has been here forever, I have been coming here for at least 15 years personally. Virginia, the owner, always comes in with excellent, fair prices. When shopping for a frame that complements your artwork selecting the right frame is in an art in itself. Virginia has always had an excellent eye for picking out a few that work so you can make a final selection. If you have experience framing large paintings and prints you're probably familiar with the quality and price variance in this niche market. Take my word I have shopped around several times and I always wind up right back here where I started at Galaxy. I just dropped off a very large, fully crew signed Star Trek the Next-Generation print as can be seen in the photographs I posted. The previous owner had it framed in a black Plastic, modern frame that had warped over the last 10 years and cracked in a few places. I will post a photo of my new, beautiful gold and black frame that is being installed at the end of the week once the job is completed for a before and after comparison. What a great local business! Such a fun day!…read more First off, it was very easy to find street parking right in front of (and across the street) from the place. Unfortunately it is located on the second (or maybe third) floor and there are quite a few stairs you must take to get up there. We had a few older women in our group and they did make it up, however, it is something to note. This is actually an art gallery so there are great pieces of art throughout the entire place. You can rent the space for your own private parties. Yesterday was so much fun! It was ladies day out and a birthday party with 10 of us. Teresa and Jen were amazing - so friendly and they couldn't be more helpful taking their time helping us each step of the way to a beautiful painting. We brought our own food and beverages (they supplied coffee and milk!) and everything else was provided for us - the canvases, paint, paintbrushes, smocks, etc, etc. So many fun paintings to choose from. I was worried ours would be too difficult but in the end it came out amazing (see pictures). Definitely want to come back again with a bunch of friends.

I had two cute little paintings I did on the cardboard inserts of something or other and decided I…read morewas kind of proud of them and wanted them framed! They were squares, and normally (and admittedly) I'd just get some frames off of amazon for ~$50 but I couldn't find any that I liked in the dimensions that I needed. So I sucked it up and took them to Right Angle. I worked with the owner who was SO helpful and took all of the time in the world to make sure I was getting frames that both compliment each painting as well as each other, in case I wanted to hang them together one day. We ended up with two real cute end products! They make me even more proud of my paintings. While the price is up there, that is just all custom framing and I am learning that. Both pieces, each 11"x11", came out to around $300. Again, these were painted on literal cardboard garbage, so that was hard to justify. But honestly, in these beautiful new frames with their double layers of matting, you can't tell. They look expensive and I love seeing them on my walls. Both pieces took about a month, but I assured her I was in no rush to get them back by any deadline. With the amount of attention to detail that goes into each piece and the quality of customer care, you can't go wrong bringing your pieces here. No matter what they are, they'll be treated like priceless works of art worthy of beautiful frames! Thank you so much Right Angle!
