One of the things I appreciate most is that I never feel awkward seeing different stylists. No one makes me feel like I'm "cheating," which takes all the pressure off and lets me book with whoever fits my schedule. And speaking of schedule... I almost always call last‑minute, and they consistently do their best to fit me in. Catching a "Happy Hour" appointment is an extra bonus, it makes both me and my wallet happy, and it gives me a chance to treat myself to a gloss or something special. The Michael Robert Salon and Spa is a high quality salon with professional and friendly staff who deliver their services with a smile. From the moment you walk in the salon you can sense the high quality environment. Never at a hair salon have I been able to see color booklets to show how the base color and highlight will look together. The salon is clean and really cute, and the stylist was super personable and easy to talk to, and really seemed to understand what I was looking for. I have frizzy/curly hair and its sometimes a challenge for stylists to blow out but she did a great job I was super impressed. I have to say that this is by far the BEST hair color I've ever had!!!!! She was helpful in deciding the best shade of "chocolate brown" for my skin tone which I fully appreciated (I want to know what will look right, of course!), and which color highlight would give the right pop of color I was looking for. She even suggested angles to make it look better. Every single product used in my hair smelled DELIGHTFUL too and not chemical-ly/stinky. I will absolutely be back and referring family members and friends to this salon! I highly recommend :)

Mirella is not only "the owner" but also an expert in the beauty field as she not only had the knowledge of the latest trends with recommended techniques but most importantly she utilized her skills and customized them to your personal needs. I wanted to go blonde again and she reminded me of the seasonal attributes that I should consider and counseled me on my ideal expectations. Together with her expertise and my expectations we came out with an amazing balayage color along with a healthy clean cut, which I was quite impressed with to say the least! Upon doing a google search I found this hair salon and immediately made an appointment. I am excited that there is finally a hair salon in the area that is catered to natural afro textured hair. Shay is the hair stylist/owner. She did the darn thing to my kinky curly tresses. I had gotten a wash, deep condition with my hair/scalp steamed, a long overdue haircut (I had waist length hair, now it's just past my ears) and a flat twist (to be taken out the next day). Shay discussed with me on how I can take much better care of my hair. I will gladly be returning to get routine hair trims to prevent split ends and fairy knots. I get so many compliments about my hair and how healthy it looks! My scalp is happy, my hair is healthy and my curls are juicy! All thanks to Shay and her blessed hands! She's got the touch! Shay also caters to relaxed hair, transitioning hair and locs. Shay will take care of your crowning glory!

Absolutely the worst salon, EVER! Not only was my haircut…read morejacked up, the color was completely washed out within 3-wks & the blowout was like she never used a hairdryer before. I was there for four (4) hours & still I was a mess! BIG waste of time & money - simply STAY AWAY! The salon owner offered to "fix", no charge, but it had to be on her time, weeks later, then when it came time for the appt. I was sick, so the text message response read "OK NO problem, feel better. Call the Salon when you are ready to reschedule". When I called, later that same day, the person answering the phone knew nothing (typical of this place) & then the owner texted, didn't have the guts to call & she wrote...that too much time had passed (what an idiot, it was on her time) & b/c of the cancellations (only one (1) cancellation), I could reschedule, but I would have to pay full price. What a psycho! DON'T GO! THEY ARE NO GOOD! I also paid about $400! DON'T DO IT!!! They should be ashamed of themselves, but they take your money & send you out, looking like a complete mess!
