Never at a hair salon have I been able to see color booklets to show how the base color and highlight will look together. The salon is clean and really cute, and the stylist was super personable and easy to talk to, and really seemed to understand what I was looking for. I have frizzy/curly hair and its sometimes a challenge for stylists to blow out but she did a great job I was super impressed. I have to say that this is by far the BEST hair color I've ever had!!!!! She was helpful in deciding the best shade of "chocolate brown" for my skin tone which I fully appreciated (I want to know what will look right, of course!), and which color highlight would give the right pop of color I was looking for. She even suggested angles to make it look better. Every single product used in my hair smelled DELIGHTFUL too and not chemical-ly/stinky. I will absolutely be back and referring family members and friends to this salon! I highly recommend :)

I had the owner as my stylist which was nice to have, seeing as many times the owners are too busy with running the business instead of delivering personal attention to clients... especially new clients. Mirella is not only "the owner" but also an expert in the beauty field as she not only had the knowledge of the latest trends with recommended techniques but most importantly she utilized her skills and customized them to your personal needs. I wanted to go blonde again and she reminded me of the seasonal attributes that I should consider and counseled me on my ideal expectations. Together with her expertise and my expectations we came out with an amazing balayage color along with a healthy clean cut, which I was quite impressed with to say the least! As a perpetually dry skinned person, she made my face look hydrated and like I had never gone through my acne ridden teen years. She arrived to the venue early, had every product and tool that we could possibly need, and was skilled in the various makeup styles the wedding party requested. She was even able to perfectly cover the sunburn I'd gotten on my chest during the previous day! I requested Christina stay until after the ceremony to fix my makeup because I knew I was going to sob. She stayed, constantly helped primp me and give touchups up until the moment I went out, then fixed my makeup and even helped bustle my dress afterwards (and her initial makeup application was so good -- it hadn't even budged despite my crying during vows)! It's a bummer I've found my forever person, because if I had another wedding she is the very first vendor I would rehire!

I finally decided to try Pure Salon because I wanted my layers and my color fixed and I'm so happy I went there! Arlene listens and does exactly what you need! I was there for four (4) hours & still I was a mess! BIG waste of time & money - simply STAY AWAY! The salon owner offered to "fix", no charge, but it had to be on her time, weeks later, then when it came time for the appt. I was sick, so the text message response read "OK NO problem, feel better. Call the Salon when you are ready to reschedule". When I called, later that same day, the person answering the phone knew nothing (typical of this place) & then the owner texted, didn't have the guts to call & she wrote...that too much time had passed (what an idiot, it was on her time) & b/c of the cancellations (only one (1) cancellation), I could reschedule, but I would have to pay full price. What a psycho! DON'T GO! THEY ARE NO GOOD! I also paid about $400! DON'T DO IT!!! They should be ashamed of themselves, but they take your money & send you out, looking like a complete mess! I had gotten a wash, deep condition with my hair/scalp steamed, a long overdue haircut (I had waist length hair, now it's just past my ears) and a flat twist (to be taken out the next day). Shay discussed with me on how I can take much better care of my hair. I will gladly be returning to get routine hair trims to prevent split ends and fairy knots.
