I started practicing yoga 2 and half years ago in Sparta and tried half dozen of different places from one in Whippany to Wantage to Roxbury, etc. I am so glad to find this place and settled myself to practice yoga on a daily basis. I like all of the instructors in this place. The owner, Dana is very knowledgeable instructor for her class and very considerate to students. I also love challenging Claudia's class which sometimes reminds me of "boot camp" style. :) The fairly new instructor Laura's teaching style, the Ashitanga Vinyasa style is fasnating, too. I always wanted to learn to practice that style of yoga ever since I started yoga. I also love Lauren's class and Amanda's. They are all very professional and knowledgeable. I dropped in for a restorative class on a Sunday morning and it was exactly what I needed: the perfect stretch before hosting a backyard barbecue. My first barre class ever. I thought it was a great workout. Good environment/space. All body parts…read morewere focused upon through the workout. Legs , arms, stomach etc.. I did feel it the next few days..and I felt it to be an advanced class, quite fast paced and intense. Instructor demonstrated move like twice, then walked about the class, she talked constantly throughout the whole workout class motivating and guiding. If I wanted to see if I was doing correctly I could not as she already had demonstrated quickly then walked around. I could kinda look at other participants but they all were doing different. Like at their own pace and limits. The Instructor did not go to anyone to guide them individually so I believe that's where it fell a bit short for me. A quick remark here and there would be appreciated. I was trying to keep up but not sure I was doing current move correctly. I believe a beginners class would be appropriate. There is none, just do what u can kinda thing, so at times I just had to stop and try to reset to make sure I was doing right.. I like to know my form is good as I know if my body isn't in correct position i can feel some joint aches or muscle strain the next day or not get the results wanted moving forward. For me, I think once I know the proper way to do the moves, I can build upon that as far as intensity, speed and getting the most out of the workout. I plan to try again to see if it's for me, perhaps second time around, now that I know what to expect, may be helpful before committing to a membership or this type of class vs yoga, gym, or something a bit more individualized.

The location is great, centrally located in town. The parking in the front is limited, but the parking lot on side and back of building has ample spaces! Get some extra steps in people! They are constantly trying to improve the gym overall, whether it's with aesthetics or a new smoothie bar. This still is not not enough to improve the overall quality of this gym. I will continue to give them my business when I'm working in this area, solely for the convenience.

It had some improvements, but one big issue for me is last year they were without hot water for at least a month. They basically didn't communicate when asked what's going on and just kept implying. They were waiting on a contractor. For hot water that's ridiculous. Eventually they got it fixed but once again it is down now and they are not responding with an update. Most people I'm sure don't use the showers so it doesn't impact them as much but no hot water. You could only imagine how clean this place. It's disgusting and ownership should be ashamed
