Location This "Salon" is located in a building, with no sign, where multi rooms are rented for various business owners. First time seeing anything like this, no signs indicating you are in the right building, and the windows are tinted so you are not sure if you should go in or not. Once inside, you'll see room numbers and if you walk around you will find the salon. Once inside, no one really greets you so it can be a bit awkward. After a minute of standing there probably looking very confused, the hairdresser said, hi are you my bride? I sat down and asked her if we could do something a little unconventional. I asked if she would be willing to give me a haircut since my hair was a bit too long for the look I was going for. She was amazing and said sure. She didn't have scissors with her so she asked the owner. Who was also there working on someone's hair. Grateful she was there with all the supplies needed for my last-minute request. I got a haircut and it matched the look I was seeking beautifully! Then it was time for make-up. I thought I had communicated that I wanted an airbrush application. My artist said hers was broken but she had the best makeup to use for my desired look. Disappointed and speechless, the owner quickly jumps in and said you can use mine. They worked together to get it set up and I ended up really happy with my look. My make-up artist asked a ton of questions, I don't wear makeup so it was a bit overwhelming to try to figure out how to answer the questions. Even though I was vague she nailed the look. She started light and kept it that way. Overall, I loved my look and the artist's flexibility. I was very nervous going into this appointment because last minute, the night before, I received several emails changing my appointment time and artist. It made me really anxious and didn't know if my appointment time would be honored. It all worked out in the end. I decided not to book this company for my wedding day because I wasn't sure they would have the tools required for my look. Since I wouldn't be getting ready at the salon, but at my home. I couldn't risk the chance of the artist arriving without the proper tools. I went to the salon for the trial and because they didn't have the airbrush ready, I thought they would arrive the day of my wedding without it too.

Before I moved to FL I had my hair cut by the same person for almost 10 years. I know what you are thinking "Dude! update that mop, bro" And you would be right. So my first Floridian experience with a local salon was 5 minutes of random snipping and a sales pitch for some hair growth shampoo, which undoubtedly I need. But, in my case, I doubt any shampoo is going to restore my mostly bald dome to jungle thickness curly locks. But I hold out hope. My second experience came with a personal referral, it was to see Regina at Dapper Dudes and Dazzling Damsels. She works alone out of what appears to be a salon co-op, where a few dozen individuals rent space inside a place called Image Studios 360, like a Bangkok street fair but all indoors and well organized. When I arrived, we engaged in a deep and meaningful conversation about... my hair. Yeah, what else would you expect and so far so good. Then came the scalp massage and then a spritz of what appeared to be water, and finally the scissors showed up. Careful to stay within the realm of what little hair I have left, Regina sculped her masterpiece. She trimmed, snipped, and sliced until I was the spittin image of Paul Newman 30 years prior. Well, not exactly, but we were not yet done. Then, and only after checking in with me, I was offered a hot towel face wrap and my final shampoo. I accepted and relocated to the sink. My hair was shampooed, my scalp massaged and my face received the royal steam towel treatment. Nice! At first I thought that the shampoo at the end was weird but actually, I left without hair fuzz all over the place. In the past, I would have showered to get all the hair off of me, but today I didn't need to because Regina's expert and logical finale was the shampoo/clean up. I was done, I was clean, I was cut and I was happy. Nice work by Regina and a new stylist I can count on to do a great job month after month. Oh, and the price. With a tip, I spent less than the first guy I went to so that was a nice surprise. I'll be back and I would suspect you might want to check her out. Tell her Mitch sent ya.

The man ( owner ) did my toes. I had an emergency I had broken my toenail really really bad and he helped me by adding a tip and acrylic to the big toe nail. I was AMAZED it looked so great!!! He also gave me a spa pedicure and I have to say the leg massage was pretty amazing. They took their time and was very polite asking me if the water was too hot or if he was hurting me when he filed the nails. I had a great experience and my feet looked sexy great. I don't live in this area so I probably wouldn't come again but I have to say it was a great experience they are very accommodating. The place looked a little outdated and it was desolate. I was the only one in the entire place. Like I said I was desperate and they did do an amazing job so I guess I got lucky. Thank you. I am very happy.
