My recently, my mom, which is why I felt compelled to write this review. She ended up with a painful infection that required antibiotics. The doctor explicitly attributed it to her manicure and instructed her to get the nails removed. When my mom went back to Hello Nails, they treated her with absolute disrespect. They refused to take the nails off and offered $14 to go elsewhere only if they could photograph her hands first to cover themselves against "self-inflicted damage." To give a customer an infection and then accuse them of lying is disgraceful. You should be embarrassed of yourself Hello Nails.

Walking into Athena Nails Spa I had really high hopes that it would be my go to place…read moreunfortunately, that's not the case. The deluxe pedicure is advertised to take 30 minutes however it took a full hour. It seemed like the technician was paying attention to detail since it took so long but nope my toe nails are lumpy and, you can see the first coat under the bottom coat. I also didn't appreciate the fact that they didn't tell me that gel was $15 extra when I asked if they did gel pedicures as I couldn't find it listed under their services, I was just told when I was ready to pay. (I'm not saying it shouldn't be more but, it's their responsibility to let the customer know of any price change). I always get dipping powder for my nails and they just feel more bulky than usual. The nail technician also didn't notice that he painted over some nail shavings which isn't really visible unless I point it out however I see it and it bothers me I work hard for my money and, I don't like paying for something that I'm not happy with. Sadly it wasn't a happy ending with Athena Nails Spa in total I spent an hour and 50 minutes and paid $104 (not including tip which I always leave no matter what) for nails that I already want to redo. New York prices but NOT good quality.

The shaping of my nails was not according to what I had requested and after four attempts of reshaping my nail tech quit and said I would have to wait for someone else to fix them. I asked her if she thought the shape of my nails was good and she said "i don't know it's your nail", someone else offered to take over but I would've had to wait for her to complete a pedicure service that she had just started. They were extremely rude and had me pay full price for incomplete and ugly work. Would not come here again and definitely would not recommend. The salon was not even clean. They had broken nails on the floor.
