They were very warm and professional. I felt like I was speaking to friends and not a legal team. We reviewed various scenarios and left without any ambiguity. They sent over our family trust and of course I had troubles following along with some of the legal jargon. Katie, Misty and Claire were always responsive and gave me support. They helped to keep costs down by recommending I personally record the documentation and supplied me with the addresses and tips on which locations are best. Yes they do have a service if you rather but it was simple enough that I opted to take care of it myself. They even warned me about solicitors who would be contacting us by mail posing as necessary services. I can't tell you how nice it is to be warned what would be coming down stream so I don't question if I made an error in recording paperwork. I recently attended a estate plan seminar/presentation, and I discovered a couple of flaws in the estate plan that was prepared. I have to retain another estate attorney to assist in fixing the issue and get the administration started. It's a great disservice to the owner of the estate plan and the heirs who are still waiting to be notified and receive what their mom or grandma left for them. PLEASE, do NOT do these to people or treat clients this way!

We were referred to an attorney at NM Law to gain conservatorship of our 19 y.o. autistic niece…read more The original estimate was $5,000 but due to the very strange way that the San Francisco courts operate, they had to re-do paperwork multiple times that would have been acceptable anywhere else in CA. They also rang up $$ because the court forced them to search for our niece's mother, who abandoned her and moved outside the USA with no forwarding info. Affidavits from her ex and her family were not acceptable by SF -- oh joy. So yes, it cost over double the estimate, and they could have thrown their hands up and told us to go elsewhere -- but they didn't -- they played the San Francisco game with unlimited patience. And they won. Yee-haw!
