We ordered a couple drinks, loved that some places had samples so we can try before we buy! My bf got a smashburger & I got the loaded carne asada fries my friend tried the asada elote! We all pretty much loved each of our options I will say their side sauces are what made it pop for me! The green sauce was so spicy I loved it & the other orange sauce was delicious too! Later on we got some Cathy cookies ugh which are some of our faves! So had to get a bucket haha then some curly fries which were ginormous haha but better be if we're paying OC/LA pricing ...so to be expected. So fun & cute to see all the dogs dressed up in their lemon fits (: Downside was parking was ridiculous. It was packed so very crowded so lines were a bit long here n there. Also if ya didn't find free parking (which was a long shot around the time we went) we had to pay $20 to park at the high school lol

I enjoyed the freshly squeezed lemonade and the grapefruit jelly I purchased. I enjoyed the company of my friend who checked out the festival with me. My friend commented that we normally don't hang out in downtown Upland, and there are some inviting looking restaurants, cafes, and shops to check out sometime. Cons: expensive parking ($20-30), WHERE ARE THE LEMONS???, too loud and crowded, pretty much a mini LA County Fair without any of the cool exhibits. The main issue is the misnomer: you hear lemon festival and you kind of expect lots of cuisine that is lemon-focused. Like at a garlic or lobster festival. Maybe it used to be, but not anymore. So as a first timer, rather disappointing. 2.5

Get ready to eat.... a lot…read more As a foodie, I was so excited to attend this event. We went Sunday about a hour after the event opened. You should also to make sure to bring lots of cash because it makes life easier! I had some notable dishes... Including truffle fries from Mangia Mangia (a food truck from San Diego) and some very delicious lobster ravioli in a sauce that was a mix of alfredo and marinara. Next stop.. Desimigo for some veggie samosas! They had the right amount of chutney and spice on these delicious fried indian treats. As my friends were waiting in line for their samosas, I waited in line for about 40 minutes for the Cousin Maine Lobster truck. The lobster was definitely delicious and worth the wait! I ordered the Maine lobster roll and the lobster was cool, delicious, and very very fresh. The staff was also fun and had a great sense of humor. As we were walking around, our attention was caught immediately by HUGE eggrolls. So we ventured over to the MO Eggrolls. They were out of the tuna salad one that I really wanted to try, but their roasted veggie/hummus was very tasty. It came with a hot sauce and a delicious Kosher Dill pickle. Add a couple beers on to the bill and we were literally rolling ourselves out of there.

French fries looked delicious but absolutely FLAVORLESS served along with FLAVORLESS ketchup purchased from smart and final. I wouldn't recommend this food to anyone. How does a business who's only job is food, serve you something that I'm sure they wouldn't even eat? So i got a response from the Owner, Heidi. Let me just say she is very unprofessional and accused me of lying about my experience with the food her business served me and implied that I wasn't even there. My wife checked in to the Grape Harvest Festival on FB the day that we attended. I guess Heidi can't apologize instead of criticizing an adverse review.

Yes, the festival is tiny compared to the OC Fair, but I liked that there was no thug element present (LA County Fair). My only complaints would be the lack of promotion for this event and that they don't have any rides or even jumpers for the really small kids. Most rides require kids to be 42" tall with some requiring a height of 34". Also, 2 of the 3 beer stands had warm beer. The stand on the east wall next to the grape stomp stage had really cold beer though. Lucky for me, my only beer was from this stand. Not so lucky for my friend...

Woohoo @TheYumFest!…read more Today was an awesome foodie day with my friends Jacklyn D, Jessamine D. and JoAnn P. With over fifty food trucks to choose from we didn't know where to start. Fifty food trucks were scatted throughout the lot with a eating area in the middle and a dj in front of the eating area. There was an entrance fee of $7 and we were quickly given our happy face stamps and off we were to go search for which food truck would make our foodie hearts happy. Some trucks had longer lines than others but most moved pretty quickly. The hardest part of the day was deciding which truck to try. Burgers? Banh mi? Tacos? Cupcakes? Ice cream sandwiches? Pupusas? Fries? In the end, we each got something different and shared a couple things. It was a nice being able to see such a wide variety of trucks and try so many different things! Thanks The Yum Fest! We had a great time! Now I have a bunch of Yelp reviews to do on several trucks ;). Yay to a very Yumilicious day!

Disneyland for food truck enthusiasts. That pretty much explains everything…read more You know, food trucks aren't what they're cracked up to be, it's expensive and most of the food sucked. For $7 to get in, I thought it was pretty reasonable since all the food trucks met in one place versus having to drive out there into LA to find them and getting lost. ($7 only gets you in the area, any food is extra) I'm so glad that I got my food truck dreams over with, otherwise I know I'll be talking about them for another 3 years or so. The event had trucks from the local Slummin' Gourmet (Walnut) to the all famous Kogi , Grilled Cheese, Ragin Cajun and Nom Nom trucks. Many Filipino fusions, shaved ice, and numerous slider/burger trucks also had their places on the parking lot. I didn't get to try all the trucks, but I'm glad most trucks had samples which helped us (Vince V. and I) delete them off the list. Most of them really weren't any good, it really was the people that ran the trucks that made it worthwhile. Honestly, I thought the event would've worked better in the evening, it was so hot, I was redder than the Lobsta Truck! So hot and barely any shade too. What I also hated was that they were sticklers for water bottles, you aren't allowed to bring in your own waters, and in such hot weather, I was surprised no one passed out. It wasn't as fun as I hoped it to be, quite sad really. The best part was getting a picture with the famous Ragin Cajun man, he's so awesome!
