Chances are people haven't over inundated this location the night before to buy them all up so they can sell it on Ebay. I guess one of the negatives here is that it is smaller than the newer places so there's only 8 theaters here which means that movies will be more likely than not only shown in a single theater (less flexibility of start times or they may not have certain movies if a bunch are out at the time). Parking is also really easy here. There's a pretty sizeable lot and of the times I've visited, I've always found a spot no problem.

I called right away and asked them if they had seen it, they said they were cleaning the theater, but would look for it. Thankfully, it was brought to the concession stand in tact. Nothing was stolen, and for that I am deeply grateful. I will give them credit for their honesty. While not my typical style of theater, I can't knock the price. It gets the job done.

I showed my valid ID and asked to confirm that I could purchase two margaritas. The bartender said yes "2 drinks per ID." Then she asked if I was watching the movie alone. I said no, I was with a friend. After that, he suddenly refused to sell me two drinks because "they are not both for you." What made no sense is that she admitted if I had said I was alone, she would have sold me both drinks. I even spoke with the manager, who said I should be fine because the policy is 2 drinks per ID. My friend is also 41 years old, and I never even said one of the drinks was for him. The entire interaction felt contradictory and unnecessarily difficult. It honestly seemed like honesty was being punished. Very disappointing customer service. Ended up not being able to get drinks. I guess their bar does not need the sales. Bad bad bad customer service.

The seats are comfortable but the theater is starting to show its age and could be a little cleaner. The concession lines usually move quickly and I like that they also have a bar for drinks. My only complaints are that the sound could be better and I wish the lights dimmed more once the movie starts. Other than that, I've always had a solid experience here and keep coming back.

And I believe this location has a legit IMAX (1.43:1 aspect ratio) screen. There's only a few of these screens in all of Southern California. So glad I woke up early went to the early showing where there were still quite a bit of available seats. Project Hail Mary is a movie that was meant to be seen on as big a screen as possible. The ordering process and the check-in process was easy. The people here are very very friendly.

I remember even when the AMC opened inside VG mall and it was the closest theater to us we would drive down to the Edwards because it was the gold standard for cinema. Now is there things that need to be worked on? probably but I can't speak to them because I haven't been inside the other non-IMAX formats here for a longgg time. I had seen the first half of Wicked at home through streaming, so it was a treat to watch the second half in the theater. It was packed! All ages, everyone appreciative, with applause at the beginning and end. I chose a seat near the back because these theaters are much smaller than the more commercial AMC or Regal cinemas. Seating is not luxury recliner style, but comfortable enough. Staff at the Laemmle is friendly, and their concessions seemed decent, offering even some alcohol options.

The screen seemed huge compared to other indie theaters I've been to and the seats were comfortable. I would see more films here if I'm in town. I know they are always showing a lot of very cool indie films and limited releases. Parked at the parking structure down the street and walked over. Claremont is a very cool place to visit and Laemmle's is a great excuse to visit this town.

The movie was at 12:50 and we walked up to the concession stand and guess what I see!? Plastic cups for the large refillable size. I LOVE that! So immediately got a large Pepsi zero and the popcorn trays for the kids and got our tickets from Ernie. Ernie was friendly, welcoming and was very patient as I was trying to pick seats with the friend next to me. Got everything and went to enjoy our movie. Had a blast! Kids loved it, finished their popcorn trays and we left the theater. As I was leaving, you know I had to get my large refilled and Ernie was there again. He smiled at me and asked what I was drinking and he refilled my plastic large cup with no problems whatsoever. Had a great time, glad I came back and will definitely be back for more experiences. Not sure if you had anything to do with it Makayla, but thank you for listening and making adjustments.
