Updated 4/29/2022: First contact on 1/7/2022. Initial consult on 1/21/2022 with virtual zoom meeting. Initial payment on 2/2/2022 - Lost contact till 2/22/2022 Drafts received on 3/16/2022 Final meeting on 4/29/2022 in person at Glendora office. After lost contacts for 20 days, we received the follow up emails from the office manager on 2/22/2022. Then we got the drafts on 3/16/2022. You will need to provide the required information and document to be able to make the final version of trust. We got to sign on the final living trust smoothly on 4/29/2022 at Glendora office as their current main office. Make sure you may need at least 5 -6 months to get this process done. For better communication, double check with the office manager when making the initial payment on how long it might take for the drafts prepping to prevent the lost contact period we had. We got ghosted for about 20 days. It is really scary! The office staff needs time to prep for the drafts, you also need time to review the draft and make changes if necessary. It takes time for the back and forth emails communications. After the final meeting with Chris for signing the trust in person, he is professional and knowledgeable. We are not afraid to ask any stupid questions to make sure that we understand what are on our trust and what are on our to do list next. Terrible customer service. Never answers the phone, and always forces you to leave a voicemail, which just go unanswered. You can try emails, but that doesn't work either. Don't expect any sort of real response at all for at least an entire year. Does not make you feel like a priority. After the death of a loved one emotions are heightened and you want to feel taken care of. This is not the experience this attorney provides, I would definitely not use this attorney for my own estate planning, because I would not want my loved ones to go through what I have had to go through as a result of this attorney's poor customer service and unreasonable delay in their duties. read more

we had a miserable time trying to settle my Fathers trust and estate with Christopher and Paula. Nit only are available they refuse to answer emails, We sent several emails to get an invoice and an update with no response. We ended hiring another law team to finish out what they started. We still never got an invoice or a response from them. My sister and I were co-trustees and we have different deposits that we needed to reconcile. Still no response from them. read more

My brother passed away in early June of 2023. He died in the hospital and first I should say that it was very good and kind of Christopher Johnson to meet him in the hospital for recording his last wishes. My brother left his money to his son and to a pastor that was a great deal of comfort to him in the hospital. It is now January 14th 2024, and Christopher Johnson still has not distributed the money. The money left in my brother's estate was lower than the required amount for probate, so that is not the reason for the delay. We actually can't find out the reason for the delay because he won't return our calls or emails. There may be a very reasonable explanation for not distributing these minor funds (not minor to my nephew or the pastor), but he and his office simply will not respond to our emails or phone calls. If we could just understand the process or whatever complication is happening, it would be easy to be patient. read more

Disappointed in the lack of communication from this office. Chris was very straightforward in our initial conversations about setting up a trust. However over the last few months I have received almost no communication from their office despite multiple emails and a voicemail. It is now 7 months and counting since our initial consultation, which is far longer than the industry standard for trust preparation. At this time I cannot give them anything but 1 star since they have failed to produce a product and failed to communicate with me despite adequate patience on my end. read more

Had a phone consultation about a probate matter and he got my hopes up that I had a case to pursue. He sounded like he actually cared and was going to follow through. Then, nothing. I waited 2 weeks thinking he was getting around to it. Finally I called to see what he had done and the coward got his secretary to call me and say he didn't want to take the case. Such disrespect! Over a year ago, when I last had work done by Mr Johnson I would have given him a 5. However I recently referred an elderly friend to his office to have a Trust redone. It is now IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of this office via telephone. ALL communication is done online including making an appointment for a consultation. HOWEVER you are given a choice of times when he may or may not be available The times I requested he was not available - WHY WERE THEY NOT BLOCKED OUT?? I requested a phone call and Pauline called me and said that Mr Johnson would not be able to get to it immediately as they were moving offices. I said that was OK and could I drop the documents off. She said yes and I dropped them off. FOUR WEEKS went by and I HEARD NOTHING from Mr Johnson or his Office. I had to use the website to contact them and asked for a phone call. Pauline called me back and the day I wanted to pick up the documents to take to another attorney was not convenient for them but the day after was; and I don't live in Pasadena. This type of professional service is not professional and when you can't pick up a phone and talk to someone is unheard up. Communication solely by Website is very inconvenient and unprofessional also. After this experience I would not recommend Mr Johnson to anyone. read more
