Well... it seems Dr. Troxel has left us in the hands of his brother from another mother. While his wife Misty provides the administrative backbone to the practice, making sure everything runs smoothly, and processing patients' insurance paperwork ASAP, Dr. Forsee blends previous methods at the practice with is passion for new digital capabilities. I was therefore able, remarkably, to have three crowns put in during a single visit and avoid the anxiety of delayed or incomplete procedures due to hurricane interruptions. The current team surrounding the doctor is a balanced mix of former friends and talent with new equally skilled professionals. Dr. Forsee and this exceptional team made themselves available around our needs to prepare my husband for crisis heart bypass surgery by removing a badly decaying wisdom tooth that could have led to infection. We were both incredibly moved and strengthened when they called to follow his progress. Their timely help undoubtedly contributed greatly to my husband's rapid recovery during a frightening time. They've guided me how to keep my natural tooth as long as possible, never rushed me toward any procedure like crown, root canal or extraction until now when the tooth is really needing to be taken out. Even then, Dr. Jones was happy to refer me to a local surgeon who does sedation which they don't do at Paradise, in case I was feeling like I needed that. As a military veteran family, we are aware of long lines and wait lists. Also how they work. We have been on a "list" since April 16, with an appt time of Aug. we have called numerous times expressing my husbands pain and discomfort without resolve. Or an opportunity to get assistance. I finally asked to speak to the office manager because the pain is going down the jaw- Jenna Spelios- the wife of one of the dentist said it would be better to have us go else where because she was upset that we were so disappointed in her front desk. I couldnt agree more, we asked for a way to contact someone else her response was to look online. Save yourself time, headache and money. Go to an office where your health and care are a priority. That an office manager who takes your frustration with kindness and offers a solution, and not a back ended I would have helped you "if"... thats not how customer service works. Be your own advocates! Its truly unfortunate about the people at the front line- preventing the doctors who signed an oath to protect and treat.
