Dr. Christopher Jenkins is one of the best psychiatrists out there. He's real, honest, and to the point -- never over-diagnoses or under-diagnoses. I truly respect that. He's also an addiction specialist, and even though that's not what I see him for, I have huge respect for anyone in that field. Addiction specialists can make or break someone's recovery -- it takes real heart, patience, and intelligence to treat people in active addiction the right way. He is a suboxone doctor-he will not accept insurance- he takes cold hard cash/card only. If your appt is not in the first half of the month- he charges an extra $20 so 170 per month. He has zoomed since 2020. read more

I have been with Dr. Jenkins for a couple of years now and I think he is amazing!! He listens to me and has always exemplified excellent bedside manner! Even through telemedicine!!! I highly recommend him as his wisdom is hard to come by in today's society!! I have never had a problem getting my prescriptions from the office or filling them!! PLEASE READ AND RECONSIDER - IMPOSSIBLE TO FILL PRESCRIPTIONS & *** EXTREMELY RUDE INEPT STAFF*** I strongly recommend finding another physician based on this doctor and his staff. While Dr.Jenkins is a seemingly fine doctor, his office is run by only two rude elderly women. These women are inept at handling prescriptions, they fail to follow doctors orders, they do not answer the phone or return phone calls, and above all else they are extremely rude, unprofessional, and irrational to speak to, and refuse to relay messages to the doctor. I have been with Doctor Jenkins for over a year and I have not once had a prescription filled hassle free. Each time I have had to call the pharmacy and their office repeatedly, tracking down the prescription myself. This office is out dated and does not use modern day technology for prescriptions making It difficult to fill a script. Prescriptions with them must go through the mail, in which they do not bother tracking - even controlled substances. This last time takes the cake for me and I will be finding a new doctor at this point. When calling for an update on yet another lost prescription, the receptionist Lynn became completely irrational and angry. I asked if the prescription had been mailed and what date it was mailed on and she raised her voice accusing me of "being stupid" and "calling her stupid" then she hung up the phone. I called back and was rejected. I called from my husbands phone and got the office manager Susan who was already unglued when she answered the phone. I asked If I may speak to the doctor being that I was hung up several times and she too hung up on me. I called once more and the women said that they would not connect me to the doctor, I could not have his email address, and I could not make an appointment with him. I did some digging and connected myself to a tele appointment with doctor Jenkins where I calmly informed him of the treatment I was receiving. His response was "They might have some personal things in their lives that you do not know about and it would be inappropriate for me to tell you" I am sorry for their personal lives but I am absolutely appalled at the treatment of a patient and I find that to be extremely unprofessional. I see Dr. Jenkins for ADHD only but I pray a patient with depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder never have to go through that experience and the denial to speak to their psychiatrist. My hope with this review is give prior warning to the hoops you have to jump through with this doctor and to spare other patients the stress and anxiety I have been caused. read more

Do NOT call this office. I am a educator and married to a soldier. The office manager/insurance told me she could care less my story or wanted to help and that wasn't even getting to the doctor who she said I could not leave a message for. They didn't want my business nor insurance so I'm making the public aware of the treatment and my insurance even though she said she didn't care about that either. read more
