My daughter went to this salon for a service. She showed the owner, wanda, a picture of what she…read morewould like to have done. The picture was a lighter brown then she currently had, with highlights. Instead of producing my daughters results, the owner bleached her entire head. She stripped it of all color and stated that all color had to be stripped out and it would take multiple times of her coming back to add color back in. Remind you my daughters hair is darker brown. I have spoken to numerous beauticians who all stated that her hair just needed to be lightened and highlights put in. Not only did the owner bleach my daughters entire head, but she chemically burnt her scalp and neck. When my daughter told her it was burning, she responded by giving her some conditioner to apply where it burned. She then left the product on for quite some time more. As a result, my daughters hair is destroyed. The owner even made the comment, that she was "happily surprised her hair hadn't fallen out". I spoke with the owner over the phone about my concerns. She advised me to bring my daughter in for her to dye it again, for an additional charge. I told I her I would not. I told the owner I was not happy and would like the $163 she charged refunded. She stated she would return the money, minus the cost of product, and she wanted to see my daughter. I arrived with my daughter, only to have the woman yell in my face, pointing her finger over and over in my face and tugging on my daughters hair telling me it looked great. This further embarrassed my daughter in front of the womans other clients. She made every excuse to defend ruining my daughters hair, instead of apologizing for her mistake. She was very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. She then declared she would not be returning any money. My daughters hair is dry, broken and will take years to reverse the damage this woman has caused. I have spoken to other area salons. They are appalled by this and stated this should have never happened, especially to a young girl.
