Restaurant Christophorus is located on the upper floor of the Porsche Museum at the Porsche headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. US Prime beef is the speciality and focus of the menu. Mediterranean cuisine is also offered. I had the tuna sashimi, lobster soup with lobster ravioli, and ricotta gnocchi with winter vegetables and beech mushrooms. The freshness, presentation, and quality of the food was excellent. The service was professional. I loved the open kitchen and the gorgeous restaurant and bar. Fantastic restaurant and we are both glad we went. I made my reservations approx. one month ahead of schedule (recommend booking ahead). I was able to get a table but I could see that seating was limited. Immediately after arriving, the staff is very attentive and helpful. They enjoyed talking with you if you wished, giving you recommendations, and giving you guidance if you were a tourist. The restaurant has a fabulous view, on one side by the Porsche museum, and the other of the dealership and the Porsche factory. The car in view in the museum is the new 918! The steak we had was fantastic, the wine was great. The sides we had were wonderful and of course, try the deserts! We had a great time. There is a smoking room behind the bar which has a great view, a bar, and a very casual atmosphere. The prices are not inexpensive so if you plan a dinner here, be prepared to pay a bit more...but it is worth it! read more

If you want the BEST dry aged steak and a great glass of wine look no further; however make your reservation well in advance or you will be left wanting. They do one seating and you are treated like you are the only person in the place. Dress is casual, food is 5 star quality. I LOVE this place and it is my only #1 favorite place to eat in Stuttgart. A crisp restaurant with friendly service and good food. I loved the calf tartar appetizer and its contrasts of textures and tastes, but my fish entree was just okay and nothing to write home about, particularly. The dessert (a creme brulee, but that used yogurt instead of vanilla cream) was not bad but also not astonishing. You can't really go too wrong eating here, just don't expect much originality despite the high prices. Bonus: they have the coolest bathroom sinks you may have seen in a long time as a light illuminating the half-pipe-style faucet turns from blue to red with shades of pink and purple as you change the water temperature. read more

A completely unexpected delight. My sons and I were on a car mecca trip to Munich, Ingolstadt, and Stuttgart with the Porsche factory tour and museum the final leg. After an amazing morning in the factory and a couple hours in the museum, we were hungry and wondering what to eat, and discovered this wonderful spot. Then is one of the best keep secret's in Stuttgart the food is excellent and the staff are kind and courteous. Victor my server was great as all ways. I been coming here twice a year for the last three years on my return trip back to the US.. This is defiantly a four and close to five star restaurant. So don't expect to pay for a cheap meal here. and the cost is well worth it.
