Wife, stroke patient. First the door opens: 4 different people checking blood pressure 5 times an hour. Give meds for pain. Doze off. 15 to 20 minutes goes by. Door opens again, need ice?, again shot, again food, repeat No possibility of sleep. Perpetual Stress Trauma is what they've good at. 7 days of it. That creates PTSD. I don't think there's a single court that's going to rule in error. She became combative due to this treatment. Now she's strapped to the bed. They tried to repeat more. Sorry excuse for bedside manner from the triage team. 1.) I am proudly employed by CPSB regardless of if you agree with me having a bra on or not. I'm not wearing a bra because my breasts are sensitive. They hurt. You, a woman, should understand that, 1.5) it is completely inconsequential to your position as a NURSE that you used to be a teacher. 2.) your job is not to make the assumption that I'm there for pills. I was not there to put on an act. I was in legitimate devastating pain. Christie Oschner St Patrick Hospital is absolutely the best hospital in town. Anytime I'm sick or need medical attention this is I my go to place. I have had occasions where I wasn't feeling well and I have had to go to the ER at least twice and each time I've come in there was no wait the lady at the counter brought me right in. My vitals got my information and got me to the back within about an hour or so the doctor on call was actually in there checking on me getting an IV check my blood pressure and get an EKG to make sure that everything was okay so as far as that goes I've never had any problems here Christus. The staff is friendly on my went to the cafeteria to get something to eat in the staff was really really friendly the food was awesome the prices are okay on the grounds are kept beautifully. All the doctors I have encountered are top-notch. I have also had procedures done in the endoscopy lab and the doctors there are all very very awesome they take great care of their patients the staff there is wonderful and they make you feel right at home and comfortable even in scary times. The Er Nurses were very uncaring and was in there laughing and carrying on like they were having a party while my mother was trembling uncontrollably with pain in the bed while we had zero answers. I had a mild meltdown and after that One nurse finally came in and was very nice. I think these people grow cold and numb from seeing different people constantly but they should find a different field! after being admitted and given a room the Drs and staff were absolutely the best you could ever ask for! They actually saved her life! I owe them a lot for their knowledge and wonderful bed side manner that made her very comfortable and made her trust them and do exactly as they told her Which made a very quick recovery possible! Thank you very much! If you hate people then don't go into the medical field! it's more than a paycheck it's people you are dealing with! Worst care I have ever had. Was hit from behind any a car doing a minimal of 40 mph that happened at 1030 I left out of there at 530. They were rude just because your badge says nurse on it doesn't give you the right to be a donkey. On a good note dr was nice read more

The only hospital I go to. Great nurses on the third and fifth floor. I really like the way things are done in order and correct. My doctor is the greatest, which is in The Imperial Group. Hats to you all time with my health issues. read more

i have so many tgings to say about this hospital good and bad.....MOSTLY bad First, let me start with the staff. Human resources must hire from the same pool as the people who work at the DMV. Always rude. People are sick amd in pain so this hospital likes to make this an even worse experience by putting their most miserable people up front. Then when you are finally in the back you are, if youre lucky, examined by a Nurse practitioner or hospitalist. Hospitalists are a joke here. One tried to send my dying grandmother home without allowing her to get a second opiniom from her regular dr. Mind you she was stage 4 liver cancer and had a stroke was paralyzed and we had no way of even transporting her from the hospital. Another hospitalist sent me home a 4 time open heart surgery patient with fluid in both my lungs a clot and endocarditis after he told me my cardiologist had cleared it.. He lied. He also tried to overload me with fluids after i told him i have CHF. He really wanted a lower maintenance patient. I ended up with 6 weeks iv antibiotics through a pic line because of this visit. This is a bandaid hospital If you need a quick fix youll probably fare alot better than I or my grandmother did. I have to continue to go here bc this is the only hospital my cardiologist has rights to. I love my local cardiologist. Dr Foster along with my dr in Houston have saved my life. I will reccommend anyone to him. Just beware anything serious stay the hell away from this place. For lack of better words this place is a shit show read more

One friday afternoon, I went to the E R. They checked me in, took my vitals and blood. After waiting for the doctor, a nurse practioner comes in and says we can't see you. I thought to myself, is this a joke. Thank God my primary care physician office was still open. read more

Friday I went to the Urgent Care on Nelson Rd. I have been a patient in the Imperial system since its beginning. All my doctors are in the system It is great. I have NEVER had a complaint. Doctors and staff have been wonderful. But not yesterday. I was greeted nicely but I never understand the question as she talked so quietly. I had to ask her what she said There was only person ahead of me. I waited about 15 minutes to be called. The nurse who took information on me was nice. She did not have my record with her. Then I waited about 15 more minutes when a man came it with a record and asked the same questions that the nurse asked. I did not know who is was. He had no white coat on (as all others had) and he wore no tag. He never told me who he was. He seemed a bit sloppy in his appearance. After the chest Xray I waited 1/2 hour in the room!! No magazines or anything. No one to check on me or to explain why I was there so long. I opened the door and was able to use the phone at their desk to call my husband to tell him not to worry. I asked what was taking so long. That was when they said that the xray had been sent off on the internet to the radiologist. .I never was told that this was being done or that the DR had to wait until he got that. I asked for a magazine and got one. Then she asked if I wanted to watch the TV. I said yes. FINALLY Dr. DiGiglia came and showed me the xray. He just showed an air bubble in my stomach but did not say what he found if anything on the xray pertaining to the pain that I was there for. I got two shots. As I left the building no one even said have a good day or I hope you will get better soon. I got there are about 3:45 and it was almost 6 when I left. I am not one to explain and complain anything like this. I just hope that the staff be reminded that the patient is the reason for their jobs. I have used St. Ptricks for 50 years.. Always have had a good experience. Imperial Orthopedics, Rehab 1, MRIs. My two children were born there. Now I will shut up and get back to my life.BTW there is no pain now at all.
