I called Christy's to help me with a work request for flowers. I was fussing because the award ceremony is at 9am and we wanted a large, beautiful arm bouquet. Mario was very calming, helping me sort out the best way to do this. The bouquet was delivered the afternoon ahead and he sent a bucket for us to use to hold it overnight. We were having an event in the area and needed a local florist. We found Christy's Florist on Yelp. The owner was so attentive to details, and the arrangements for the baby shower came out spectacular. He made sure to add our request for a "touch of blue" in the arrangements. The flower arrangements were delivered promptly, and the owner exceeded our expectations! Overall a wonderful experience and a delight to work with. I would 10/10 recommend. Great place to get beautiful flower arrangements in the East Brunswick area! We came in and met Mario looking for a simple bouquet. After telling him my preferences, he was extremely helpful by showing us the flowers he would use, and the conditions in which they thrive best under. He was very flexible with pick up time, and kindly mentioned that we could park in front of his store for easy access. My bouquet was everything that I wanted; simple yet elegant, and neatly packed together with white ribbon. Overall, I received wonderful and careful service, and was very pleased with my order. I placed an online birthday arrangement for delivery. The morning of the scheduled delivery, I found out that that birthday girl is out of town for a week! I called Christy's and had the great pleasure of speaking with Mario. I explained my dilemma and he calmly said that he would reach out to his driver, as the arrangement was already on its way. He was then beyond kind enough to say that they would deliver a new arrangement next week when the birthday girl is back in town. I apologized repeatedly and couldn't thank him enough for being so professional and kind. And this is how you do business....the old school way! They didn't do what they say and are difficult to work with. We had ordered several large flower pieces for a family members funeral and one of the pieces was not made as described. During the order process the owner was evasive and difficult by imposing his opinions and then describing things vaguely. The receipt lacked detail. Needless to say, this not something you should have to deal with anytime let alone during a death. There are much better flower shops in the area. The above review is my opinion read more

Don't use these crooks! I went to them to have a birthday/valentine arangement sent to my mother and what she got for what I spent was nothing short of thievery.The women who was behind the register was not friendly but more arrougant, I almost felt she didn't want to be bothered. She said since the flowers were going to Mountainside the florists there charge more but I went thru the florest in South River last time and the flowers were EXACTLY as described and was also Mountainside. I read the other reviews here and the negative ones are on the money, the positive one's I don't believe and could have been placed by Christy's. Just got off the phone with representative of Christy's Florist I had ordered a Funeral Spray for $150 that came to over $175 tax and delivery!! Was atrocious!! Looked nothing like I ordered It was suppose to include white roses and many other flowers that made it look beautiful ... This was a beloved family member ... this made an appalling appearance!!! The person I spoke to admitted he was the one that made the spray and didn't even have an apology said that what he did was worth the money I sent!!! This needs to be posted and I am also contacting better business bureau! read more

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!! We ordered 4 arrangements from them for my baby shower. The very next morning, we called and spoke to someone to reduce the arrangements to 2. Well, someone at the store forgot and ordered 4 arrangements instead. 2 days prior to my event, we called to process the refund and confirm the order. The lady (who I presume is the owner) was incredibly nasty, and insisted that since she already ordered 4 arrangements, we had to pay for them, although it was the store's mistake that they ordered superfluous flowers. After going back and forth in a heated discussion, we graciously offered to purchase all 4 arrangements (just to stop the argument) and stated that we would never do business with them again due to their AWFUL business practices. A few moments later, we received a VERY NASTY voicemail stating that they are cancelling our order and will not provide ANY of the flowers. They cancelled our entire order 2 days prior to the event out of spite!! I have never encountered such unprofessionalism. I didn't even know such poor business practices existed. STAY AWAY!!! read more

Not a good experience. A friend & I went in to Christy's looking to order a simple corsage & boutonniere for a prom. There were three women there working on the making boutonniere's at the time of our visit. They were rude, unhelpful & extremely negative when we were trying to ask about what we were looking for. The man behind the counter was just as unhelpful. I would stay as far away from this 1970's throwback as possible. I wish I would have read these before I used Christys my husband has been using them for years and never again. Horrible customer service. Delivery was promised one day after putting through an order for over $200 and when I called to check in as to why the delivery had not been made yet I got a call back from an ignorant teenager telling me despite them taking my order and my money and confirming the delivery date they don't deliver Sunday's and hope that customers see that on their site. Why did you take my order and my money?????? Absolutely horrible. They took absolutely no responsibility for their screw up and do not know how to run a business or treat customers. Do not use. Agree with the previous posts regarding the personnel. Arrogant woman answering the phone and very short in tone. You can't even finish expressing what you want and she's cutting you off thinking she knows what you want. Once she does check on what she has in stock, she does a poor job of explaining how the arrangement will look. Then you try and give her a break and choose something else and you get more of the same. NEVER, EVER USE THESE PEOPLE!! Unbelievable! On a Saturday in June I ordered flowers for my small wedding which was on Saturday, July 12. The sign on the door and the shop's website stated it opened 8:00 am on Saturdays. I arrived at 8:30 am on July 12 to pick up my flowers, and the shop was closed, with a small hand-written note taped to the door stating it was closed on Saturdays in July. No one answered the phone when we called repeatedly. In a panic, I drove to ShopRite and the floral department came through. And Christy's has refused to refund my full payment. read more

I called Christy's (I am not from the area) to send my friend a thank you arrangement for referring me at her company for a job...I asked for a nice arrangement and was assured for my $53.50, they would send something very nice....When my friend received it I said I hope its nice, to which she replied "its cute" (not a good sign) I asked for her to text me the picture, I was shocked to see they sent what looked like a maybe a $15.00 arrangement of cheap flowers that you can purchase from the food store, I called and asked them if they could spruce it up a bit with perhaps a rose or some other not "filler" flower, I was told they would bring an Iris or two to add to the arrangement...I said ok, instead they went to her house and simply picked up the flower arrangement, when I called to ask when they would re credit my credit card the rude lady that answered the phone (sounds like a cranky old lady) she said the daisy's were a special breed , said she was going to call the police and hung up on me ...I called my bank to dispute the charge considering I received nothing for my $53.50, unprofessional, and unbelievable...I would not recommend them. read more
