The venue, in which the party was held, was a Jewelry Boutique and they did white roses, (unbeknownst to them, one of my two favorite flowers), with GOLD leaf fluttered on them! They were absolutely Gorgeous, more exquisite than I could have imagined. There was also a modern element to what otherwise looked like an Antique style arrangement, which was the placement of greens in angular shapes on the other side of the bouquet. They also did beautiful peach roses in mirrored vases which paired beautifully with the interior of the venue. I thought that we could do a lot of the things that a wedding planner could do and save some money but at the same time we had so many things to worry about it would be less stressful for us at the wedding to have a wedding planner who we could rely on to make sure everything went smoothly. After everything has been said and done, I could not be happier that we decided to get one and that we decided to work with Rachel at Glass slipper. What I found most helpful was being able to check in with someone who actually knew what to expect. Neither of us had been married before so you can read all the books you want, sometimes you just need a little life experience to really guide some of the decisions your need to make and will likely never have to make again. Being able to talk to and email Rachel made this a little easier for us, went things were quoted and if it sounds a reasonable rate or when something went awry we were able to check in with someone who knew what you could do or alternatives. I think inevitably thing will go wrong the day of your wedding. I think things will go wrong in various levels of impact the week leading up to your wedding, from last minute sick relatives, to things that went missing, to things that weren't thought of. There was managing venders and any mishaps regarding them and working with everyone in the venue. This is where I really appreciated hiring Rachel. I felt like she really did everything she could to lessen the impact of those things we had the ability to control and really help us enjoy our day to the fullest without having to worry about the small stuff. I think that in itself was what made it worth it and I am so happy we went with Glass Slipper Wedding and Events.

They had premade bouquets for $30-35, but I asked them if they could make one with pink and white roses and the lady yes for $40. Midway I asked to add some lily's, they added a total of 4 lily's and at the end she says the total will be $75! And then on top of that once I pay I get my receipt back and they charged me $82!!! EIGHTY-TWO DOLLARS!!! So 3 lily's were worth $35, and yet she didn't tell me this ahead of time. Very disappointing that she would overcharge me. I told my fiancé who is from this area who was waiting in the car and he went back in the store to talk to her and she said "well she should've known", meaning that because I'm not from there I should've known she would've overcharged me. For being a florist near hotels and touristy locations, very dishonest customer service.

We connected immediately, and she honestly made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. We were planning for a small wedding given the COVID-19 pandemic, and Victoria developed a vision for the day based on what we were looking for. She was very considerate of our budget. She helped us pick an AMAZING venue (the W Loft), and the way that everything came together on the day of was great. Beyond assisting with choosing vendors, Victoria supported in the process of getting a dress, making sure the bridal party got what they needed, and more.
