These people love my girl and she loves them. We left our other daycare program at our local church for so many reasons and KRK took care of every single issue we had. Here are the reasons I love KRK TOMBALL: 1. Open 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM 2. They serve/provide all the food (peanut free school as well) 3. 11 holidays off the entire year (our old program had 35 DAYS OFF from August to May!! ) 4. Open all year long/ no summer breaks 5. Within very close proximity of our home 6. Cameras 7. No car rider lines/just park - also no issues with pickup because parents all pickup kids at different times of the day 8. Tip top security (mirrored windows, fences that are shaded in, coded entry, etc.) 9. Procare app - they utilize this app for classroom transfers, bathroom breaks, nap times, what they are learning that day, incident reports if any (booboos and treatment), and fun pictures when they play outside. 10. The cost is worth everything they provide here - esp the peace of mind (we pay $285/week for a 2T toddler 5 days a week) 11. f you request off in advance they let you take the week off cost free for a vacation (after being there a year) 12. If you refer anyone to KRK they give you and the referral a week off of pay! I could probably come up with 20 more things about why I love this school. On top of having everything together, the staff genuinely seems to love their jobs and working with little ones as I never see much turnaround. No services, no resources, and no teaching has been provided. We were trying to be understanding of the circumstances and suggested the week to be prorated or potentially pay half tuition. The owners and director did not even address the families and are still demanding full pay. (Again, for no service being provided). We are extremely disappointed in KRK as they do not take into consideration the working families having to take off work (not getting paid) and still having to pay full price for no services being provided. How is it fair that working families do not get paid if we do not go to work, but your employees get full pay for doing absolutely nothing for the week? Send your children somewhere else that CARES about family and your children.

He moved to the next room after he turned three and it quickly went downhill. He spent numerous days in "the office" without any notification for me until I got there to pick him up. I would have appreciated some sort of communication that he had been spending hours in the office, which was a glass room with a dining room table. My son had just turned three, one day I came to pick him up and the "owner "said he refused to put his shoes on and told him he couldn't go back to his class until he put them on by himself. He's three, and it was literally the first day he had ever worn shoes with laces. He had no idea how to untie them, they were in double knots. Another day I went to pick him up and he had been in the office three or four times that day for random things, and the "owner " told me he was harassing other students. I was never called nor notified of this behavior. Just walked in to my 3 year old son in "The office" for idk how long. One day I went to pick him up, and they told me he wasn't welcome back. Again never called or notified until I walked in the door. The "owner " also complained in a letter to all parents that children shouldn't be getting out of their cars after eating food on the way to school, that they could make it from the house to school without eating. And that many of the parents cars look like bombs went off inside them. I don't know how this man is over a school, but it was a terrible experience. This may not be the experience of everyone however it was my experience and I would not recommend this school.

This was a disappointing experience from the start. My son started in the 2 year old classroom and…read moreimmediately regressed academically. After he turned 3 we had parent teacher conference and his teacher told us he was not ready to move to the next classroom. Her reason was he did not meet the maturity and developmental requirements to move up. Less than 2 months later they told us he was moving to the next classroom (he had not shown improvement on the areas previously mentioned). There were inconsistencies at home and I expressed to his then current teacher, new teacher, and the director that I did not think he would handle the transition well at that time. They moved him anyway and he started showing signs of physical aggression which he never had before. I understand the need to protect teachers and other students, but this was poorly addressed. About 10 days into the new class we had a meeting with the new teacher and the owner stating we would need to pick him up early when he was having behaviors and have consequences once taken home. Later that day we were called to pick him up early. The following day they allowed him to stay a full day even though he was having behaviors and at pickup we were told he was not welcome to come back to the school. We were given 1 day, one early pickup to put into practice their action plan. The school did not take into consideration the parents concerns. They thought they knew better.

Our oldest graduated from here and had the best time at school and it prepared her academically, socially, and emotionally for kindergarten. We have had a great experience with our 3 year old as well, he's always happy to go to school and happy at the end of the day when I pick him up. I LOVE that they provide lunches here, are a smaller school so you can really get to know the staff and other families, and that they have outdoor playgrounds and large indoor spaces for play on rainy/cold days! The fact that it is Faith-based is what really sold us and was very important to us. Our children have all enjoyed and benefited from the chapel time everyday. The staff and directors get to know each and every family personally and communication is excellent. Everyone is so friendly and truly care about the children they serve. There was not enough toys for each child to have 1 toy each. When I mentioned it, a couple days later I saw them dump a bucket of old dirty used toys onto the floor. My daughter got bit & scratched and they didn't know how it happened.( there was around 5 kids in her class). ( I only kept her there a couple weeks because I started noticing these things and found another daycare to put her in asap) . Also they didn't have a refrigerator in the classroom to keep milk in, so the milk would be left in sippy cups all day hot. They would play videos ( I'm guessing YouTube kids) on an iPad everyday for the kids to watch. What was worse is not all the kids could see it, and they didn't have any toys to play with. they would put the couple toys they did have away. So they were just in this room with nothing to do. Their arts and crafts consisted of them taking a picture of the child holding a marker etc and then they would take it back from the child and give it to the next one to take a picture with. It was truly awful. There were cops there one day. No one is ever at the front or able to answer the phones. The cameras are always down & they point them where you can't see the majority of the class rooms anyway. Huge staff turnover & shortages all the time. Please go check https://childcare.hhs.texas.gov/Public/ChildCareSearch before taking your child anywhere. This gives incident reports etc on registered daycares.

I went in for a tour last week. While I was there, I noticed a rope hanging from the gate in the…read moreplayground. It didn't take long for a little child to come up and put the rope around her neck. It took the teachers longer than what I was comfortable with to tell the child to stop - I actually had to intervene before the teachers got there. Other things I saw: a baby eating a Froot Loop off the floor, the battery cover to a baby swing dangling off (batteries exposed), a napper in a crib (which is a suffocation hazard - not sure if it was there for storage or if they use it like that on babies). Teachers and babies were in this classroom - it wasn't an empty room. I also didn't see toys for the children to play with. It was just babies sitting in a room with some adults. I also saw: dirty/dingy carpets that the older kids play on, the sides of the rubber tiles in the splash pad rolled up due to being exposed to the elements (tripping hazard), and the tour guide telling me sometimes they mix up the baby bottles - they try not to but it happens (dangerous for babies with allergies or for sick babies). The menu also looked lack-luster. I would have expected healthier options from a Montessori, but I'm new to all this so who knows. On the plus side, the kids seemed happy and the staff seemed nice, albeit lax on safety. The price is good. The older kids' classrooms had more to them in terms of stimulation and activity.

The director and all the teachers treat every single kiddo like their own and are so loving and kind to every kid. My girls still run up to their old teachers to give them hugs when we go up there. When my oldest (now 10yrs old) started going when she was 6 months old we had been at a not so great daycare before and I was apprehensive to say the least. The staff put me at ease very quickly and were always responsive when I had questions or would call during the day to check on my baby. My youngest (now 6) started when she was 8 weeks old. Both of my kids attended until they graduated the Pre-K program there and went to Kindergarten. They also offer a service where you can log in to a secure site and view your child in their classroom(s). That was such a nice bonus when they would have events like Go Texan Day or their Valentine's parties when I couldn't be there but still felt like I was a part of it. If you want your children in a loving and family focused environment you definitely need to go take a tour of the facility. I promise you will not be disappointed!
