This is our second time at the Farmhouse, so that alone says how much we adore it. When we're driving up my baby starts dancing and clapping and some days he doesn't want to leave. Everyone there is truly genuine and cares about every child that walks in that door. All the staff know all the kids by name and treat them as such. It's like dropping your kid off with a family member. You always want to feel like your child is being nurtured and taken care of when they aren't with you and that's the feel I get here at the Farmhouse. I wanted to wait until we were settled in before leaving a review. My son has been here since August. I must say he (we) love it here. We've had our fair share of childcare but there's a difference here. From morning drop off to afternoon pickup EVERYONE has been so nice. They genuinely care about the kids and it shows. My son was out sick for a few days and his teacher actually cared enough to check on him one day. My son has NEVER wished the weekend away so that he could go to school!! He loves everyone there and calls them by name but his fave is Miss Cree . When we pull up in the morning and he doesn't see her car ( have no idea how he knows LOL) he asks where she is and if he'll see her that day. I'm not sure what they're doing there but I know there's a lot of love in it. Kids are some of the most insightful people that roam the earth and can tell us a lot if we listen. The fact that he smiles everyday when I pick him up and races through the door when I drop him off says a lot. I wish we had moved and found this place sooner. I can't say enough great things about everyone from his teacher Miss June to Miss Tiffany to Miss Karen to Mr Jeremy. I will always recommend this place to any and everyone who ask. read more

After touring the facility with the owner, we felt confident that this was a preschool that we wanted our baby to attend due to the curriculum. We proceeded to ask what were the next steps and we were informed that we had to be placed on a wait list. We have called to check the status and left voicemails with no phone call back in return. We decided to visit the place and was notified that our baby had a different placement on the waitlist than what was originally discussed. After telling the owner that she changed our waitlist number. My husband decided against this school after everything due to the major lack in communication. read more

Where do I begin? I, and moreover, my son are so happy to have found this treasure of a school with precious gems as staff who I entrust with what's most precious to me as a mom, my son. My son is unique and what I require as a mom can also be unique, yet the staff embraces the uniqueness and makes no fuss. My son looks forward to go to school each day, tells me about his activities (which are always fun & unique), overall excited and proud of his school. He even tours any friend or family member of ours who goes for the first time. That's how proud he is of his school! The minute you drive through the red gate into lots of green grass area surrounding a beautiful rustic home and then walk inside to an ambiance and setting that is cozy and reminds you of home, you're sold! I imagined my son being free to be a child playing in the grass and lots of spacious areas; the best way to learn for a child is in freedom in conjunction with the right amount of structure. Thereafter, when you are given the tour and hear the story behind how the owners (a precious husband and wife) managed to open their dream Farmhouse Preschool, you're taken! Their concept, experience, vision come to life makes you just want to be a part of it. I knew there was heart in it all. Every detail showed it. Now that my son has been attending for 6 months Mon-Fri, EVERYTHING I perceived is indeed a fact and has exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is not moderate. It's beyond excellent. Every day I walk in to pick up my son, I see the owners themselves cleaning and it smells so so clean. I also remember when one child was unknowingly brought sick and one staff member said, "We're disinfecting everything, we will not have anyone leave here sick!" That stood out to me. The staff truly cares. And may I add, every corner of this school (inside and outside) is very organized and they instill in the children to partake in picking up after themselves too. In comparison to the other school my son had gone to, The Farmhouse Preschool, is set up where children rotate between 4 rooms, main area and front & back outside areas all throughout the day, which is superior to most other daycares who confine them to one room and one outside area all day. This rotating practice preps them for Elementary School who practices this rotating system. To add, my son finally got potty trained this October 2018! Prior to this, he was unsuccessful at home with multiple attempts and in previous school where he would progress and then regress. And although I'm still having issues at home, at school he's fully potty-trained. To me this indicates the school has authority, patience and experience even with the delayed and tough bunch of kiddos, lol! I drive an extra 20 minutes every day to take my son to this wonderful school and it's worth the extra time, mileage and inconvenience to witness my son's joy, satisfaction and learning progress. Last but not least, it's competitive prices are fair and worth every penny. The school always has unique activities in the schedule. Almost makes me want to be a kid again, so I can have so many exciting things to do at school. Through these scheduled fun activities, you can tell the owners put mind and heart into their responsibilities as caregivers and make it worth each parent's investment. I could go on and on. Again, The Farmhouse Preschool is a hidden gem, a treasure and like no other! I feel blessed to have found it. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. My child was injured by a teacher, Christina, and I have since filed an official report with the state of Texas. It was investigated and completely undermined.My daughter was only 2 at the time, she has a speech delay, and is extremely hyperactive, but is not a tyrant or a mean spirited child. She was giving the teacher trouble at nap time because she was still in the mood to play. She left the room (without teacher supervision) to play in the dining area and once the teacher realized she was missing from the room she was brought back to the room to take a nap. She wasn't throwing a fit, she just wanted to hold her stuffed animal when she laid down on her nap mat. The teacher forcefully yanked the animal from my daughter, so hard that it flung her head forward into a door stop on the baseboard. She started crying and was offered no comfort. I only know all of this because I demanded to see the security footage when I came to pick her up and noticed a large purple knot on her head. They lied twice about how it happened, they never called me to tell me she sustained and injury, and they only filled out an incident report after I pointed out the injury. The teacher who harmed my daughter was not fired. I would never advise anyone to take their child to this establishment. read more

Pulled both my kids today. To many issues with the front office. Kid ended up with multiple ant bites(step in a ant pile) , scares on legs and issue with other parents taking home wrong items. Meals and snacks really stink my kids absolutely hate gold fish now. Also, constant power outages.Owners husband told me he would put my son items on the facility porch to pick up. They wanted to make my pregnant sick wife wait until they could get those items return, they couldn't wait 10 minutes to fix the issue, argued with me like it was my fault. Send your kids at your own risk to the place You to pay to much for poor service. I will be taking my kids somewhere that we as parents will have respect as well as proper care for the kiddos. Its crazy out here. You never know what going on behind closed doors especially when you have little ones that can't speak. read more

I looked all over cypress for a school that felt like the perfect place for my daughter and I almost decided to enroll her further away after no luck, until I found the farmhouse preschool. This school is absolutely wonderful and I recommend it to everyone I know. My daughter thrives at this school and loves her teachers, classmates and the owners. Shes been here for over a year now and it's a such a blessing to find an establishment that truly cares for your child and teaching them to be their best! read more

i havent seen any recent reviews for this location other than the past 2-3 years so i will put in my part. on monday 1/29, i worked there as a substitute working for an agency that im with. the staff seemed very friendly and ms.karen was really nice and transferred me over to the infant and toddler room with ms.jamie. i asked and told what i was supposed to do during my time there and i will say i was not impressed with how the teacher was when i was being respectful and courteous in the classroom. for one, i can understand working with the little ones can be overwhelming especially if you worked in childcare for so long. two, this lady was EXTREMELY SICK to where she was not wearing a mask and decides to cough without covering her mouth, which is probably how i got sick from there and how it's disrespectful especially working in a supervised environment with little infants and the chances of getting them sick. there were times where she got on to me for if something like sent done right, again id make sure i get it done, either there at times where i would get no response or a rude response where she was irritated and took it out on me. teacher during when we changed diapers did not clean diaper changing area, including where the kids were laying and it disgusted me. plus we had a little incident happened as well where one of the girls got hit or scratched by one of the little boys and i have no idea if they reviewed the footage for that and told the parents. otherwise, i don't know if the current staff keeps parents updated with this type of stuff because the little girl was crying really bad and ms.jamie did not do anything to go about it. recommend not taking your infant or toddler to this place if you want a teacher would is going to cough in front of your child like how she got me sick. very blunt attitude and would not want to work here anymore. read more

My daughter has been in the loving arms of Mrs. Cree and Mr. Jermey since they were doing this out of their house. Moving into the Farmhouse Preschool has been amazing. The children move rooms through out the day so they are never kept in one place. My child was given a report card the other day showing me what I could work on her with at home as well as what they plan to do in the classroom! The teachers use an app in which they can send us daily pictures and notes of what our children are doing! The best part is my child LOVES this place and all of her teachers! She wants to go everyday. That is important to me. I would recommend this preschool to anyone who wants their child in a loving, caring environment! read more
