Our drinks were out in 3-5 minutes and our food was out within about 5-7 minutes after. As soon as we finished we were given our checks to pay at the front. I think we were here for only 45 minutes and it was amazing! I started out with the iced strawberry matcha and my husband had their iced mocha. The iced mocha was good but the iced strawberry matcha was flawless. The strawberries were so fresh and the matcha was just perfect itself. Great combo together! My husband had the free range eggs on toast and I had the eggs Benedict. His was delicious but the eggs Benedict was amazing. The crispy kale really sold me as it was delectable in each bite. Eggs were poached to perfection and the truffle hollandaise was just delicious. Couldn't have had a better experience if we tried!

For a larger party, coming in with a reservation was convenient since they are pretty busy and change tables often. Service staff were efficient and very friendly. Ordering was easy as well. Their seasonal specials is definitely worth the look over. I had the peanut butter shake and although it didn't look it, it tasted very much like peanut butter in liquid form. I also got to try the summer breeze watermelon salad. That was refreshing. It had a mix of greens, dressing, feta and a crisp prosciutto. I've never had prosciutto served fried; it was delicious. The whole piece married well, and I wish I knew the background of how it was created. I loved every bite! Although the place was crowded, it can still be intimate. Besides indoor seating, they also have a patio and seating outside.

I will say the coffee here and in Australia in general is some of the best coffee I've ever had. I ordered (2) espresso martinis, pancakes, and the sirloin steak breakfast with a side hashbrown. My pancakes were stone cold but I will say the aesthetics on it made it edible. The pistachio butter cream was to die for. My steak was ok ; for the price I simply just wanted more. I could be wrong but I doubt it was even 6oz. If you have this place on your radar be sure to make reservations. This goes for almost every restaurant in Sydney. We chose a couple of favourites and were recommended to try the waffles - every instagrammers dream! We enjoyed corn and zucchini fritters with aioli, avocado salsa and a poached egg, which had a lovely crunch, yet were still light and fluffy on the inside. The serving was very generous so despite being full, was hard to resist finishing. We also had the smashed avo (with a side of bacon) just to lighten things up which was nice and fresh with the hint of lemon. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we tried some waffles served with vanilla gelato, shredded coconut, salted caramel sauce, fresh berries, maple syrup & Persian pashmak! The presentation of this dish was beautiful with the popping colours of the berries atop the glistening maple syrup and the delicate pashmak on the top. It was hard to pull this one apart! It was around lunchtime on Friday and the place was full of customers, which doesn't take many people considering it is quite small. It is a little cafe/take-away shop a couple doors up from Bardwell Park station yet it is surprisingly quiet considering its location. There isn't a great deal of seating so I would be mindful when going as peak hours could make it quite difficult to grab a table. However, they do keep some tables and chairs out the back just in case they encounter a few extra customers than they expected. It had a simple yet modern style & decor with Italian music playing softly in the background - my kind of atmosphere! Known for its excellent sandwiches, it features a black board showcasing around 10 different sandwiches for the picking. There are also various Italian style sweets available for purchase for those that would oblige. Of course, you have your standard selection of hot and cold beverages, coffees included. We decided to grab a chicken wrap costing us $10 each which is great value considering the size of these wraps. They are very large & packed with plenty of ingredients. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were fresh, the bread was spot of and the sweet chilli sauce was delicious! And to think it only cost $10 - a "value for money" miracle in this day and age! To compliment the great chicken wrap was the coffee that followed. A great little coffee with plenty of flavour to finish off the great lunch. Also, the staff at the counter were very welcoming with an overtly passionate demeanour about them which really created a positive atmosphere across the cafe. This was something that really added to our experience on the day, it's amazing how much value "passion" can add to a business.
