It's an all-inclusive playground, which means it's accessible for people of all abilities, which is great. It has a rubberized surface, and has lots of different playground equipment areas for all to enjoy. It's kind of part of the amusement park, but it's totally free and open to the public. This park has three zip lines! It also has musical instruments, wheelchair-accessible ramps up to the jungle gym, slides, swings, a merry-go-round with a zero-depth entry, and lots of other unique features that I had never seen on a playground before. Honestly, I've been to a lot of playgrounds, and this is one of the most inclusive playgrounds I've ever seen! Good job, Green Bay. One thing to note: There are no restrooms or water fountains at this playground. There is lots of parking, though.

Too many of the smaller children going into the big kid play areas with no supervision and nearly getting hurt, kicked, etc. (which is on the parents I realize but I don't want to supervise your kids). I know sometimes options are limited with entertaining kids, especially in WI during the cold months but for the price they charge, it's time for ownership to start investing back into the business. There's a jungle gym with slides, bridges, mini rock wall and lots of places to climb. (Super neat: The jungle gym has a ramp so people with wheelchairs can access it.) There's a merry-go-round, musical instruments, a pretend pirate ship and lots more. The ground is that soft, rubberized material, and it's all around the playground. There are a few benches around the playground for parents and caregivers, but not a lot of shade. This park is 21 acres, and the playground is steps away from the Fox River and the De Pere Riverwalk and Wildlife Viewing Area. You could spend a lot of time here, between playing at the playground, walking along the trails of the riverwalk and peeping the wildlife living around this area.

Prices .25 cents per ticket. It provides you a list of tickets for each ride. Things to know: Not all rides were operating. Free parking. Restrooms at main entrance (white building) and addtional restroom next to playground. Outside food allowed. Concession stand with several items to choose from. No fee to come into park. Several people walking and jogging. Amazing view of the Bay from the Ferris wheel. Looking forward to returning again.

I'm the age of getting raked over the coals, Bay Beach has maintained very reasonable concession prices and the most you pay to go on any single ride is $1.50. The overall theme of the park is geared toward families with younger kids, but there really is something here for everyone. Bay Beach is an absolute must see in the Green Bay Area.
