But, then after I got home I tried my new mask that night and it hurt my face pretty bad to where I couldn't use it because I have very sensitive teeth and the pressure around my nose and jaw was too painful. So, I called the next morning and spoke with Farah. She was very sweet and understanding about my situation. The mask I wanted wasn't in stock at her store so she put me on hold and called another store and got it ordered and delivered to her store within a couple of hours! I couldn't believe how fast she got it ordered and taken care of for me so I would have it to wear that night! I've also called a couple of times asking questions and Farah was very helpful. I would highly recommend this store! Thank you Farah for all your help!

The owner of the establishment I assume greeted me by calling me "brother" I am a Black queer person and I was very much off put by this. As I was leaving the owner or employee also touched my shoulder unprompted and without consent, seemingly in a gesture of friendliness, I did not feel invited or welcome, I simply felt confusion. The art in the store, the wears and gifts are made and produced almost exclusively to appeal to white patrons, while the store is situated directly in the center of a historically Black neighborhood. The associates were friendly, and the store isjust beautiful. They told me they have another location in Tuscaloosa. The items are quite higher end with a few pieces I picked up being priced in the $200-300 range, just as a head's up. I always like to know price ranges before coming into a store. I can see women in high corporate positions wearing to work or attending an important meeting. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the store owner's large black pug named Mr. Pickles. One of the cutest dogs I've ever seen! It was hard for me to focus on shopping after playing with him. The store owner even told me that little boys come to her store after school just to see Mr. Pickles. I have included photos, although I probably should have been taking more pictures of the clothes since that's what you're here for. I plan to do that when I return!

They have a lot of name brand clothes like will loft, banana republic, forever 21 but you have to take your time and dig. They always have the clothes in the right sizes and color coordinated. I have never seen a clothing item in the wrong size..ever. Its clean and the clothes never have that old clothes smell when you get home. Their shoes & purse section could be a little better but they can only sell what they get. They also don't have a public restroom (just so you know in advance)but I can understand why they probably don't. I really like it otherwise, I tell people about it all the time.

All sorts of snacks to choose from including chips, nuts, candy, gum, pre-packaged sandwiches and drinks (water, soda, sport drinks, etc). They also have all sorts of tech accessories in case you have forgot something critical like a charger or ear buds. Magazines and books for the reader in you, they have a decent selection and as long as you're after a common brand magazine they probably have it. Some gift items like magnets, pens, stuffed toys for kids and some clothing items. They really have a little it of everything and are competitively prices compared to other stores selling similar items. Also, they have some sale items form time to time. Usually my go to if I want to grab a drink or have forgot some gum for my trip. Would recommend and would come back here again.

So when we plotted a visit to the former, we knew we wanted to visit the latter. As it turns out, this is technically a "booth" for Irondale Pickers. But it is full store sized, they have their own store front, and their own POS system. So I am going to treat them like a real store and give them a review. You have probably seen my review of other closeout stores. They are very often hit or miss with items and sometimes the products seem old or dirty. This place feels like they strictly get overstock and everything is new and in the package. After talking to the owners, they get majority of their stuff from Home Depot... which is the kind of stuff I like buying!! But they also get some from other stores too. So it isn't all Home Improvement. My wife bought a pairs of H&M towels for $1 a piece! They didn't have anything tool wise that I am in the market for. But you can bet that I will be back frequently to see when they do. I'm a little sad to write this review and let other people in on the secret. But I also want this to stick around so I can get years of tools at a great price! Awesome little spot to visit.
