I came to this law firm at a very difficult time in my life. My Mom was diagnosed with dementia and…read moreI brought her here to gain power of attorney for my brothers and I. No one at the firm showed us the least bit of consideration or kindness. The length of time from our meeting to getting the paperwork was weeks and I was desperately trying to get my Moms affaires in order. When I asked for updates I got nothing. When they finally sent the paperwork they screwed up and had to get them redone. Months later, I had another legal matter come up and thought, well let me at least just get a couple questions answered. I emailed them to ask questions. I received a very curt response with spelling errors that made no sense. I wrote back repeatedly for clarification and was ignored. Never even bothered to correct the grammatical errors that made the response even more confusing. I would never come back here, nor recommend them to anyone.

I worked in an area of law where I saw first hand the consequences of plans not made or poorly executed. To avoid such problems, my wife and I worked with Kathryn Casey, an attorney with an exceptional understanding of long-term care planning. We wanted two things from her: an estate plan that met our current needs and a relationship with a a firm that would be available in the future, in case our needs or circumstances changed. Kathryn designed an estate plan that specifically met our needs, as opposed to a boilerplate approach that might not make sense for our situation. Just as importantly, Kathryn and her associates work every day in the areas of elder law, guardianship, and probate, and their knowledge in these areas gives us confidence that they will be there if we need them some day. One always hopes for the best and easiest outcome, but it is comforting to know that Kathryn Casey and her firm are available if and when they are needed. She is easy to work with, tremendously skilled and thoughtful, and her office handled our case in a timely and professional manner, and at a fair price.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the way my inquiry was handled by your office,…read moreparticularly by Julia. Your website clearly states that your firm services mental health treatment declarations and involuntary admissions petition and I was seeking interest in involuntary admissions. However, when I contacted your office seeking assistance, I was immediately told that taking on my case would be a conflict of interest, When I asked for clarification, I was informed that your firm only represents mental health facilities-not individual families. As a law firm you should understand the importance of accuracy and transparency, especially when families in distress are searching for help in urgent mental health matters. Advertising that you later state otherwise, is misleading and gives families false hope. Furthermore, Julia's response came across as dismissive and lacked empathy. Families dealing with mental health crises are often desperate for guidance, and the manner in which inquiries are handled can make a significant difference. When your company advertise one thing but communicates another, it does a disservice to the very people who need help the most. What a shame that a firm presenting itself as an advocate in mental health law would fail to extend the same care and clarity to families in need.

Please Read HONEST Review:…read more Elizabeth gave me a call back, and her pricing was very affordable I will give her that. But her attitude was of upmost disgust. Honestly, no other way to describe her.... disgust. I was inquiring about a specific deed and she was pressuring me to do a quit claim. I mentioned to her more then once that this is not the type of deed I was looking into. Her entire tone was rude and belittling. She then decided to LIE and tell me Chicago doesn't do gift deeds. It wasn't until I mentioned that I spoke to multiple attorneys in Chicago that mentioned they do gift deeds, that she finally admitted that HER OFFICE only does quit claim deeds. Not only this but talking to her felt like I was a kid being yelled at by my parent. Her tone was unnaturally loud, unsettling, and rattled my energy. I even told her that I am just a possible customer asking questions (like anyone would) and if she could just calm her tone down with me.... She Did Not. She has a very loud pitch voice as if she's desperate for validation and business. I was immediately turned off by her entitled, I know it all, you know nothing, rudeness. Pros: cost efficient Cons: 1. rattling unsettling voice I mean gave me super anxiety to the point where I had to hang up (I'm not going to sit on the phone and take verbal abuse when I remained calm and kind) 2. Dishonest 3. Loud and definitely not a people person 4. Not a good listener 5. Very stressed out impatient energy. If she gave me this vibe over the phone imagine in person. It is clear why she only has 2 reviews. Even her photo looks very stressed as if she's forcing herself to smile. Bad Bad Vibe Steer clear of this one.
