I had also just recently gotten engaged and wanted to be spending my spare time with my fiancé planning my wedding, not fending off a nuisance suit.  I called Peter Lubin and he picked up the phone even though it was after 9 PM on a Friday night. Peter and his partner, Andrew Murphy, handled my case expertly. They caught the plaintiffs in numerous mistakes and adroitly used those mistakes to my advantage. I'm an intelligent person, I love to argue, and I've often been told that I missed my true calling as an attorney, but I can't even begin to say how glad I was that I called DLA and didn't try to handle my case myself. I (like the plaintiffs) would have made so many mistakes had I gone pro se.  Peter and Andrew got the case against me dismissed with prejudice just 2.5 months after I was served, leaving me free to plan my wedding in peace. I've spent the last month or so reviewing mediation letters that range from 17 to 45 pages or so long. They are not the same document, tweaked. It seems as if each new version is completely different and does not contain any of the careful edits we agreed upon. Last week, I found out why: He is apparently using AI to vomit this stuff out. So I've wasted probably 50 hours of my time editing stuff that gets replaced by the next AI convulsion. Today, he sent me a version containing three video links and he essentially stated that all three showed a document being signed. But that is factually incorrect. One of the three videos has nothing to do with any document. Rather, it discusses a home. I asked him to correct the error. His response: He basically put his fingers in his ears and hummed, and threatened to quit. That was about his fourth such threat in a week or so. Nobody should ever put up with conduct like this. I should also probably mention that my lawsuit was dismissed for want of prosecution and counterclaim was defaulted against me because of missed court appearances or similar by one of his partners. He was probably a great attorney. That is in the past, as far as I can tell.

I retained this firm in September 2025 to assist with a tenant matter, and as of April 21, 2026, the tenant is still occupying the property without paying rent. Given the length of time that has passed, this delay has been both financially and personally burdensome. Additionally, as of April 21, 2026, I have yet to receive any updates regarding what occurred during a court appearance in March. I have not been informed of upcoming court dates, nor have I received consistent communication from the office. Instead, I have had to repeatedly initiate contact myself just to obtain basic information about my case. The process server they utilized also took approximately four months to serve the tenant, causing significant delays. Even after service was finally completed in March, there has still been no clear communication regarding the status or progress of the case. To make matters worse, the process server reportedly left with keys to the building, which raises serious concerns regarding security and professionalism. I strongly encourage others to conduct thorough due diligence and not rely solely on online reviews. My experience highlights serious concerns regarding communication, efficiency, and overall service.
