"No one wanted any more". Just look at the crust. Had far better frozen pizza. Just not their thing.

We live in Norte Area of San Felipe. Needless to say we don't need to drive all the way to the Malecon for pizza. But seen the high reviews and wanted to try them out. Bad idea. Now maybe breakfast is their thing. Or burgers. But pizza is just terrible.

We would stop here early in the morning for coffee since we went to the bakery down the block so we just needed coffee to go with it and they didn't seem to mind us there. There are tables outside and we sat there and enjoyed our pastry and a good cup of coffee. I checked out the menu and would like to come back for a meal as it looked really tasty.

You couldn't really ask for more from breakfast in San Felipe. They are basically the only breakfast game in town that's open remotely early. Lots of gringos here, a big menu that offers breakfast, mexican, and pizza. Menu comes in english and spanish. Prices are super reasonable. If you're spending the night in San Felipe, you're probably gonna eat here.

I went to eat there only because it seemed to be one of the very few options in the area, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service: Very friendly and quick service. Menus are in english and spanish. I didn't hear the waitress speak any english, but I mostly heard english from the customers so I guess she at least somewhat understood it. The food: The portions are pretty big, I was with a group of 3 and none of us finished our plate. I ordered the machaca con huevo and it is the best I remember having, they definitely don't skimp on the meat which seems to be a common problem I find with machaca. If you don't like too much salt, you might want to ask them to go light on it though... for me it was perfect. The other two people in my group ordered an omelette and chilaquiles, they were both pleased with their meals. My husband also got a caramel frappuccino which I stole a sip of and it was very tasty. It was an overall great experience, the only downside might be that they don't take cards, but I fon't think many places in the area do anyway.

Chumpo's for breakfast did not disappoint! Got the Spanish omelet and blueberry pancakes and they were both amazing!

This place popped up to have the best ratings/reviews on google so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant faced the beach which was an amazing site to see after a 4 hour drive from Indio, CA. We ordered their fish tacos, shrimp ceviche, and tried their $1 oysters. Their fish tacos came out hot and fresh and they were soooo good. You can put as much of the toppings on top (the shredded lettuce, the pico, and their white and orange sauce). The shrimp ceviche was pretty good too as it was stacked with so much shrimp and they even gave you extra tostadas. As for the oysters, definitely pass on them because they were not fresh at all. Overall, this place had amazing fish tacos that we even came back a second time before heading back home. The fish tacos were only 30 pesos ($1.77 US)! What a steal :)

My third favorite Mariscos restaurant in San Felipe. This one has the best view on the malecon…read more Years past they have won the shrimp festival competition for best plate. The mango chipotle I believe is the one that took the prize. All options are good I haven't had anything that has been bad. I recommend the Campechena as personal favorite it includes oysters, shrimp, snails, octopus, clams, and scallops. They might throw other items in or remove depending on what is available. They normally have pata de mula or blood clams a great appetizer, I believe they translate to blood clams not sure. As an appetizer the agauachiles are always great. I spent a good $110 for 6 people they take debit cards such as visa, pesos, and dollars. There is dedicated parking in the front on the malecon and there is parking in the back a small parking area. For tourists and first time visitors this is the best place for you to visit.
