They have English and Chinese service and Sunday school, as well as programs for youth and children, as well as nursery. The people here are super welcoming and inviting. There are many opportunities to get to meet and talk with people, between 1st and 2nd service when there are snacks, and afterwards during lunch. Plus side- Chinese food (for a few dollars to cover catering price) for lunch, and snacks are free! There are many fun events throughout the year, which opportunities for this community to get together, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Graduation/Send-off etc, as well as a yearly retreat. Definitely have grown a lot in my knowledge of the Bible and my walk with God through my time here at this church the past couple years. They don't care about their congregation. This place does nothing for the community and will do nothing for you. Run Wife and I did…read morethis in 2016 At first a great experience...the weekends were great, energizing, and engaging. But after .... all I can say is stay away. Our groups really gave credence to the maxim: aint no hate like Christian love. I found out from my wife ... after the weekend we presented...that one of the guys in my group was sharing all details with his wife. Then his wife would repeat each witness, with names, and verbatim. The weekends were done and we were still in that glow. My daughter, then in HS, had an overdose ... attempted suicide... while she was in hospital we encouraged her to reach out to the church for prayer and counsel. We found out later that the parish secretary called two other attendees in my group about this. They didn't know (shame,guilt, and lack of trust ... it was their wife repeating all these witnesses). They said nothing to us, nor did our daughter. However, another started to leave notes in our mailbox. Unaddressed and unsigned... vaguely accusing the reader of some heinous sin. Of course, we didn't know daughter called for help, nor did we recognize the writing or the writer. To this day we don't know specifically who ... just that it was one of the men in my group. Another man in my group let us know that someone was praying...not for strength or healing ... but that their children didn't grow up like mine. That was 2018. My daughter has healed and continues therapy. But the damage is done. My daughter and son saw the letters (6 of them left in mailbox...all Unaddressed and unsigned...not even in envelopes). We all left the church... If this group preaches and teaches hate to the hurting, I want no part of them. And don't say it is only a small group or just our parish ... it's all these judgmental CRHP or Welcome groups... put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. If you're contemplating...stop, pay attention, and run as far away from this organization as you can.

I provided very well for her. She was raised in a house so she would have her own room and would be safe under my roof. Every night I thanked God for keeping her safe under my roof! But when she turned 20 she met a man, moved out of my house and all her attention went to him. She didn't allow me in her life. Because I had built my life around her when she left, I was devastated and knew for sure I would die from a broken heart. I was in such a deep depression. One Sunday after church they were having a festival and I walked around and found a booth about a retreat coming up, Christ Renews His Parish. By nature, I am very shy and reserved so it's difficult for me to be around people I don't know. But I was grasping at anything to help with my grief, so I attended the CRHP weekend. While I was there, I met a devoted woman I became friends with. When we met, she had a one-year-old daughter and was pregnant with her second child. Now, 10 years later she has 5 children who I adore, and I am so blessed to be part of their lives. My friend and her family gave me purpose when I lost it with my own family. I honestly believe CRHP saved my life! The poor reviews I have found talk about specific expectations they had prior to the retreat. I think it's important to keep an open mind with this event and trust God is working through the hands of the women who devote their time to present. I feel it's more about building relationships with attendees. Everyone needs people who care in their lives, and it meant so much to me that all the women who attended my weekend were beautiful and accepting. I believe even today they would be there for me if I needed anything. Isn't this what love and family (family in the church) is about?

I visited today and enjoyed a midsummer morning with just a few other families -- and maybe a few…read moretoo many Yankee fans (kidding). Plenty of free parking, with plates from Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and even Massachusetts. The most striking thing was the quiet. My ears didn't know what to do with it. A cool breeze moves through that part of the land, and long rows of old trees make the whole place feel like fresh air is a forgotten luxury. A recent reviewer mentioned the tiny weeds between some of the memorial bricks, but I didn't mind them at all. Summer in this part of Ohio is short, and seeing a few flowers pushing up through the bricks felt like a reminder of how lucky I am to be here to notice them. Ohioans have strong opinions about Canada geese, but they're protected under the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act. I stepped carefully along the left path to the statue -- those birds keep you alert -- but slowing down meant I noticed the memorial tags on the Rosary lights around the pond. As we stood in front of the statue, a dozen geese lifted off the lawn and landed on the water with perfect precision. Very picturesque. We took the north path back and weren't bothered at all. There are smaller statues along the way, each one nudging you to slow down a bit more. The gift shop is AIR CONDITIONED, and you might find something worth taking home. It's not as far as I expected -- a nice drive through tree‑lined countryside and beautiful homes. There are a few nearby stops if you want to make a day of it. We checked out the Goodwill and I scored a ginger jar for under four bucks. And I'm pretty sure I spotted a Dairy Queen not too far down the road.

Very disappointed to see how our lady was respected. The weeds around her are awful. The bricks…read morethat were donated, you can't even see some due to weeds. There were memorial stones that were just laid against the fence and you had to pull the weeds back to see the donor. The flowers that were left were not attended to. Some extremely old and dead. The candles that could be lit were melting in the sun due to no protection. There were a couple dollar bills laying in with the bricks and not sure where they came from. Walking the cement trail to visit our lady was not good. The ducks had pooped all over and you couldn't avoid it. Maintenance could have helped that. Now we did notice a beautiful renovation with the rosary surrounding St. Michael. That was so so nice. I would hope that there will be renovations or simple maintenance to respect our lady. Disrespect to donors as well with quite a few donator signs being broke off with the lighted rosary. The little chapel for the children had a memorial sign out front and the weeds were so high you couldn't read the whole sign. It was a very disappointing 2 hour trip that left us wondering what was more important there. Was it our lady, the other events they have or the owners story. The owners were driving around the grounds and stopped us more than once to tell us about the festival and story. Also, when we were at the statue the owner drove right up and told us about the memorial wall they started. What I really wanted to say, is why can't you simply clean up what have? Thank you for the bringing our lady to Windsor just hope that she can be a lot more respected. I would not recommend to my parish to take a field trip. Sadly.
