She said she could do it and verified that I sent her all the data. I waited and waited, no action, no contact, no response. I begged Dept of Revenue to give me more time because of her delay. She missed two more deadlines and said she'd deal with DoR to keep them from penalizing me. Her reasons included Illness in the family, death in the family, but gave me yet another month of silence. I have been completely understanding and polite through all of this. I finally called Van Barron, her boss, to beg for action. He refused to speak with me. FOUR MONTHS and I still don't have the tax form done. DoR is after me. This firm totally sucks!!! Redmond even screwed up the tax returns of the person who recommended her to me this year. These lawyers will say what they need to in the moment during your consultation to give the perception they are going to put forth effort into your case, they will not. There was several things they told me they were going to peruse in my case that never actually happened. In addition, they are highly unprofessional and do not care about your time. For example, they submitted a continuance on my case because "they needed a vacation." In addition, they also forgot to ask for my permission about this or inform me. I ended up taking a day of PTO and appeared at the court house, only to find out my case had been moved back several additional months. This was despite them knowing time was of the essence for me. They offered to reimburse me for my time, but never followed through or mentioned it again. This was just one of several issues throughout the almost year long process my case took with them. Speaking with others, it seems like there has been a recent downturn in quality and my experience has been common amongst many others recently.
