The lady taking my call was very professional and empathetic, she said she would try her best to get someone out today if at all possible. Within 2 hours I got a call from a technician (Dave) letting me know he was on the way. Wow! I was shocked. Dave arrived exactly when he said he would. He immediately began diagnosing the problem. He found a gadget called an "Add-A-Wire" which he had never seen before. He ran a few tests and determined that gadget was the problem. Within minutes he had the A/C back on cooling the house down. We paid a minimal service call fee (I would have paid triple what they charged me!) Wow, I was prepared to spend a miserable night in the heat and possibly all weekend as well. Dave was super-efficient and competent. We were so pleased. This is not the first time we have called on Sinclair; but it is fastest service and repair we have ever experienced. Sinclair has always done right by us, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are a local family run business that still knows how to treat their customers right. And NO...I am not related to anyone at Sinclair, and I DID NOT receive any form of compensation from them for this review! It's just that in today's climate, good customer service and competent technicians is not "normal."

Sinclair paid for all of that and to paint entire ceiling. Painter never came to see how it looked after. Also didn't cover everything. We spent hours cleaning paint off counter tops, cabinets, and floor tile. They also got paint down on walls. I went to Sinclair with pictures. Manager was out and staff said he would call me. I never received a call so we were left cleaning the mess and I will have to Paint the walls where they let the rollers hit the walls.

This is a follow-up to my previous review. I called another…read moreplumber regarding my water tank. As it turns out, the work performed previously was shoddy. According to the plumber that repaired my tank, Leak-Tek had used the wrong wire nuts and the wires were loose and arcing. Not only did this keep my tank from working, this could have led to a fire that could have destroyed my home. In addition, the same parts that were replaced by Leak-Tek had to be replaced again. Upon inspection by the plumber, the parts Leak-Tek installed were not OE parts even though it was a warranty repair. I have not had any problems since the legitimate plumbing professional serviced my tank. Be careful with who you choose to do repairs in your home.

This was my mom's house before she died, and we had a list of issues that needed our attention…read more There was the backed up shower drain in one end of the house and very low hot water pressure at the other end of the house. In between were a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal that needed to be replaced. I started to call the plumber my mom had used for years (NOT Holland), but I things they had told my mom in the past made me leery about using them. I called my cousin, who managed Lubbock apartments most of her career, for a recommendation. She said to call Donnie Holland's Plumbing. I am so glad I did. They were wonderful. The kitchen faucet and garbage disposal were done in almost no time. They quickly figured out where the shower clog was and cleared it. The low hot water pressure was a tricker problem. They spent a couple of hours diagnosing why the pressure in the back bathroom was so low and how to fix it. It was the end of the day by the time they finished diagnosing the problem. They said they would come back today and run a new hot water line. They were here by ten this morning and were done in about two hours. They ran a new hot water line the full length of the house, from the hot water heater to the far bathroom. They had to remove the things in the bathroom linen closet and under the bathroom sink to access what they needed. When they left I couldn't tell they had been here. Everything was back its place, tidy and clean. They even put insulation on the new pipe before they left. I couldn't be happier! I will call Holland's the next time I need a Lubbock plumber.
