When I attempted to receive status of a refund, the agent was rude and condescending. In May my daughter cancelled her vehicle coverage, and she was told that she was expected to get a check in the mail. Weeks passed, she made multiple calls before being instructed to email the agent. We're in July, and as her mother, I'd naturally want to enquire about the status of her refund. The individual made a comment assuming I wouldn't hear it. When I replied with "Oh my god what?", she accused me of being disrespectful and claimed she couldn't speak to me because I wasn't the policy holder. She was aware that my daughter was on the line; my daughter responded that she had made several efforts; the individual in question then urged her to contact the agency on her own and she hung up. Being in this industry myself, I acknowledge how aggravating it can be to deal with customers. In the future, I hope the agency provides more customer service training to guarantee consumers are treated with respect.
