Worst billing experience! Don't put your card on file here. They upped their annual membership fee. I never received any communication in regard to that. Not only that, but when I asked for it to be refunded and to cancel my membership they informed me they couldn't send me ANY sort documentation reflecting either one via email. They told me the best they could do is take a "screenshot" of the cancellation and the refund of the annual fee and email it to me. Still haven't received that email. I guess I will add it on my list of things to do tomorrow calling them and asking AGAIN to send me at least a screenshot for my records. Maybe tomorrow I will be successful. AWFUL. read more

AV system is really bad. The Tunity app doesn't work with this locations bad wifi. The new early morning morning crew is not trained well. The CNN TV (#7) has local CBS channel. Despite requesting for a week it be changed back. The new early morning crew didn't seem to know how to change it. There is local CBS on 3 TVs. Why so many? Two TVs have no connectivity right now. Finally, Chuze lost over 1000 of my loyalty points last summer and the manger promised to fix it and she never has, despite my numerous reminders. It is really disappointing now although it used to be great. I chose this gym because of the classes and the fact they had a kids club so I can actually attend the classes. Chuze Fitness I've belonged to Chuze for a few years now, but since moving down to this Highlands Ranch location I'm increasing agitated with this location experience. The music is TOO LOUD. I've written corporate. I've spoken to the desk multiple times. For some reason they are not getting it. The four recreation centers in Highlands Ranch get it right, their music is a perfect volume. The Westminster Chuze gets it, their music is a perfect volume (when I visit that location time to time). Highlands Ranch Chuze continues to make theirs too loud. One cannot enjoy their own music or audiobooks in headphones because the overhead music pipes in right over it. Not only that, they are now predominantly playing modern digital type of high pitched vocal music which is increasingly annoying. I wish management would visit the local Highlands Ranch recreation centers and see what gym music volume should be. For compliments, yes, the facility is clean. Props to Ava who always appears working very hard every time I am there I see her on the move. Please lower the music Chuze Highlands Ranch. Please visit the rec centers to see how low you should be having it to not interfere with people's earbuds experience. Most folks, I've noticed, have earbuds in anyway. read more

Love this gym. However, one staff member in particular: tall, extremely tatted, curly haired gentleman, follows me around everywhere. He then waits until he can get on me about breaking gym rules. First it was about having my bag out on the floor, which I was in the process of putting away in a locker. He did not approach anyone else about having their bag on the floor. Yesterday the same staff member confronted me about why I didn't rack my weights? This was when I was in the locker room getting ready to leave. He found me & told me it was very "disrespectful." I had honestly forgotten to put them away. I had done 8 exercises and re-racked all my weights before that for my last set. This gym does have a problem with people not putting weights away. I am always happy to put away anything when approached & respectfully asked-but this was passive aggressive & immature. What feels "very disrespectful" to me is isolating one of the only minorities who frequent your establishment. The lack of an inclusive & respectful environment from the staff is a major reason why I will no longer be coming back to this location. To my fellow BIPOC gym goers: I would think twice about working out here. They'll make sure you feel like you don't belong. read more

I'm afraid to post this 5 star as I don't want everyone to go here, I like that it's not the most popular gym! We've been going for about a month and it's ridiculous. They have everything! I love the pool, The cardio and weight/ stretching area. It's all great! They're approach to friendly gym for anyone is spot on!! The staff is friendly and helpful (even when accidentally forget your code to the locks.. that was a friend, not me). My kids love the kid area and it's SO affordable!! My ONLY feedback is : we did one of the team trainings- Sam was spectacular as a coach, great workout, but sometimes it's a little hard to hear the instructions over the music for a newbie. It is with an extremely heavy heart that I write this updated review. This Chuze has been a bright shiny beacon of a gym. A shiny star in a dark night. The staff, the community, the cleanliness, the equipment. Truly out of this world. This all started to change around a year ago. It started with a trickle of high schoolers. A few new faces would come in. For the most part very nice, level-headed kids who wanted to become stronger. Now let's fast forward a year. This is your average night at this location, I mean literally 5pm-10pm. The entire time most people can go after work. You arrive at the gym, you will then spend 30-60mins waiting for one piece of equipment as groups of 4-6 high schoolers stand around it, not exercising. They are texting, screaming at each other, hooting and hollering. It feels like you're at the zoo watching gorillas in heat, but you're not at a zoo, you're at the gym, trying to lift. These high schoolers could care less if you wait another hour, they are completely oblivious, or rude, honestly don't know which is worse. I've been going to this location for about 3 years and have made some absolutely incredible friends here, however most of them have cancelled their memberships and switched gyms, I am just about there with them. Chuze has become a high school social club, it is a complete nightmare if you're trying to train. It really sucks, I loved this gym. The staff needs to start monitoring these kids and kicking them off the equipment after a certain period of time. One more note about this, these kids have this amazing trick where you'll be standing their waiting for equipment for 30+ mins and the group of 4 will suddenly have a 5th join them. Then he starts using the equipment and then 3 of his friends walk over and the original 4 leave and you're stuck waiting ANOTHER 30 mins. I remember very clearly during covid the amount of times the staff yelled at me for when my mask went below my nose doing sets. They had eyes like hawks. Yet they have seemingly turned a blind eye to this problem and allow it to happen. I cannot recommend this gym anymore and if something doesn't change, I am out baby. To the staff, I love you all, you're great. The management has to take the reigns otherwise this gym will become an after-hours high school daycare. read more

Absolutely incredible staff. Came in, disappointed to find my favorite pre workout was out of stock(not their fault it was late in the day) and before I could ask about anything else. This massive shredded worker Clint asked if i needed some pre-workout. Then without skipping a beat he sprints to the employee lounge to grab me some. Two heaping scoops later and I'm back on my grindset with a bellowing "hell yeah brother" from my boy Clint before knocking out several PRs. If I could give 0 stars I would. I joined chuze in May of 2021. Was able to use my membership for 2 months before I ended up having to have emergency surgery. My account was put on a freeze which I was told had no specific end date and I haven't been back to a chuze since. Received a charge for an annual fee in May of 2022, the manager today was less than helpful and told me I must have come out of a freeze for my account to be charged and they would not be refunding my annual fee to me even though I still cannot get back into the gym. I was a member of Equinox in CA. That gym was nice. But this gym is WAY nicer... and I have a $21/month membership instead of $200. They have yoga, cycling, strength training, and barre classes. Plus a super nice facility, including infrared sauna and hydro massage. And everyone there is NICE. Like overly nice, but in a good way. Looking for treadmills, strength training equipment, ellipticals, and bikes? They have tons. All under large TVs set to different channels. Also, if you're considering going to another location, Highlands Ranch is the best. They have tons more amenities than the Englewood location. The only thing they lack is the refrigerated eucalyptus towels that Equinox has, but I think I'll survive. read more

Staff is terrible. Every time I come in seems to be an entirely new group of people doesn't look like they can keep anybody longer than a week these days. The only person that seems to be sticking around is this god awful Insufferable little girl Nicki or (sha-day) im not sure what her name is she keeps changing it. In fact she rudely corrected me on that when I politely asked her to use one of their hydro massage beds. How was I supposed to know she had a different name? What will it be next week? She keeps harassing me every time I come in. One morning she rudely told me to put my bag away and I didn't know that was even a rule. Anyway I respectfully put my bag away but that doesn't seem to be enough for her. She circles around the gym following me around eyeing me down as if shes looking for some sort of trouble (daily) making me extremely uncomfortable. Mind you I've done nothing to provoke her. She consistently calls me "Bud and Buddy" in a very belittling tone after I already asked her to stop addressing me that way. And to top it off on my way out one morning I clearly over hear her snickering with one of her little friends that was working out mentioning something about my "white privilege" I'm not sure how this woke world works these days but I'm pretty sure that's discrimination but what does my "white privilege" know? Haha. All the good people seem to have walked out the door it's a shame this company can't keep anybody decent anymore. Moving forward I've cancelled my membership and switched to Planet Fitness across the street where there are no high schoolers and the staff is respectful and kind. read more

We joined the Chuze family 2 years ago. Have never made a better choice! Not only are their prices amazing but the staff are the nicest people! The building is always clean and I never feel judged in this space. It's worth getting the top package deal for everything they have to offer. Tanning and hydro beds are great. Also they love our kids and our kids love the kids club! The only complaint I've ever had was wishing that they were open 24 hours on the weekends. read more

I'm very disappointed in this company, our military veterans including myself spend years away missing out on our families lives to make sure the freedom in this country is held up. companies like this tell you, yes you cancel over email, you cancel and hear nothing back assuming you're good, then they charge you and tell you your email a written form of document is not a valid form of a signature. it's amazing how these companies scam and nickel and dime our people and we allow it to happen. Being a premium member is worth a decision. Customer service is impeccable, facilities are kept clean and functional, exercises equipment for utilization is modern and fully sanitized, and most of all, the relaxation room is like ZEN to Nth power personified! They also have movie rooms incorporated into their select- exercise rooms for those who prefer a cozier, less-populated exercise floor. Oh, the juices and smoothies they have on sale for their patrons are delicious!!! I have been to other fitness facilities, but nothing beats ChuzeFitness. So my husband and I just moved here and with Covid 19 we were reallyyy excited to find a gym that was open that we could go too. We did the free day pass and actually really liked the space! It was clean and had a lot to offer. I came back the next day to sign up and was asking questions about the different membership packages and what they entailed. None of them really felt like the best package for me but I wanted to be here, liked the gym and and was excited to get a solid lift in. $9.99 was locked into a year plan with the one location. Understandably with fees if you cancel or move and decide to break the 12 mo contract. (Side note- we are looking for a house so that played a factor and mo to mo just made more sense just in case). There was a $15 package that's month to month along with other packages that were a little out of budget for what we needed and looking looking for gym wise. There's was also a $50 annual fee after 3 months. Knowing that, I decided to pick the $15/mo so I can at least see where we end up and possibly upgrade later. Tyler was helping me with some of the questions to help me pick the best one in my situation. When I told him what package I wanted ($15/mo) he said, "Great! But by the way if you use a credit card it's an extra $20 today to sign up. Or, you can do direct deposit with no fee. (Fine- I get it you don't want late fees etc as a business) So I still proceeded with the package. Then I remembered the other larger packages annual fee amount. I asked, "Is there an annual fee for this package too? The sign didn't say it did, but I want to check." "Oh yeah, there is and it's $50 charge too." So, that's good to know. . Anyways, I avoid the $20 credit card fee and give him my back info and put my card in to be charged the $15. After the card was in and run, he said "oh and it's a $19 enrollment fee. " I looked at him like, what..? Confused I said. "I didn't know that." He said, "Oh, you didn't know that? I said "no.. you didn't tell me that, wow you guys are sneaky..." He acted like he was surprised.. "We'll, I could maybe not charge you and you can do it at a different time." "No, I want to work out. Let's just do it I guess..." And in my mind I'm like yeah, I'm def not continuing after this. If the financial conversation had been honest from the beginning without me having to ask all these hidden questions I probably would have respected it and the extra charges would have been no problem at all. I understand extra fees happen and shit but just let me know straight up- not after you charge me and keep out the info deliberately and then act like it was a surprise to you too. Honestly, I'm annoyed and feel a little cheated. It's not about the money as much now as it is the principal ya know? Iv'e worked at the front desk for the public for my adult career and I've done many financial conversations and know they can be tough, but most people will respect someone being honest and straight up with them about what stuff entails. I am NOT one to come on Yelp at all because I understand things happen behind the desk and you do the best you can. But, if this is how you sign up new members CHUZ- I will not be referring you or continuing. Financial honesty means something to some people , especially with times as they are now. Just be real. This place is so overrun with high school kids just hanging out. I watched for 20 minutes for one particular machine to open up while a high school kid sat ion it talking to a girl for at least 20 minutes. At any given time there are kids just sitting staring at there phone and no this isn't the 30 or 60 second rest between sets. This evening I walked up to 4 different machines to use that had kids taking selfies, texting, or talking to their friends. I feel like I am at an high school function instead of a gym for a actual workout! Please chuze get a handle on this. Other than this, your facility is awesome! read more
