Ciao Bella is a cute, sunny salon. I took my daughter there for a trim and some layers for her thick wavy hair. The stylist spent very little time on the haircut--I watched the whole time and it seemed she wasn't paying that much attention. Including cut and blowout it took maybe 20 minutes? When I got home I saw my daughter's hair was a full 2 inches longer on one side. This salon has a lot of 5 star reviews so maybe it's better for adults. read more

One of the worst salons i have ever been to. It was dirty. There was hair everywhere. Looked like it has never been mopped or wiped. And then on top of that, the hair dresser completely messed up my hair. Not sure how she gave me red brassy hair when I've always had brunette. Got my haircut for the first time ever at Ciao Bella and I have to say - the entire experience was amazing! First of all, I'm new to the area and visiting Ciao Bella was my first time in Ridgefield. Driving through the beautiful town as I made my way to the salon really set the tone for the experience I was about to have. Although the physical location was a little hard to find (mainly because I wasn't familiar with the area) I was so happy when I realized there was ample free parking. Upon walking in to the salon I was greeted by the friendly and warm receptionist and asked to fill out a two page but simple questionnaire. I could tell right from there that this salon takes customer service and their environment very seriously. I felt welcomed and pampered even after the first two minutes. When approached by my designer Chelsea, I again received an extremely warm welcome and an authentic 'I'm so happy you came in today!'. She walked me up to her chair (the salon is a little small but I think they did an amazing job situating all of the stations and really maximized their space for comfort and functionality). What really impressed me about this experience was Chelsea's ability to make a connection with me, listen to and execute perfectly what I wanted from this haircut, and meticulously explained all of the products/processes she was using on my hair and why. Again, from start to finish I could really tell this salon strives to make their clients comfortable and to have an unparalleled experience. So needless to say, the hour I spent there was the best salon experience I've ever had. I highly recommend Ciao Bella and especially Chelsea for a wash/cut/blow dry. I absolutely love this salon!! The people are so nice, place is very clean and I always get a great cut.

My hair was in absolute shambles when I came here to see Chelsea and she went above and beyond to fix my hair. I call her my "hair angel." Even though it was her first day at the salon as a stylist, she made me feel comfortable, was confident and professional and made suggestions to me based on my current hair color. She made sure to take what I wanted and tailored it to work with my hair and style. We ended up with a balyage and it came out absolutely perfect. I highly recommend going to see Chelsea for anything from color to updos, but she's exceptional at balyage! The whole staff here is very friendly and accommodating. read more

Monika took time to describe the best process (highlights) and was meticulous in understanding my desires for my cut and color. The first time that I went, the stylist messed up the highlights in one section near the front -- she said, "oops I didn't wash that part out. You'll have a patch there." She made no attempt to fix it, and of course I paid top price for an ERROR. I decided to give her another shot, and rescheduled for much sooner than I usually do with highlights. She made additional errors, so it was spotted near the roots. And when I went back to my old stylist to get it fixed, he also showed me how bad the cut was in the back -- she chopped a section out of the back -- is that supposed to be "layers"? Seriously, I don't know why this place gets such good reviews. It's Supercuts quality at expensive prices. read more

I visited this salon for the first time three weeks ago (3/2017) and Chelsea cut my hair. When you walk in as a new client, they ask you to fill out a brief survey about your hair, how much time you spend on it, your likes / dislikes about it, etc. Similar to a wholistic doctor; they want to learn the history / background. I brought a couple of example photos and we discussed the plan briefly. Best cut of my life. No joke. She knew how to hide my flaws (the cowlick* on the crown of my head no longer makes the hairs there lay flat; they spring up and out!) and accentuate the positives. I wear my hair both curly (natural) and straight, parted down the center and to either side up and down and it looks great ALL THE TIME. She knew just what to do. Leslie is THE best hair stylist in Ridgefield hands down! I've always struggled with fine hair and cowlicks, yet Leslie has never failed to give me a flattering cut that looks great LONG after I leave the salon (even with my busy lifestyle that leaves no time for fussing with my hair.). She's a true pro, in every sense of the word! Also, the new location is beautiful... A great place to relax! The bonus? Ciao Bella's prices are extremely reasonabe to boot! I have gotten my hair done by every hair dresser at this salon and every time I've left incredibly happy with my results, from color, cut, to styling! My 2.5 year old son is quite apprehensive about hair cuts. I have no idea why, but at this salon he was cool as a cucumber. Leslie gave him a great cut and he really liked her. I went in for just a regular haircut at 5:15pm and didn't end up leaving the salon til 7:45pm. Almost a 3 hour haircut and the girl cutting my hair seemed very "inexperienced" and young. She told me she was 18 years old. 3 hours for a haircut. It has never taken me more than 45 min to an hour to get my haircut at any other salon ever. Needless to say, I spoke to the owner of the salon the next day and told her about the 3 hour haircut and she didn't seem to care at all about my time. Needless to say, I will not be going back there for any kind service. I will stick with my normal salon that I got to in town. And after speaking to the owner, Diana, the next day she left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and refused to credit me back half of my service or just the extra $20 charge it cost me to get my hair dried there.... My blow out never happened... I left with wavy hair just like i went in with. Poor customer service in my opinion and not the way it should have been handled. read more
