We had a great time checking out Cibo & Vines. The food was so delicious and the service was so friendly. It's an absolute gem here in Peachland. I definitely would come back again.

Wanting a chill spot with a great veiw? My first time here and had dinner with hubby and my sister…read more& her partner as they were in town for a few days and Peachland was a great place on a quiet sunday evening. It's small inside so made a reservation . We got there early and got seated quickly. Our server let us know that the patio table finished and paid so when the party left she would seat us outside . We looked at the nenu while waiting for my sib - everything looked really good! The salads were tempting and the burgers/handhelds had a variety of proteins. Our server told us what was out and new items. All I heard was yellowfin tuna with sesame crust and made it one of my choices as a $23 tuna steak burger was a fantastic deal! once everyone was seated we watched the the outdoor party for sign of movement - I think they took 1/2 hr to finally go but our server took our orders already but we got moved. It was so nice out there! ordered drinks and chatted until the food arrived. I ordered the tuna burger with 1/2 fries and salad, hubby ordered the same but with fries, sis ordered the prawn salad and bil had the chicken salad but wanted salmon instead ( he got a lovey filet) . The tuna was crusted and seared and rare inside- a thick piece so the bun got squashed and it had pineapple with teriyaki sauce - luckily the teriyaki sauce was not overpowering at all and i just pulled the pineapple ring out. The green salad was out so had caesar salad - but i should have had the dressed romaine greens as there was a lot of dressing and cheese in bottom of bowl. Fries were thin, crispy and should have just had those instead! The prawn salad had lots of big prawns and i didn't try it but other than the bread on the side, my sister enjoyed it and polished it off. The bil dug into his salmon salad and was happy with the sub and cleaned up his plate. Our server was great - very friendly and attentive. My sister asked for a nonalcoholic drink that was fruity and fizzy and she got that! She had a great sense of humour and took care of us until it was time to leave ( they were closing soon too) I'll come back to try the salad and new menu items?

Our initial order-taking and food came at a decent time but after that, the follow up was really slow. My husband commented he would have had a second beer if the server had actually checked in with us. It also took him a long time to get the bill and pay. Otherwise, my only other complaint was the our table was super sticky.

Passing through the area for work. This rating is for my experience…read more My food was very tasty at a great portion and price and my waitress Leann? was an angel. I'm giving a low score due to the fact that I feel this establishment is heavily discriminatory of people of color. When speaking to locals I had met. They all agreed. I was passing through Kelowna on a work trip and this location and golf course was near my hotel. So I decided to walk over as I was excited since I frequent driving ranges and courses. When I walked in the door, immediately I was stared at like I didn't belong there. Of course 95% of wait/hostess staff were white/white passing. I asked to sit on the patio because there was a great view. There were multiple 2 and 4 tops available. I was sat at a huge table at the very back away from the view as not to be intermixed with all the white diners that were all seated forward towards the view. I was there drinking and dining for almost 2 hours and none of those tables had diners. So the excuse that they were "reserved" isn't valid. I was gawked at by wait staff and just stared at. It was not a great feeling. When I spoke to friends and other locals of the area. They all confirmed that's exactly what was happening as they had heard the same from other people. If you're a person of color STAY AWAY. This was absolutely the most uncomfortable I felt within the entire western half of Canada. As I've gone through A LOT of cities and Provinces. I didn't event get a chance to do the driving range on the property because I was so uncomfortable with it all. I would've preferred to be turned away versus sitting there being treated this way. Locals then recommended multiple other options where I may be more accepted. Again food was tasty but seeing myself and the only other table of color being tucked away out of site truly left a horrible taste in my mouth.
