It took Murray 3 hours to deliver a sauceless cracker garbage pizza. Never again. The menu looks absolutely delicious and robust, but from ordering we learned that even simple pizzas were nearly impossible for Murray to fulfill properly. It took 3 calls and at least 3 hours for a few pizzas to arrive 8 minutes from their west bank location. If I were Murray, there would be no way I would put my name on the horrendous food and service his people prepare in his name. Murray should be ashamed and his West Bank store should be turned into a Blockbuster, because it's likely more useful. read more

Let me tell you about our latest experience and why my rating is now a 1 star (I wish zero was an option). I waited in store for 1 hr after placing my order. "It's not quite ready" "they are just cutting it up". Only to be handed the wrong pizza. Turned around and gave it back. "We'll make another and give you 10% off your next order". Cooked another pizza - wrong again - and it wasn't completely cooked. There are too many pizza joints around to screw up this badly - and mine wasn't the only one I saw during my waiting period. Anytime when you have not one, not two, but 3 company cars, all with decals and nicely marketed, means to me that you're doing well, take care of your name, which means you also take care of the pizza that you make ;) They're also in social media. 6-0.. since moving to West Kelowna I have had Murray's Pizza six times and I have been impressed each and every time. We have tried every other pizza option on the west side and everything fails in comparison. The pizza is indescribably decadent. The prices are better than most and competitive with the rest. Their pasta is good for what it is. My recommendation is the Classic Pepperoni and the Hawaiian Deluxe (I know, I know, I'm a sucker for the classics).. if you're in West kelowna and in the mood for a slice then look no further. read more

Had this pizza last night omg so good!!! It's been awhile since we got a pizza with good amount of toppings and awsome crust! we ordered the chicken wings as well bbq...(so good) and hot ( was not spicy at all we added outlet own) and teriyaki (good) only thing is the chicken it self was over cooked very dried out. Did not enjoy this meal and actually tossed it out. Pour quality ingredients on a frozen crust. Pepperoni looks like processed salami and hidden under the cheese. Lasagna just more of the same cheap ingredients over noodles. Ribs half rack for one a single portion and salad dressing is in packets from Hellman's, really! This was our second time ordering from Murray's and the second time something went wrong. The first time was so minor that, on its own, isn't worth a write up. They simply forgot a topping on a 4-topping pizza. No big deal. I called them and they gave me a credit, which was appreciated. Our second order tonight, also placed online, resulted in me sitting and waiting for my pizza for 18 minutes. If I had walked in off the street and ordered, I would have waited 20 minutes! Customers order online and pick it up themselves SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO WAIT. It utterly defeats the purpose when you make the customer wait. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't be as put out by this, but tonight I was on a tight schedule, so 18 minutes (especially when you're really hungry), was 17 minutes and 30 seconds too long. To add insult to injury, I expected a piping hot pizza when I got home 10 minutes later. What I found was a just-a-bit-more-than-warm pizza which appeared to have been sitting out for a bit before they gave it to me. I can't say for sure that as the case, but it sure looked and tasted like it. In general, the pizza was ok. Nothing to write home about, but slightly better than average. The "thick" crust (vs. thin - you pick when you order) seemed pretty thin to me. Not what I expected. The toppings were good and fresh and there was a decent amount. Unfortunately, the service is really where they fell short, in my opinion. If you're busy and it's longer than 20 minutes for a pick up order, as indicated on your website, say that. Tell the customer "wait times may vary". If the customer has to call and ask what the wait time is, again, it defeats the purpose of having an online ordering system. We'll try one more time, mostly because we have a credit. If that doesn't go well, then that'll be it for Murray's for us. read more

Sad. The pizza from Murrays is good, but my last order I received a pizza that was not what I ordered, that was a less expensive pizza. The staff are not allowed to fix this, and did not offer to reimburse me the difference, but to give me 15% off the next order.The manager then called and said they would send the correct pizza, but to make sure we hand back the original. (Later found out this was not the manager, was the kid I spoke to originally pretending to be the manager) So we get our pizza we ordered hours later. I wish I could order from them again as the pizza is good, but this kind of service turns me off. Fair warning, buyer beware. read more

This is our experience and my opinion on murrays in westbank based on our experience. We were at a friends house and we decided to order pizza at our kids request. We ordered four mediums. When it was delivered (took almost an hour) our host for the night was eating his pizza and pulled a LONG hair that was baked in the cheese out of his pizza (and mouth) When we called to complain they did not care about the hair and offered us a credit , which we did not take! I am very disappointed in the service I received when I made a call to the Westbank Murray's Pizza to let them know that the wings I picked up were not what I ordered and to let them know that some of the wings were under cooked. The shift manager? took my call and grudgingly agreed to deliver a new order of the wings to my door but this time they were grossly over seasoned and grossly overcooked and just not suitable to eat. We recently had the pleasure of Murray's Pizza and Pasta opening in Peachland by the same owners of the Gosset Road location, replacing the Canadian 2 for 1 we had in our little strip mall on Hwy 97. In recent months we have had their pizza probably 3 or 4 times, including once at the Gosset Road location, after trying it for the first time in Peachland, (My mom lives in Westbank and lives very close to their location there but had never tried it). If you are looking for a pizza, you will not be disappointed! The pizza is wonderful, lots of toppings, crust is great, always nice and hot. BUT a couple of weeks ago my mom decided to come to Peachland to visit and told us she would stop and bring us something to eat. She thought maybe pizza, so she stopped into Murray's and at the last minute decided to order 2 lasagna, garlic toast and the salad. She sat and waited for the order which probably took 10 or 15 minutes to cook and brought it to the house, which is literally a 5 minute drive from their shop. When she brought it in, as we were opening it, she said, the lady told me she stuck in another piece of garlic toast, which my mom said, "that was so nice of her". Well when we took the garlic toast out of the bag, we could see why. The other two slices were burnt black. When we tucked into the lasagna, we were super disappointed, it was barely warm. At which point I asked my mom if she had gotten the order here in Peachland, or had brought it from Westbank, as I thought perhaps it had cooled down on the drive from Westbank. No she had ordered it right here in Peachland, so no excuses there. The salad was just a bunch of limp iceburg lettuce, terrible. All I had to go on was when this was Canadian 2 or 1 their lasagna, salad and toast was always hot, fresh and wonderful. So I decided to call the folks down at the shop and to let them know. I very nicely told the lady on the phone that the lasagna was just barely warm, her response was " Well I burned my hand on it when I took it out of the oven, so I know it was hot" Then I mentioned the lettuce was very limp and not fresh. Her response to that was "Well I hand tore that myself" She had no response to the burnt bread. I very quickly realized she did not care one way or the other as to if we enjoyed our food or not, whether it was hot or cold or burnt. So I just hung up in disbelief that is how she would handle such a situation. All I could think of was, WHO takes food out of an oven with your bare hands anyway, when you saw the bread was burned, why in the world would you not throw it away and do two more pieces of garlic toast, it is bread, two pieces, how much could that really be, AND by "hand tearing the lettuce yourself" does that make it fresh, could you not "hand tear" limp lettuce as well. Bottom line, someone needs a lesson in their customer service/problem resolution skills. AND word to the wise, stay away from the lasagna and stick to their wonderful pizza. We never mind how much we pay for our food, but I want it to be good, as well as hot! read more
