We never had a problem all year and I feel super comfortable when my daughter is there. I'm pretty over protective so I'm glad I found something that works till I get off work. The main guy, Charles, is a great dude. Friendliest as can be. Helps with any questions and really works with you . I love everybody there and they treat my daughter amazingly. I can't say enough on how much I recommend this place for the summer programs and after school programs. I'm sure they do an awesome job with the other extra curricular activities as well. If you have an opportunity and thinking about joining, I definitely would recommend this place because of the friendly staff. Most if not all of the supervisor staff does not seem too thrilled with their position, not helpful, and look upset or bored out of their mind. The staff leaders are just ok. I think if they had better supervisor's running the place maybe you could expect more but it is just so so. I did not feel they did as good of a job with the kids that Taylor ranch did. My kids along with my friend's children did not care for it too much, some days they did not want to go at all. People working the front desk are almost always less than knowledgeable and never know what is going on or give out the wrong information.

I finally decided to visit my local senior center to see what it had to offer. I waited to take my…read morevisit during a time (2-3pm) that I assumed would not be busy. And it wasn't. One gentleman was sitting in the lobby. Not knowing a thing about what this center provides for seniors, I approached the window where I assumed the staff would answer questions about their services. A woman was behind the window, working on a task of some sort. I asked her kindly to tell me a little bit about what they do. She barely looked up to respond to my question, pointed at a large bulletin board and told me everything they do is posted on that board. Then she went back to whatever she was doing. Maybe I went on a bad day. Maybe the Highland Senior Center is a top-notch facility that does great things for old people like me. Who knows? But if the people who work there are not interested in providing information, engaging, or answering specific questions for those for whom the facility is intended to help, why go there? At least I know now not to waste my time there.
