Ambiance hasn't really changed in the past 20 years minus the arcade section expansion, but not much to talk about if they are unplayable lol. Got there right before 12 Noon. So there should have been enough pizza and pasta out for the lunch crowd. Unfortunately, the salad bowl was almost empty, there were only 3 pizzas on the buffet and only 1/3 left of the breadsticks. They were super slow replenishing and while I was there never got more breadsticks out nor was the buffet 'filled with food' as the commercials suggest. The pasta was probably leftovers from last night, the edges were dried up and in all it was mushy. In order to get a to-go cup, one must purchase the large size cup. Nothing to write home about but a very clean and well run restaurant. The employees were friendly and efficient and kept the buffet supplied with pizzas. I had a special order pizza made and was happy with the result. When I arrived a couple of school buses were unloading and the personal kept the pizzas coming with hardly any delay. read more

All right peeps...let's get one thing straight....I love this place and come often but, tonight, I came in and it was absolutely horrible. The cashier/manager....I think her name was Brittany or something like that...blond chick, RUDE. I swear, she had a face on that, I know it's halloween time but, it was frightening. It was obvious that she did not want to be there and it showed in her service and facial expressions. First, she was just standing at her register and did not greet anyone while I was there (1hr). I ALWAYS hear "Welcome To Cici's". She Took forever to answer the phone, so it rang a lot and for a long time before she would answer it and it wasn't a pleasant answer for that matter. She took my order and then walked away. No smile. No thank you or "Enjoy your meal" like I usually get from others that work there. Next...food bar/buffet was a complete mess. I usually get the salad bar and it was not efficiently stocked...I had to ask for fresh lettuce and dressing because there was none. Bacon bits and croutons were absent. I love your soup usually but, did not get any because there was none to be had...scraping the bowl. Pizza area was not fresh looking or even stocked with much pizza. I guess it's a good thing I rarely, if at all, eat pizza. Nonetheless, it should still have enough pizza there for those that do. The mood in the restaurant was just not up to its usual par. Like I mentioned earlier, I am basically a regular there, so I know the norm there and this early evening was not normal. I'm hoping it was just a trick because it definitely was not a treat! My advice to the blond girl at the register..If I was your boss, I'd fire you fast. Quit now before you get fired. If you quit, you might be able to get another job. If you get fired, you will be unhirable for a long while. I work HR and know how being fired looks on a potential hire. This Cicis is pretty bad, but the strip mall is terrible. There are some really nice people working here and it's pretty janky inside, but clean for the most part. The arcade is mostly broken games, the TVs are really old and have images burned into them, and the bathrooms are a huge mess. read more

wOw, Woo! I've had a Great Meal at the Gainesville CiCi's for the past couple of years. And, Then, NOW, Especially, when I found out that I could order my very "own" custom-made pizza and they will Custom Make It.. In fact, the people working there now know what I like and when I walk in they just ask me If I Want My Customary Special..! And, I just YES.! A few minutes later they bring it right to my table. ...
