Hooooo Hummmm.. - This is for Chic-Fil-A #04028 - Gainsville -…read more I always say, "Everyone is always so nice at Chick-fil-A!" Well, today I was proved wrong! Starting, the (no-greeting) drive-through attendant said, "Let's move up.... (referring to forwarding the car) - I said no problem (as he walked beside me) ... he then added - If we don't, we will get in trouble!! Oh goodness... no one should feel that way! A Simple #1 order that wasn't so simple... In the drive-up window, they confirmed my name, handed me the order, and I asked, "Are there 2 Chick-fil-A sauces & one BBQ in there?" She didn't even look; she said, "Yes!" So I decided to look anyway... Nope, there were the two CFA sauces; so I asked for one BBQ, she (with a smirk) handed me one. Then, I noticed there were only two napkins in the bag (everyone knows you need one or two napkins JUST to deal with opening the condiment containers!), I asked her for some extra napkins.... she handed me TWO... (Only two?) I giggled and asked. "Is there a shortage of napkins?"!! She didn't know what to say! I drove away. There was no way I wanted to have a conversation about napkins! THEN ... I opened my bag... I wanted (& ordered) extra pickles... didn't get them! There were only a few waffle fries, as one large one was blocking the container (which had never happened before), and they were VERY greasy (time to change My drink... well, it was supposed to be a CB Lemonade, but they gave me a CB Sprite instead. I don't drink sodas! First, it's a terrible location to maneuver in/out of, and it's the LEAST friendly location I have EVER experienced! Take care of your employees, and they will take care of your customers... and the gratitude will flow in a circle.

The floor was clean as were all of the tables, looking like there are some people who care here. The young man at the counter took my order, assured me it wouldn't take long and before the receipt had printed, another clerk had handed me the custard with a lid and spoon. Fabulous. Mrs. K. really likes frozen custard and has a hierarchy of favorites. Freddy's is right up there near the top and their consistency is one reason why. This is light, firm and has a great chocolate flavor to it. It sticks to the spoon and doesn't melt quickly. Delicious and it doesn't need mix-ins as a substitute for low quality. This is the good stuff! [Review 415 of 2026 - 724 in Texas - 25598 overall]

Ordered chili cheese hotdog, light on the chili with cheese, extra mustard and onions. Received hot dog with no onions no cheese light chili. Light mustard. Asked for onions... lady was adamant she couldn't take the hotdog back to put onions on it. Instead gave me onions on the side. My sisters hamburger was no cheese, lettuce and extra pickle with mayo. Had to request extra mayo. Bun was stale and crackly. Worse hamburger ever. She literally stated she wished we had gone to McDonalds. Received no napkins and had to ask for them. $16.00 Freddie's has gone down hill. Way down hill.

After losing every last dollar I had at WinStar World Casino -- and I mean every. single. dollar --…read moreall I wanted, all I needed, was the warm embrace of a good ole Whataburger. No fancy meal, no five-star consolation prize. Just a thick, juicy burger and some crispy fries to remind me that life still has something to offer. Something to hold onto. A reason to keep going. I drove through the night, broken but hopeful, clinging to that orange-and-white beacon of salvation like a man lost at sea clinging to a life raft. The golden arches couldn't save me. Sonic wasn't going to cut it. Dairy Queen? Don't insult me. Only Whataburger -- open 24 hours, 7 days a week, a promise carved in stone and written in the hearts of Texans everywhere -- could fill the void that the Evil Black Jack Dealer left behind. That man looked me dead in the eyes and busted me on a 19. A 19! And he didn't even flinch. But I forgave him. Because I had Whataburger to look forward to. I could already taste it. The perfectly toasted five-inch bun. The mustard. The big, bold beef patty that slaps you back to life and says "hey, it's going to be okay, buddy." I had already mentally ordered the Whataburger #1 with cheese, large fries, and a sweet tea so sweet it could heal emotional wounds. This was my plan. This was my salvation. And what do I find when I walk up to that counter? A shift lead -- cool as a cucumber, completely unbothered by my suffering, not a care in the world -- telling me that THIS Whataburger, THIS supposed 24/7 establishment, is closing for the night. I'm sorry... CLOSING? For the NIGHT? At a 24/7 Whataburger?? I stood there in the parking lot for a moment, just a man alone under the vast Texas sky, the neon sign flickering above me like even it was ashamed of what just happened. I had driven past perfectly good gas station food for THIS. I lost my money at the casino. I kept my faith in Whataburger and God. And somehow, someway, I still ended up with nothing -- except for God, who at this point is doing a lot of heavy lifting. This is not the Texas I was raised to believe in. And let me say this for the record: I believe this Whataburger is a FRAUD. A phony. A wolf in orange-and-white clothing. Because every tried, tested, and true Whataburger -- every REAL Whataburger, built on tradition and the tears of winners and losers alike -- is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, specifically for people like me. The losers. The broken. The ones who just need a burger at 2am and ask no further questions. We deserve better. I deserve better. And frankly, so does Texas.

It's a special for $7.00 and is unquestionably unique and different. Tequila and coconut cream definitely makes it work. The taste is odd, but in a good way. Ambiance: 4.5 STARS It's a a fun vibe and energy feel. I like the cozy country atmosphere and concept. The decor is cool and shows off Toby Keith's love for music. It's comfortable and clean plus the large booths are nice. Service: 4 STARS My waitress was friendly, helpful and pleasant. She was attentive and polite. Food: 3.75 STARS I tried multiple items and here is the breakdown The cheesesteak is good and well seasoned. The meat is tender and it's loaded with onions and green peppers. When you add the A1 steak sauce it's a tasty bite. The bun could be a bit better though. The Mac & Cheese is a NO. It's like elementary school cafeteria food. Looks cheesy and good, but the flavor is not there. The shrimp cargo appetizer is sautéed in garlic butter, smothered in Havarti cheese, with cajun flavors. It's not bad, but it's decent. The shrimp are a good size. However, it's not for me it's missing something. Baked Potato is huge and filled with butter! The ribs are tender and taste better than they look. The BBQ sauce is nice I enjoyed the flavor. Overall it was a funky good time and experience. I left happy, full and satisfied!

I decided on the early bird plate that comes with two meats. I wanted to try the ribs and asked the waitress what she would recommend. She was very honest and I decided on the chicken breast. We got another plate with the chicken and the pulled pork. The ribs are real good, a nice rub and smoked just enough. As another reviewer stated the meat doesn't fall off the bone but comes off easily. Definitely good taste and not dry. The chicken is smoked well and moist. Not dry at all. The pulled pork was good but probably liked the chicken and ribs better. The beans are good, they have some chopped brisket in them and the regular bbq sauce that gives them a bit of a sweet taste. There are three types of bbq sauce, regular a slight sweet taste, spicy the heat builds on you and a Carolina sauce that has the mustard taste. I liked the early bird plate because it left me room for a fried pie. We got apple and peach. As much as I like apple I think the peach was better. Enjoyed the service and food. I would come back.
