Recently went for a pedicure. The salon is very cute, comfortable and welcoming. The customer service was top notch. The pedicure was fine . I prefer a longer exfoliation scrub and massage portion with a stronger hand. It seemed like the cheapest pedicure you can get at an Asian salon, so quick and fine . This place however is not cheap . Even if money was of no concern at all , I'd rather go to a not as nice salon but get a firm handed longer exfoliation and massage . I wouldn't suggest this salon to anyone The pedicurist was professional and pleasant It is my opinion, you are paying for the Appearance of this place . When I was checking out , the owner? Or receptionists Said something to the effect of " will this be 20 percent " When I asked if I could leave a tip . I just thought it was yucky feeling . There was certainly nothing wrong with the salon Just not worth the cost , in my opinion There was no need to speak to some .It was not a complaint but , more of a review . Price wasn't the concern , the service didn't match up to the price in some ways ... well the actual nail service . It was nice but , nothing great. Also Yelp is a review platform not a platform for owners to attempt to bully people out of their experience/review. People can go to the salon for themselves. Arguing with patrons is tacky much like heavily suggesting clients give 20 percent. I gave 30 which is standard . But some of what you said was true , not all spas are for everyone. She has a genyle touch (important when dealing with the face) and is quite thorough!! I normally don't fill-in my brows, however after a previous mess-up by another person they needed it. I had a spa package and arrived at 10:30, leaving around 4ish. The body and facial massages were great, but my last treatments, the manicure and pedicure, were delayed. After waiting for at least 35 minutes, I approached the counter. The receptionist nonchalantly responded, 'Let me check for you,' and after another 5 minutes, she finally acknowledged me. Despite no one else waiting, I still had to wait for the technician. My main issue is the lack of communication and apology from the receptionist. This experience left me feeling ignored and unvalued as a customer. As the owner, I urge you to address such incidents directly. First I'd like to say that everyone was phenomenal! I took my mom here for her birthday, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I also enjoyed because, though I was not having any services done for myself, I was treated like I was! From the moment we walked though the door, the receptionist greeted us kindly. They offered snacks and water/tea and even offered my some warm towels for my feet. The whole environment was so serene and grounds were beautifully kept, both inside and outside. As I was waiting on my mom, the owner and another worker frequently came to check on me and offered refreshments, which showed how much they cared. My mom had great things to say about the massage that she had. This is the best spa i've ever been to. And I don't say that lightly. My friends and I threw a spa day for the last of us turning 30. From calling to making the appointments to the end of the spa day, everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations! Chrissy (who is one of the sweetest humans on this planet) has created the most gorgeous and serene piece of heaven. The spa is airy, pretty, soothing, clean, relaxing, smells INCREDIBLE, I could go on and on. When I arrived with one of my friends we went in to speak to the women at the front desk as we had packed a little party in the car as they informed us of their beautiful patio and that we could bring food and drinks. They welcomed us immediately and even offered to help us unpack the car which was so unnecessary. We set up camp in the beautiful patio in the back. The patio is clean with turf, super comfortable furniture, big umbrellas and a soothing fountain, see pics! They let us make ourselves feel right at home and were constantly in and out asking if we needed anything. They let us lounge out there all day while they called us back one by one for our services. It was THE perfect day! The service rooms are spotless and beautiful. The facial beds are so damn comfortable and the decor is so relaxing and soft. I was lucky enough to have Chrissy, the owner, do my facial and it was the best i've ever had. She took such amazing care of my skin as well as massaged my head, neck, arms, and legs. I am so grateful that she did as I have found my new go to spa in Tampa! I received a hydrating facial by Niccell and cannot recommend her enough. Truly, my only stress throughout the entire time was, "How can I update my review to express the amazing treatment I am receiving?!" The experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. There was so much attention to detail: a beautifully serene establishment, warm towels for my feet and hot tea upon arrival, a shoulder, neck, arm and foot massage incorporated into the facial, she even trimmed my eyebrows and waxed my nose hairs, and the extraction process wasn't as painful as some pore cleansings I have had in the past. Niccell was extremely thorough and explained each step without disrupting the relaxing setting. This was, hands down, the best facial treatment I have ever received and I will be telling anyone who will listen to do themselves a favor and go get a facial at Cielo Day Spa. The most beautiful spa in South Tampa. Im in the middle of wedding planning and wanted to be pampered so I decided to book a 60 min Swedish with Tatiana. She was absolutely terrific, fantastic technique, personable, and professional. The details throughout my service were divine: upon arrival, Tatiana gave me a cup of tea and some danish butter cookies (brought me back to my childhood), a peeled tangerine, and fruit infused water. She wrapped my feet in a hot towel and it literally set the tone for the entirety of my service. It was literally so perfect: the sheets are the softest cotton I've ever felt, the decor is drop dead gorgeous, the spa smelled amazing, at checkout I was given more water and some chocolate...I didn't want to get off the table, I didnt want to leave. You know the feeling, when you're beyond satisfied? I havent felt that in so long. It was euphoric. I was blown away. What I loved most about Cielo Spa is how cozy it felt. The second I stepped into Cielo from Lisa at the front desk, to the smiling faces of the staff, to Tatiana, I felt extremely taken care of. If you're looking for a Tampa spa that is a one stop shop, look no further. I went to Cielo Spa at the recommendation of a friend to get a facial. This was probably one of my better decisions this week. This elegant spa is located in South Tampa and can be a little hidden if you are looking for it. I accidentally passed the spa and went the wrong way into their parking lot so just know to slow down when you're on Azeele! I pulled in and was already impressed with the spa's smart design and interior. The receptionist was so kind and quickly looked up my appointment time and I was escorted to a waiting area. First class service is what to expect from Cielo upon entering and leaving. When I got to the waiting area I was offered a beverage and naturally settled on the champagne. They also had a fresh water station and other options. I saw on the luxurious couch and my esthetician, Megan wrapped my feet in a warm towel while I relaxed. After she set up my room, I was escorted back to the space that was calming, inviting, and sterile-y (if that's a word) clean. It was incredible. There was soft spa music playing in the background and the bed was heated for comfort. I changed into the towel they gave me and settled in for the best facial of my life. I appreciated that Megan took the time to describe the treatments and products along the way. This facial was more extensive and provided additional services I wasn't even expecting. The products smelled amazing and made my skin feel incredible. Although their services may seem pricey you are paying for excellent service and quality. I had about a two hour break in between my services and they were happy to provide me with a soft robe, hot tea, snacks, and a comfy couch to sit on while I waited. Each time a different employee walked by me they always asked if I needed anything. An incredible 60 minute massage with Nicole was after, she was gentle with the perfect amount of pressure. I had heard good things about Cielo, but they honestly didn't even compare to my experiences at the spa. I've been during pre and post-COVID and they haven't missed a beat. When you arrive they offer you a beverage and put a warm towel around your feet to relax you - a warm towel people. The pampering just begins there. You must see Meg for your brows and lashes; my blonde lashes and eyebrows were transformed! I'd also recommend her for facials- every part of your body relaxes and my skin glowed after for days.
