Buildings are a lot like people. Some are tall, others are small. There are wide ones/ skinny ones / fancy ones /plain one/ old & new. The Cienfugo Building in Historic Old Sacramento is a simple 2 story brick building built sometime after the devastation fire of 1852. The building was reconstructed as part of the revitalization of Old Sacramento in the 1970's).
I was able to find an Old 1907 Sacramento Union advertisement of the "Sacramento Cracker Company" selling chicken feed at this particular location at 1119 2nd Street. They also made crackers / biscuits & cakes
and were also wholesalers in crockery.
The California State Military Museum had occupied this location for many years. Unfortunately the museum is no longer at this location. The building is currently vacant As always thanks for reading !
