Imagine three years ago you had BCBS health insurance and were on a amazing infusion for your arthritis, gut issues, and psoriasis. It had made you feel like a person again. You go move and go about your day. Then your husbands billion dollar company wants to use CIGNA. WORT MISTAKE THEY HAVE MADE. They completely took me off my infusion and would not cover it. They made me get on a NEW MEDICATION for a kick back i am sure, because we all know it still happens despite it being illegal. Cigna - My review from 4 years ago with accredo - Life Insurance Near Me - Chattanooga, Tennessee

Horrible bureaucratic organization. They submitted a claim to their own pharmacy and billed to my secondary insurance only. Then sent me a bill for monies they should have collected from my primary insurance company. I'm paying them $888.00 a month so I can do their paperwork. Now I have to pay them $400.00 for a mistake on their end and seek reimbursement from my primary insurance. Good thing I can float 400 between insurance companies. This seems unethical. I feel bad for seniors who have to deal with this company. The customer service people were awesome and wonderful. But this is not a customer service company. It's a billing company. They botched the billing and blaming the customer. This brings up a medical term "Gas Lighting". Do not be tricked in to their home delivery. They outsource to a very invasive system. I had to get an invoice adjusted after they sent meds by billing only themselves (Cigna) as my primary insurance. I spent an hour and 10 minutes on the phone being transferred 5 times. I had to talk to Cigna, Cigna Pharmacy Order, Cigna BIling , Accredo, Accredo Billing and back to Cigna all during the same call on the same invoice. Do your self a favor and fill your prescriptions locally from a non-profit pharmacy. This place is a dumpster fire. Express Scripts / Cigna mentioned by murder. This should be a zero stars. The home delivery pharmacy is very inefficient. When they make an error (which happens often) they communicate via mail so it takes 9-10 days; then trying to get it fixed, takes 2 hours on the phone. They finally agree is an error on their part, they expedite your order, only that their process takes 5 days. 3 weeks after my order I get my meds, so much for planning ahead, I ran out of meds 6 days before receiving them, and they didn't about the status of my health. read more

I have Cigna HealthSpring Part D pharmacy coverage and absolutely love it. The company is easy to reach and get a human on the phone quickly. They have assisted me in getting the best prices on my medications. I have been with company for 6 years now and can not say enough about how well they have treated me. If it were not for Cigna HealthSpring and their most recent attention to an issue I had (and resolving it quickly, efficiently and to my benefit), I fear I would not be walking right now. This is likely the main office listed as a PO Box with a different number on my Cigna card. While the facility I went to is clean and nice--administration wise they don't even deserve one star. I called before going to the ER to ensure I would be in network with Cigna (as they were not listed online most anyplace). Fast forward, four months of reminders and repeals, and I was not and am not fully covered at their facility until December, 2017. I also confirmed in at check in that Cigna was in network and would be fully covered. After nine interactions and four months, credit calls, etc. as of today my Cigna has not paid the amount the are supposed to on my ER Claim. There call backs aren't reliable and they provide different information each time, other then "this takes a long time". Four months plus on payment ---not acceptable. Terrible claims service. I have had many different health insurances in my forty some years and Cigna is by far, the very worse on payment and billings. Avoid if you can. read more
