While the doctor was nice, she didn't do an EKG on me after I had told her I didn't have a physical in over 5 years and I'm over 40. I'm not sure that this is common. It's also nearly impossible to communicate with the office itself. I use the patient portal and several business days pass without anyone answering me. The doctor apparently replied to my message and I never received a notification from the portal itself. If the nurse hadn't called me, I would've never known. I'm going to give them one more chance, otherwise I'm moving practices. Office experience was a D- and quality of care is lukewarm C+.

I was at the office for an hour and a half, but only twenty minutes of that time was spent seeing a doctor or a nurse. The remainder was spent waiting to be seen by anyone. The office staff are also bad-mannered and slow to help. If you can find another doctors office to go to, I'd recommend it.

But once I needed moral support, understanding, and gentle care, forget it. She is condescending, old fashioned to the point of paranoia, as in, not open to any suggestions or what you see your needs are, narrow-minded and in the end it she was being I felt really rude, to me. Awfully uncomfortable. I am NEVER EVER going back. I prefer to suffer anxiety occasionally than to be in front of someone with such little feelings for us the patients. We are not a number, we are a person with feelings. I understand that the world is full of drug problems, but some of us are just regular people, who need occasional help, for occasional general anxiety. I will go back to homeopathic medicines before I am encountered one more time but the ruthlessness and coldness of some Western medicine doctors. I anyone knows a good, nice, caring doctor please let me know. (Oh, and by the way, I have been going to this office for more than 19 years, and because of COVID I didn't go back in 3 years, I don't have insurance and they charged $290 because they said "I was a new patient" - very frustrating. I said what about COVID? We were all on lock down, and they said, that does not count..) Not very nice. At all.

The receptionist blamed me, was condescending and rude, and insisted on fighting instead of just saying sorry for the inconvenience. Horrible customer service, especially for a new customer that was recommended to him by an existing patient. Then she called me back again to explain what happened, and I asked her if I could call her back since I was on the phone with my doctor. She didn't care and continued to keep talking twice because her time was more important than mine. I called her back only to be blamed yet again, and then received the following email today. I spoke with the doctor about our telephone conversation on Monday, September 21, 2020 and he feels that it is best not to see you as a patient in this office. We have cancelled your appointment and refunded your $50.00 deposit. The doctor doesn't even know my side of the story but cancelled this appt regardless. I also called to clarify these multiple appts I had in my calendar, and no one called me back in several days. It's a shame his receptionist treats patients with major health issues like this instead of treating them with compassion. I will definitely let my wellness practitioner know who recommended him highly to me about this horrible experience.

Visit this doctor at your own peril!!!…read more Took my grandson to see Dr. O'Regan for a high fever. The doctor diagnosed the fever as 'something to not worry about.' After another few visits of being told that there was nothing to worry about, I took my grandson to a different practice. The doctor there said that a high fever is an indication for Lyme disease. Especially in Connecticut. Turns out this was the case. Now he is being treated. Early treatment in Lyme disease is essential. If it turns out that my grandson is not cured I am going after Dr. O'Reagan.

I know, Mom), and ended up having to come here on the Monday of a holiday weekend because my PCP was closed. I was prepared for the typical Urgent Care Nightmare experience of a packed waiting room of screaming, sick babies, and adults acting like screaming, sick babies. FAR FROM IT! It was easy, clean, not busy, was able to see Christine, a Physician's Assistant, who was wonderful and lovely and all of the positive adjectives. I had a prescription sent to CVS that was ready by the time I got there, they took my insurance with no issue, and door-to-door, I was in and out in 35 minutes. I removed one star because, I had made an online appointment for 1:45, the first available. I arrived at 1 and the front desk gal told me I had to wait until the 1:15 and the 1:30 arrived to be seen. Again, I was the only one in the waiting room and those two people hasn't even arrived yet. So I sat there, alone amongst the free bottles of water and snacks (an incredibly kind touch) on my own for 10 minutes before they called me back. Otherwise, 10/10. Antibiotics started working immediately and I felt considerably better the next morning. Moral of the story: Don't let a cold turn into a raging sinus infection and Pneumonia but, if you are a dummy like me and you do, this place is clutch.

It was frustrating that they were also writing notes while they were giving you the exercises. I understand how the medical field has changed, focus on productivity. There were also issues with the billing. They did not tell me that the insurance, from a car accident, had runout before it was done, leaving a large balance. The bills were much higher because it was from the car accident than other regular medical insurance. It was very frustrating how quickly they used it up and not letting me know. I was left to deal with the company and issues with the billing and way the billing office handled the situation. They took advantage of the insurance, and I got less treatment and a balance to pay.

I "pop in" often, always seeing residents engaged in activities, or relaxing in front the of fireplace (electric, of course), or sitting together in the dining room. The Compass Care facility is bright, modern, beautifully furnished, and full of natural light. Unlike others I toured, there no dark hallways or corners with residents slumped on sofas and chairs with no supervision. I cannot imagine a better place for these very special loved ones. I am an extremely demanding person, especially when it come to family, aren't we all, and Ridgefield Station is tops in my book.
