New location! Very cozy restaurant with a great bar. The drinks were incredibly fresh and flavorful. I love love loved the pineapple margarita and the watermelon margarita. I don't know which one I loved more. The chips were crispy and the salsa had the perfect consistency and kick. The queso was thick and rich and had some fresh spinach mixed in. I had a combination meal with a tamale taquitos and it came with rice and beans. They do serve large 20 oz margaritas and they have so many different flavors to try. Great food and even better service! We ordered the chicken and pineapple quesadilla along with two tacos, beans, and rice--everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive, always refilling our drinks. We have a baby who's learning to eat, so we bring our own portable high chair and always clean up afterward. While we were cleaning the floor, the staff came over and told us not to worry--they'd take care of it. They even interacted with our messy, bean-and-rice-covered baby which made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Very reasonably priced, great atmosphere, and genuinely kind people. This is our local goto for Mexican cuisine. Upon entering you feel as though you are family. Everyone is friendly and you can tell they want to be there and enjoy what they are doing. We ordered the Enchilada Trio and Fajita Chicken Enchiladas w/rice and beans. Service was good but the food was nothing short of fantastic! Every item had a flavor that was absolutely wonderful. Chips were warm, fresh and crunchy but not hard. Salsa was mild, the flavor was great and it wasn't drippy. Chicken in the enchiladas looked like it was diced and marinated - excellent taste and tender texture. Rice and black beans were well above average also. We decided to meet our son here for lunch. It wasn't very busy. We were seated right away. The tile floor was very slippery. It felt like an oily coating on the floor. I asked the waiter about it he claimed to not notice. The service was extremely slow. The wait time for our meal was longer than anticipated. I ordered the delicioso platter. The tortillas for the two tacos were very small. The tortillas were stacked together with a small spoon full of dried out meat . The flautas were maybe 2 inches long. They were small and dried out. Looked like they were Sam's club or Walmart freezer. The tamale was tasteless. My wife and son shared a cilantros special fajitas. The meat was dried out. The beef was rubbery . The portion size seemed to be much smaller than in the past. Overall the food was poor and the service was poor. We do not plan on returning. Very disappointing read more

When you have been ill for two weeks with the VIRUS and all you want is a cheese enchilada and a side of rice, you hop online to find a place that is relatively close to place an order. I am not impressed. The enchilada is cold and there was no rice although we were charged $4.49 for the it. Highly disappointed in Cilantro's. First impressions on opening our takeout boxes was that our food looked pretty good (except the salad). Presentation was at least 4 stars. After sitting down to dig in, things went downhill. Let's start positive, the hubs said the fajitas were just as good as sit-in. However, the quesadillas were soggy and lacked some seasoning and the amount of cheese we are used to. The salad just was not good. It was spicy (which was not stated) and because they packed it with the hot chicken and vegetables on top, the lettuce was soggy and limp. Also, the salad was completely soaked. Due to being hungry, and because I'm trying to eat better, I ate the salad anyway. The next time I go Cilantros will only be when we can sit down and get the normal service that we are used to. Delivery definitely lessened my opinion on the restaurant and left me serious doubts as to whether they can really do delivery/takeout service. I hate to be the person to say don't go there based off of one delivery service, so, I always recommend trying it yourself and seeing what happens. My fiancé and I were craving Mexican and wanted to try someplace new. I will be honest, Cilantro's was not our first choice. We ended up here after another local restaurant had a 30 minute wait. Man, am so glad we decided to go here instead. We started off with drinks and the veggie cheese dip. It has spinach mixed in with the cheese and it's full of flavor. It's not bland like a lot of similar white cheese dips. The free salsa was also top notch. We wanted to take some home. I'm not a big margarita drinker, but I was jealous of my fiancés strawberry margarita with real strawberries blended smoothly with ice. I am definitely ordering one next time. The meals were huge and my Tomatillo Cream Enchiladas were loaded with creamy flavor, grilled chicken and blended perfectly with the rice. I tried a little of my the regular chicken enchilada and the pulled chicken was bursting with flavor and it melted in your mouth. To top it all off the service was phenomenal. Keep driving and don't even bother "giving it a try" Good is mediocre at best and way overpriced. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Pictured is the steak fajita (no rice/beans), tiny smidge of sour cream, onions (no peppers) over done steak (i think it was steak), corn ball which was disgusting and lettuce and pico. After a good supper meal last night I approved the bill I was presented but when my credit card reciept came to me it had a 2.00 "Admin Fee" added to to the total. No prior note or mentione of this additional upcharge for using my credit card instead of cash. The food was slightly bland. The cheese sauce was tasty but super thin, making it difficult to eat the chips and queso and nachos.

Really a 3+ review. First time dining at this location. Service was prompt and attentive. Drinks were refilled without having to ask Chips and salsa come out free of charge. The chips were warm and the salsa was tasty with the flavor of a lot of cilantro. Not hot, but tasty. Dinner was the special of the day which was a grilled chicken enchilada with rice and black beans, a sweet polenta and pico de gallo. Very tasty. I had the Camarones Diablo (spicy shrimp) and it was spicy, almost too hot for me personally. Might have to tell them to tone down the spice next time. Rice and retfried beans were good and the sweet polenta was a special treat. Portions were good sized Dessert was the flan with chocolate and whipped cream. It was good. Next time I will just tell them to bring me a flan without anything on it. Well worth a return trip read more

My wife and I enjoyed Cilantro's for the first time this evening, and we regret we have waited this long. It's a very pleasant atmosphere as you enter the restaurant, and we were quickly greeted and seated. Throughout our visit the service was very good. One positive indication of the meal to come was the warm corn chips and delicious salsa that arrived as we sit down. For our meals, I had the three enchiladas, and my wife off ordered the Cilantro's salad. All of our food was very delicious. I must add that it is very possible my wife received the wrong salad. When it arrived, she wondered that it did not contain as wide a variety of vegetables and she had anticipated. Then we noticed the strangely long time between her salad arriving and my meal arriving. Then she observed a member of the waitstaff approaching our table with a salad, observing she was already eating a salad, and making a quick turn to return to the kitchen. Then there was an impromptu gathering of waitstaff discussing what was happening at our table. Anyway, that potentially important glitch aside, we greatly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning for more delicious food at cilantro's. read more

The reviews for Cilantro's are pretty good here and when we first moved to Omaha, our neighbors recommended it for Mexican food. We've been a handful of times over the years and this is average Mexican food, at best. By Omaha standards, it's fine. Don't get me wrong, I love Omaha, but outside of South O and a couple of places around town, you're not going to get great Mexican food. Hey, you can't be great at everything. Steak. Awesome. Mexican food. Eh. Every city has their food strengths and weaknesses and that's OK. But, I digress. Cilantro's menu is pretty standard. We've enjoyed most everything we've tried but again, it's not going to offer much too surprising or unique. Though, the orders do come with a kind of corn masa side that is surprisingly enjoyable and unique. I've never seen that anywhere else. While I recognize that everyone has their own tastes and food preferences are very subjective, Cilantro's doesn't bring anything new to the table that would make me recommend it to someone looking for Mexican food. First time we've tried Cilantro's. We loved the food; house margaritas, not at all. We arrived at 5 on a Saturday and only had an hour to eat. They weren't busy yet and we were done by 6. We visited Cilantro's for the first time last week and I must say that it is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Omaha! The service was excellent. Our server, Claudia, was so quick. We had complimentary chips and salsa on our table within a minute of sitting down. Every time we asked for something, she brought it to our table within less than a minute. Best service! The food was SOOOOO GOOD! We got the fajita salad, house salad and the enchilada trio. The steak in the fajita salad had the most amazing marinade. So flavorful and delicious. The ranch dressing for the salad was also the BEST! My only complaint was that I wish the house salad was a bit largerand the prices are higher than most Mexican restaurants in the area. The beef enchilada was my favorite, although they were all great. The rice and beans and chips and salsa were also amazing. Overall, such a great experience. Cilantro's is an odd name for a restaurant that's primary flavor is onion. The $8 guacamole tasted solely of onion, my beef enchiladas just tasted like onion, and everything else I had was just bland. I will say the service was good, no complaints there, I just can't justify spending such high prices for subpar food again. read more

The evening of April 22nd, my husband & I ordered takeout from the Millard location. When my husband went to pick it up he noticed that the price that was on the website & what he was being charged was very different. Almost a $10 difference. We ordered 3 Burrito Loco, which was $10.25 on the menu. My husband asked why the big difference & all they said was it was a fee for take out. WHAT?? When I messaged the restaurant about the mistake, they offered a refund & such so I thought all was good. When I messaged them the received a clearly states burrito loco and a screenshot of their menu on their website with the $10.25 price. They responded with we don't owe you a refund & was trying to tell me I ordered something different then what it said on the receipt. OMG they also lied by saying they offered my husband free guacamole which they did not. They said they raised there prices a year or so ago... so why would they not change there website menu? Total hook & bait scenario, who does this?? All I wanted was a refund of the difference which was less then $10. Not a way to run a bussiness & I'm going to let everyone know that this isn't a good business. I like La Mesa better anyway. read more

Visiting family in Omaha we asked to be taken somewhere we do not have in FL. Their recommendation, Cilantro's. Based on the name alone I was pretty excited to go due to my love for the herb cilantro. I was excited to see the salad options (low carbing it) varied from traditional Mexican fare with their Cilantro's Salad. I was able to get sauteed zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, and onions atop lettuce. Mixed in with the aforementioned ingredients was sauteed chicken that had a great flavor (similar to fajita style chicken). A few tortilla strips were sprinkled on top with a nice showering of Monterrey cheese. The only thing that saddened me was not receiving my queso before the start of my meal (I judge Mexican restaurants on their queso flavor and temperature). My family members' selections looked delectable as well. The margarita my husband ordered was hefty in size, as were the beers. read more
