    Margarita flight, chips & salsa

We had a great time at Clase Codigo! The staff was friendly and attentive. The margaritas were good but not as strong as what we were looking for. The food was excellent. We also did the tableside guacamole. Definitely a pricy date night. I think a happy hour option would be great for this place!

We found our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Omaha here! They start off with service from a fresh guacamole cart to make table side guacamole, so good everyone should try it! They have island music playing in the background & big screen TVs if you want to watch sports. We ordered a couple margaritas and split shrimp taco entrée. There are a lot of different entree choices to go back for.

Clase Codigo is such a great addition to the Omaha area! Authentic Mexican food, combined with refreshing drinks and a lively atmosphere, makes this a perfect spot for a night out. If you plan to go on a weekend, expect a wait even if you call ahead. Once you're seated though, expect excellent service from the staff. You get complimentary chips and salsa dips, and can add on fresh guacamole or any other appetizer you like. For dinner; I tried the combination burrito and my wife had the pineapple stuffed tacos. This burrito was huge! Full of steak, chicken and shrimp, this was definitely enough for two. I'd absolutely recommend Clase Codigo for a great Mexican meal!

Recently came for lunch. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The complimentary chips and dips were put down immediately as we were sitting. The 3 dips were beans with chorizo in them, salsa and zesty white dip. All 3 were good. I had the carnitas tocos. They were overflowing with crispy , juicy, tender carnitas. The chile de Arbol style salsa with the tacos was excellent. Most definitely will be back.

Margaritas the size of your head! We really enjoyed our dinner here. It was super busy on a Saturday night but well worth the wait! Everyone enjoyed their meals. The guacamole was delicious and they make it right at your table. The chef prepares it to your liking with optional ingredients, so it's just how you like it! He said he makes 150 orders every Saturday! The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, you wouldn't know it's an old Applebees restaurant unless you knew it was there before. The manager came around to our table and was very nice. I learned that the pork belly was new to the menu just yesterday and it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!

I can see now why this place is always packed, the food is amazing and very quick. The restaurant style is very contemporary, with the white and black, very minimalist, but it felt comfortable. When you sit down they bring you a flight of dips and chips. Not exactly sure if it was beans with meat but it was good. The middle one was salsa and didn't have a big kick but it had a slight kick. The dip was almost like a street corn dip. All of them were very good, and the chips were fresh. We ordered the house margarita and it was delicious! It had good flavor and you could taste the tequila. Would definitely recommend. Cheese dip had a good flavor the spice was just right, not over powering and lingered after the bite which was nice. I had the supreme burrito with ground beef. The toppings were fresh and gave it a refreshing flavor. I loved the rice, I would go there just for that. I know that's weird but it was really good. My wife ordered the chimichangas with ground beef, and that was my favorite. I would order that the next time I go because it was so fresh and hot when it came out. I can see why there's always a line to get in this place. It was some of the best Mexican food I have had an a very long time.

A great first experience! The chips were a good texture and having three options of salsa was unexpected. All were different and really good. FYI, only first basket of chips are free. The table guacamole guy was at our table before we ordered our margaritas! Was fresh and really good. The margaritas were tasty and had the right level of lime flavor and tequila. The shrimp tacos were packed with shrimp. FYI they come with a couple of sauces, I caught on but not the second. Wife cannot have and they even though my mistake, they remade for her. That was a nice touch. Place was busy and had a lively atmosphere...will be back to try other items. Also, no happy hour...

We were anxious to try this New Mexican hot spot. The parking lot was packed but we managed to find two spots at the bar right away The atmosphere is inviting, warm, not too loud, very comfortable. The service? Spot on. Happy employees. I barely sat down when someone placed complimentary chips and three dips right in front of us. There was regular salsa, bean dip with (I think) Chorizo, and some sort of mayo-sour cream combo. All was pretty good and fresh, though the mayo thing isn't our thing. Here's the first problem. The house margarita was watery. We really found that shocking. People seated next to us had the same experience. The menu has plenty to choose from. My latest "go to" dish is Chili relleno even though ordering it out is usually more disappointing than not. This was disappointing. It was soggy and swimming in goop. I just don't understand why it is ever served that way. Relleno is so much better when served crispy. I'm certain there was a pepper in there somewhere. My specific order was La Uno, which also comes with beef enchilada, rice, and beans. They serve a lot in your plate here. It was more than enough for one meal so I took the rest home. This made for good leftovers. My dining partner ordered La Dos, which is beef burrito and chicken enchilada. We were really looking forward to this. Everything was right until it came to the food and drinks. It was simply not overwhelming. I'll give it four stars for potential and impressive service.

Margarita flight - huckleberry, mango, skinny and pineapple jalapeño
    Kevin W.

Wow this place was busy and for a good reason. Everything we had was delicious! The margarita flight was a great way to try the different options they have, the pineapple jalapeño was my favorite. I saw the full margaritas at other tables and they were HUGE. They bring you complimentary chips and dips when you sit down. I really enjoyed the bean dip and the crema. We also go the queso, which was smooth and delicious. For entrees we got the Laredo Grill and the Al Carbon Enchiladas. The Laredo grill was pilled high with protein (chicken, steak and shrimp), peppers and onions with a cheesy rice deliciousness underneath. I loved how all of the flavors melded together. The enchiladas were amazing with grilled ribeye steak topped with queso and came with rice and beans. The portions are also huge. Highly recommend trying this place. Be prepared to wait unless you arrive earlier in the evening (5pm) or late (8pm). We'll be back to try more things and have a couple of their huge margaritas!

Honestly had a good experience my first time here. I love how they have 3 complimentary dips to start off. Can't find that anywhere else. Big place with a slightly more upscale vibe. Service was decent. Our waiter was very nice. I would like to go back and try some other things but really enjoyed my birria tacos

    California Burrito
    Jeff W.

Overall the restaurant has a very good vibe with a friendly staff. They are quick to serve you and knowledgeable of the menu. Leaving the 4/5 as my California burrito was okay. The potatoes within the burrito were cut in very large chunks making it difficult to eat. Otherwise I am excited to return and try something else on the menu.

    Piña Colada
    Katie N.

I stopped in with a group to celebrate a friend. Honestly the first thing I noticed was how LOUD this place is. They desperately need some infrastructure to help tame the noise. The dip trip was...interesting? One was a basic salsa, one that I thought was cheese was actually something that almost tasted like ranch dressing, and the last one was a bean dip. The chips were nothing to write home about. I had two drinks while I was here, and I will say they were both phenomenal. The mango Marg and piña colada were not only large, but also strong and super delicious. We all really enjoyed our drinks, and I would definitely return for a happy hour. For dinner, I ordered a chimichanga. This was nothing special, and I would say I would not order it again. I do have to mention that our server was not particularly friendly to the point where I would say he was rude. Very pushy to get our order in, seemed inconvenienced, and was nowhere to be seen outside of taking our orders. I would say I would return here for drinks during happy hour, but I don't know if I need to return here for dinner.

I drive by this resturant a lot and have wanted to try it and I finally got to. The place is definitely more on the modern side, hard to think it used to be an Applebee's haha. It wasn't as hispanic themed as I initially thought, most of the decor is alchohol bottles. Anyway, The food was really good. Every table gets a complimentary chips and salsa with bean sauce and ranch sauce as well. I thought it was cool that they make the guac fresh in front of you. The portions are pretty big, and my burrito was absolutely filled with heaping portions of shrimp, chicken, and steak. The fajuitas has a wonderful crisp taste seasoned well and super hot like it should be. I will admit the service was pretty mediocore in my opinion. I do not mean to diss the server, but I was more than halfway done with my food and when she finally came to check in on me. I had to ask another server for another water since she wasn't anywhere to be found, but my food came out fast and hot so I was pleased. Would most definitely come back for the food!

My real hang up with our visit was the server situation. We weren't truly adequately waited on and to be honest it was a little odd. When we were seated we were told our server would be right with us. After 11/12 minutes of just sitting there the gal had come back and asked us if our server had ever come over, which we told her he had not. She explained that she would take our order and then switch it to him later on. She grabbed us drinks, took our order, and delivered our food. Shortly after getting our food, our server came back to us while simultaneously putting on a coat saying that she was leaving and that he would be our server now. He never came back until it must've been obvious that we were looking for our check (keep in mind that our meal took a while to eat because crab is work). The funny thing was that a third server brought the check! It was a weird situation and honestly for the price of the food, service she be better. The food overall had great flavor and the portions were a good size. We tried the calamari and then for our daughter ordered the fried rice and lobster bisque. Everything was pretty good. My husband and I both got crab; I did the garlic butter and he did a spicer Cajun. He said his was great but unfortunately the corn with mine felt like it just was pulled from the fridge. I think this restaurant has great potential but they really need to brush up on service. I'm a little iffy if I would return.

I was super excited to try the ribeye fajitas. I do not know of any other place in Omaha that does ribeye fajitas. The meat was sliced thinly perfect for fajitas however, there was just very little flavor and they were surprisingly a bit dry. Almost like no seasoning at all was used. I don't think I've ever salted my fajitas, but I did this time. Luckily, there was a salt shaker on the table. It did at least give it some flavor. The onions and green peppers that came with it were cooked perfectly, but also tasteless. My dining partner didn't care for her meal much either. She just did not care for the taste of the red sauce. It reminded her a bit of barbecue sauce for some reason. I tasted it and it's not something I would've enjoyed either just personal preference on that. I'm sure others love it. The fried ravioli is an interesting texture, with breading around the dough. My friends loved this, but it was a bit chewy for me. The flavor of the marinara sauce was great. The calamari wasn't much thicker cut with very thin bread compared to anything I've tried before. This was a bit too much for me, but again, my friends liked this! Ideal for people who are looking for a nice piece of fish and some sides, and the addition of a small sauce on the side is a perfect way to elevate flavors. Also easy for those who are watching their calories. The timing of things coming out of the kitchen was not ideal for us. The drink came out from the bar maybe a minute before the salad, so it took a while. And then we only had salads for a few minutes before they brought the entrées. They've also introduced those portable POS machines that the servers carry around. I understand there are many pros for these, but honestly, I really dislike them. It makes it really awkward to figure the tip and look at the bill while the server is just standing there waiting for you. It always makes me feel rushed and super awkward. I just wish they hadn't introduced these because in my opinion, it negatively affects the guest experience. All in all some good things, so I'm not so good things, but a solid experience at the Bonefish at Regency.

It's safe to say we're not coming here again. This my husband's first time to bonefish. We went…read morewith a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. I've only been here for a Yelp event, but I really enjoyed myself. My friends had been and we were all expecting good food and great service. It started off good with appetizers and our server brought out drinks right away. We were chatting and having a good time until our entrées came out. They were all delicious except for my husband. He ordered a medium steak, but it came out rare. That was fine. They took it back, but it came back a second time a little more charred on the outside, but still RARE. By this time, everybody was about done with their food we were trying to flag down a server find a manager someone can help us. But to our dismay, we honestly couldn't find anyone for a good 20 to 30 minutes. My friend got out of her seat and walked around to find the manager. Sad to say they didn't really care. By the time the server came we let her know and she just said sorry they will remove it from the bill. My husband left last night without any dinner. He only had a few appetizers, but he was done after that. We were very dissatisfied and I don't know if it was because they were short staffed but this was very disappointing. I also wanted to mention how crowded it felt with the tables. When I first got in I went to the restroom to wash my hands and had to maze my way through the tables. When I got into the restrooms, there were chairs stacked up in the women's restroom. It was also very dirty and kind of gross. I know my husband will never want to come back, which is a bit of a bummer for me because I really like the food but oh well. The positive aspects were the rest of us ordered seafood, and that was all great. The sides now come separately and are gigantic. The greeter was friendly and seated us quickly. Despite all the negative, we still had a wonderful time with our friends.
