These guys are terrible. I had them come out to clean my gutters. I made a phone call and set it up. The individual on the phone was kind enough. He kept trying to up sell me - didn't even get a single cleaning yet. They were delayed significantly in showing up. A month past the estimate they made. They finally show up, unannounced, and offer additional services on the side. They seemed like reasonable services so I thought I'd take the guys up on it. In 15 minutes, the guys were done cleaning the gutters. So I spent $250 for 15 minutes. Not only did they not appropriately clean the gutters, they additionally left a mess, not cleaning up after themselves. They left gutter slop, tree branches, and other garbage on the lawn. The extra services? A bunch of garbage as well, doing minimal agreed upon work. I write a Google review expressing my disappointment. I ended up receiving a phone call from a lady who works for Cincy Gutter Boys who tries to bribe me to take my review down. Not only was it a shady thing to do, it was also a weak bribe. We used Cincy Gutter Boys / Ned's Home for a full gutter cleaning on our ranch home. The crew was on site for a very short time (about 15 minutes). Some leaf blowing was performed, but we did not observe any flushing of the rear downspouts. After they left, we confirmed the back downspouts were not flushed. A photo provided by the company appeared to show work only on the front of the house. We contacted them the same day. They were initially responsive and said a crew would return within 10 days to complete the job, but that never happened and we received no further communication. read more

3 months ago I called for service, they called and said someone was on the way out to preform the work- today they showed up. Company is a joke - the guys who showed up today spent 7 min doing the job. I called back and they sent two guys out to do the job correctly. While these guys were at my home 2 neighbours stopped by to say they had used these guys and they did a crap job. Five minutes later, I got another call from another neighbour on another block that said virtually the same thing. Do yourself a favour and stay far away as you can from these guys they absolutely stink the place up. Attempted service in March 26 after told them in Oct 25 we weren't interested- got halfway through when I realized were on roof. This company was supposed to come in the fall to clean our gutters. I kept getting emails that they had us on their schedule, but were delayed. They did not come until after a January snow storm that caused an ice dam and water coming in the house because the gutter was clogged with leaves. When they finally showed up after the snow had melted, the worker said he had talked to his supervisor and that the supervisor would call me. I did not get a call. I only received a bill for $400. I would like to share that after being a happy customer of Cincy Gutter boys for over five years. I will never ever use their services ever again. I will never recommend their company to anyone. Their customer service is horrible. It all started in June when I called to schedule our bi-yearly gutter cleaning. When I scheduled I asked when should I expect service, I knew the weather had been wetter than usual. I was told by next week. Needless to say I had to call three times over the course of the summer and got told a different estimate each time. On the second time I was told they have no idea why I was told next week when they are six weeks behind. I finally got my gutters cleaned in July. This I was able to overlook. I did express that communication was lacking in their department. During that cleaning they informed us we needed new gutters. So we had them give us an estimate and in the end decided to go with them for new gutters. Up till this point all cleanings in the past had been very professional and satisfactory. So they come to do our gutters. First time they text say they were coming, they came and left without doing the job. I got a text saying they were unable to do the job and to call the office. I had seen them drive off so when I got the text I immediately called the office. The office informed me due to my car being in the driveway they couldn't do the job. I explained well I'm home, no one rang my doorbell to see if I could move the car. Dispatch said they were still in the neighborhood and could try and come back. They did not come back. I called the office and was told they would be out the next day. I waited all day at 330p I called the office to see what the latest they would come. They assured me they would be out that day. They arrived with no text letting us know they were on the way. While here they accessed my neighbors gated backyard without permission from either I or my neighbor. My neighbor's dogs got loose and had to be chased down the street. None of the workers helped or apologized. One worker even parked blocking my neighbor's driveway. I contacted the company on how displeased I was and that my neighbors were furious. I spoke with Anyssa on Sept 11th, told her the situation. She agreed to speak with the neighbors and apologize and also to refund us a certain amount due to the delays. I spoke with Anyssa, Jasmon, and Hailey along with numerous other customer service personnel from the date of Service Sept 10th to Oct 17 trying to get an apology to my neighbors and a check in the mail for the refund they promised. As of today Oct 17th I still have no check. Everytime I call I am told "Oh I'm sorry, we understand. The check is being processed and will be mailed tomorrow." On Oct 1st I was told by Hailey the check was in the mail on that day, Oct 1st, and should arrive in the normal mailing time frame of 5-7 business days. Now today, Oct 17th, when I call I am told that the check was put in the mail on Oct 13th. The lack of communication in this company, and the way their workers conduct themselves on site is despicable. I in good conscience can not recommend nor ever hire this company again. read more

Won't use them again, but they've been texting and phoning me regularly with marketing junk for the past seven years. Today, I received from them a mass-mailed postcard, a marketing piece not meant for me specifically, plastered front and back with the label "PROBLEM FOUND," with this text: "WE DISCOVERED AN ISSUE AT YOUR HOME DURING A PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED SERVICE." They're offering 15% off, if I call before 5/31/25...three days from today. (1) They didn't mention any problems when they were here in 2018. (2) They "discovered this issue" in 2018 and they're just now contacting me about it? (3) This is obviously a scummy come-on aimed at rubes who aren't paying attention. A true bait and switch operation. Never used to be like that. At the end of the year, they send you an email about your auto-renewal for your annual service. My email came last Saturday - with a 40% increase in their annual price! They then ran my credit card 2 days later. Luckily they had an old card, and I caught them. After you get them on the phone to cancel or complain, they explain that they can "negotiate" your rate to last year's so you won't leave, hoping that their new charges don't get noticed. Unfortunately ongoing poor management before and after their recent sale to Ned's Home Services. They kept me waiting for a week for a cleaning, kept saying they would call me back. Never did. Eventually I called to be told they would not come to our home because we have a slate roof, which had never been a problem prior. They could have easily communicated this the first day they called. Prior scheduled cleanings were contracted for twice yearly and they were always late, I had to call to request to be on the schedule every time. Last cleaning was both late and incomplete, leading to now overflowing gutters and property damage because of it. read more

Scam marketing -- sent postcard for $20 off and then they re-added a new charge for $15 for materials, etc. also got a voicemail message that they had a video of my roof and wanted to talk to me. Why didn't the guy who was here? Knock on the door and come talk to me. Instead they require you to listen to a high high-pressure sales pitch to see whatever it is they supposedly found on your roof. Ordered a simple gutter clean. Their prices were competitive to my lawn care service. They completed the job during the day while I was at work. I come home to find the crud from the gutters all over the perimeter of my home, on my driveway, in my flower beds, & all over my front porch back deck, all deck furniture & area rug. Not to mention I just got my house painted and the overflow on the gutters from the clean is visible. Now I have to power wash my gutters, the driveway & outside area rug. May as well have done the whole thing myself at this point. With the lack of care for how they left my house, it leaves me really questioning the quality of the actual gutter cleaning itself. I had them come out in July of 2022 to install aprons to all our gutters. My receipt says "whole house" which is what we paid for. We now have water coming into the house from ice and an inspector went into the roof and you can see right through the gap where the apron should be. I've been calling for days now leaving voicemails and emails and finally heard back from someone in warranty saying that it's no longer under warranty and they'll send someone out to give an estimate. How is a job that was never even completed not under warranty? The new company was willing to keep my appointment, but they would NOT give me a weeklong service window. They wanted a window of 1 to 3 weeks. Kyle at CGB came out and told us exactly what needed to be done, gave us a very competitive quote and put us on the schedule for a few weeks later. We had painters scheduled to paint the house once the new gutter was in, and Kyle helped us to time the work out PERFECTLY. Jerome and Jeremy were the guys who rebuilt the gutter - they finished a day early and the gutter looks incredible. They were able to match the color to our paint scheme, so it didn't even need to be painted after it was installed. They were quick and communicative, their work was superb... honestly the best experience possible with a contractor. Had my gutters cleaned in March of 2020. I was not at home at the time of the cleaning so I have no idea how long it took but my guess from the result that it was not long. Later I noticed some of the gutters were overflowing. We had never had this problem before so I called the company. They only guarantee their work for 30 days and said there was nothing they could do. 30 days!! What if it doesn't rain in that time? The damage it was doing to our yard to a little bit of time for the erosion to be noticed. Our gutters had been working properly up to the point before they cleaned! I had been referred to them by neighbors, but was extremely disappointed. I had to call them back a second time to actually have them deliver on all the services that I ordered. The first guy on day 1 was slow and only worked to clean the places that were obvious, not all the places I paid to have him clean. He barely touched my garage which I paid to have added on. He "flushed it" by pointing the house at my garage gutters from the roof of my house, which is detached. The second day, 2 guys came back and I was much happier with the cleaning. Then after they left my house, I noticed a HUGE oil stain that deteriorated my blacktop driveway and left a hole when I tried to clean it off. We also had them come back out the same day to take a second look at one of the gutters that had standing water in it - turns out we have a sloping problem that needs to be fixed, so we are 1) happy to be aware of this and are 2) taking steps to address it. Disappointing. When the Gutter Boys pulled up, my wife was leaving with the kids. They must have assumed that the house was empty because I don't think they would have behaved the way they did if they had known I was there. Start to finish, they were done in less than twenty minutes. Clearly corners were cut as my gutters remained full of leaves after they left. The entire time they were working, my dogs were barking and to my utter astonishment, the workers barked back. They were getting a kick out of antagonizing the dogs. I was irritated by this at the time, but I was willing to let it slide if they did a good job cleaning the gutters. Unfortunately, the boys half-assed it. The description of the service indicated that they would clean up after themselves. They did leave a small bag of garbage in the driveway but that was less than half of what was left scattered in the yard. I have only used the Gutter Boys once, but I was quite pleased with the experience. We were planning to use another company at first, but they were delayed in responding/scheduling, and then I saw a Gutter Boys sign in a neighbor's yard and decided to give them a try. The Gutter Boys gave us simple, upfront pricing and arranged an appointment within a few days. Note: Initially I talked with them via phone, but I believe we received confirmation of date/time via text message. On the day of the appointment, two nice young men arrived promptly, dressed in company shirts, and cleaned out both our box gutters and traditional gutters, on a 3-story house and a 1-story detached garage, within roughly 30 min. I had cleaned the lower level gutters myself several months earlier, so they weren't *too* bad, but I know the upper level gutters had quite a bit of build-up that hadn't been tackled by the previous homeowners. Results could be seen immediately, in the sense that when I looked out the windows at the lower level gutters, they looked clean and clear. Then during the next storms, the upper level gutters no longer overflowed. So: straightforward results, at a reasonable price, with good pricing and service. I definitely think we'll be using the Gutter Boys again. read more
