A man named George Galliher came yesterday to give me an estimate for gutter covers. I could barely understand him, he sounded sick or high. He went up on my roof for about five minutes, came down and just tole me the cost. NOTHING about the company, what kind of covers, warranty, etc. He was very unprofessional and didn't really seem interested in "selling" me anything. I will not recommend this company to anyone. He also quoted me a price much higher than you did my neighbors who has the SAME EXACT HOUSE as mine. His reason was "price went up". Price went up $500??? They made an estimate. They came out and said the estimate called for wrong materials. They reestimated and said they can schedule me in 10 to 12 weeks.I explained they had already came out and I thought it was unfair to be put at the end of the line. I had some waterfall-like issues with my box gutters last year. A quick call to the Gutter Boys (what a name) and they were out in a day's time. The men (boys?) who showed up were quick, knew what they were doing, cleaned up their mess, and we don't have any more problems with waterfalls coming from our gutters. Have used their service once before and assumed things went well. I had the team come out again and clean the gutters and wash out the downspouts. 40 days later I noticed that I was seeing water overflow from one of the gutters, causing some damage (water seeping through and into windows). When I checked, the down spout was completely full with old mud and debris (no trees overhanging that area either, so it couldn't have been new). I called and asked if they could come out and inspect and take care of the issue. They said it was past their 30 day warranty and they would have to charge to "re do" the service. When I explained how I felt the initial service wasn't completed in the first place, they told me there was nothing they could do except send a team out and I would have to pay for another service. I have been a customer of Gutter Boys for many years and have recommended them to friends. However, after this year I will no longer be using their services. The crew was here less that 10 minutes and forgot to clean the gutters over my porch. I decided to clean them out myself for two reason; it was going to rain later that day and i was concerned the gutters would freeze overnight. I called the office to inform that I had cleaned my porch gutters and would deduct a portion of the fees for my inconvenience. I was informed by the manager that, "their policy was for me to call the office and they would reschedule another time to clean my porch". I discussed why I cleaned the gutters myself and the response was " you may not deduct any amount from your invoice and if you do we will send the deducted amount it to a collection agency"! I find this very egregious and a complete disregard for a long time loyal customer or for any customer. Why should I be forced to pay for work that was not done, in addition to the inconvenience of cleaning my own gutters? This is another story that needs to be told to all the customers of Gutter Boys.... ......I recently had Gutter Boys clean my gutters just before Thanksgiving. When the crew called to inform me they had cleaned the gutters I was concerned that they were frozen and could prevent them from finishing the job. The crew told me that earlier in the day some customers gutter were frozen, but "they used a chisel to clean them out". I wonder if the homeowners were aware that their gutters were "Chiseled out". I wonder if any damage was done to their customers gutters? Very disappointed and will not use or recommend their services again!! read more

I have been a customer of Gutter Boys for a few years now, and I have never had any issues until this past appointment. In the past I would call, say hey I need my gutters cleaned, a flush and a nail or two fixed, and you guys would bust it out in a few days. Easy. Well something has changed within Gutter Boys. I am not sure if customer service has been forgotten, or scheduling has become too big of a hassle, but I am actually shocked at this past experience. To the point where I will not be returning as a customer, and will not be able to recommend Gutter Boys to friends and family. I called earlier this month to schedule a gutter cleaning/flushing of downspouts. I also inquired about having a nail/hanger replaced and mentioned that in the past I have always paid $10 per nail/hanger. This price was confirmed by the customer service woman who took my phone call. I was told it would take approximately 20ish days to get someone out to my house, which was fine, but I gave dates on when I would be out of town and didn't want anyone coming during those dates. Of course, guess who shows up during my vacation. Gutter Boys! (Great job on listening.) And I only knew this because of the text I received/email of invoice when I was back from the beach confirming the job was DONE. (If I had been given more of a notice, like an text/email the day before, I could have had the appointment rescheduled since I was out of town.) Also, the ONE thing I wanted fixed additionally did not happen -the nail/hanger. I know this wasn't fixed because it was not on the invoice. I stressed having this fixed when calling initially to schedule this appointment too. I went back and forth with Gutter Boys (5 phone calls to be exact) while on a beach vacation - exactly what you want to do on vacation. Trying to figure out why this nail/hanger was missed, when we could get someone back out. Then I was told it would be $140 for someone to come BACK out, plus an additional $40 per nail/hanger. Now, this would be surprising to someone who already had this scheduled to happened, but then didn't...and now I am going to be charged $140 to have you come back out to do the job you didn't do? And there is the whole up-charge from $10 to $40...which again, the $10 price was CONFIRMED by the customer service woman when I initially scheduled this appointment at the beginning of the month. Eventually I spoke with a manager, who called me Friday on her lunch break. She made it VERY CLEAR that she was spending her lunch speaking to me. (Customer Service at its' finest there). She said I would be quoted the $10 per nail/hanger like I had in the past since the new price was never mentioned to me on my initial phone call to schedule the appointment, and I would not be charged the $140 service fee - which was appreciated on my end, since you know, the job was supposed to be done when the gutters were being cleaned out. She said someone would be out by the end of the week (meaning the end of the week June 24 -June 30). *Please note, this manager did explain why the price of this was being bumped up from $40 from $10. And I totally get it. A company has to make money, and you were not making money charging $10. I even told her I would have been happy to pay the $40 per nail/hanger, if I had been told that was the new price when I scheduled my appointment. But, as I was told it was still $10, and then it was not done during the appointment... you can begin to understand why I was getting a tad frustrated. Today is Friday June 29, and I still hadn't heard about an appointment being made for someone to come out, so I called Gutter Boys this morning. No one answered, so I left a message. The same customer service woman just called to tell me Gutter Boys was waiting for me to get back from vacation to have this scheduled. Weird since her manager assured me someone would be out this week to fix it. *Please note, I told both the customer service woman and her manager that I would be home from vacation on Sunday June 24th, and any day worked for me for them to come back out. Let me just say, my mind is blown on the lack of communication at Gutter Boys. Clearly my conversation with the manager was not passed along, and now I was set up to have someone come out Tuesday, July 3rd (almost an entire month after my initial call). Unfortunately that is too late. Clearly Gutter Boys is not in the business to KEEP customers. I have paid my invoice, and I will no longer be doing business with Gutter Boys. *Please note, with the exception of removing names, this is the EXACT email I have sent to Gutter Boys in regards to my experience. read more

Found Gutter Boys online and was that ever my lucky day. Noticed one of my downspouts was spraying water when it rained. Went online and received bid for Gutter Boys to clean the gutters and flush out the downspout. Was told they were-about 5-10 days out but they would send me a text the day before they arrived, no need for me to actually be home, they would email their invoice and I could pay online. Everything went as planned although I was home when they arrived. Two young men (I'm old) arrived cleaned the gutters but said the downspout was clogged up so they took it apart and got it working. Can't judge how to qualify Gutter Boys for "I'ts as good as it gets - 5 Star" ..... Since I did not get on the roof Before or After I can only assume they did their job and am happy for that. Did not shop around but happy with the price so YAY.. I am a fan and will use them again! Oh, they did leave 2 bags of the debris they cleaned out....which was proof they did clean the gutters...except they did not tell me they were leaving the debris behind....so naturally I was cautious as I opened the bags wondering WTH? I have now used them twice this year and am very pleased with the way they took care of my problems with the gutters. The first call they noticed the reason My gutters were over flowing in spots. The second call they noticed they were pulling away from the house. If they hadn't come out I would never have known why I was having continuous problems. read more

Scheduling was little difficult and they don't seem to answer their phone during business hours. They were supposed to come at 11:30 but it ended up being 6:30. However they did a very thorough job and I'm very pleased with the price as well. read more

Left gutter sludge all over my yard, house, fence, AC unit, grill cover, etc. Paid extra for a downspout flush that never happened -- it was bone dry when Cincy Gutter Boys left. Cincy Gutter Boys didn't use any hoses at all, not to clean the gutters or the mess they created. Cincy Gutter Boys left us a job to do and we're supposed to pay them? They hid behind their female customer service reps instead of refunding and making things right. They made no attempt to clean up after themselves. The sludge on the AC unit was wiped across it like they were trying to make it filthier than it already was. My vinyl fence was covered in sludge that they just walked right past and left. Apparently, Cincy Gutter Boys doesn't think anyone will notice the difference between some leaves in the yard and gooey black gutter detritus. It looks different, doesn't clean up as easily, and smells. It's a humiliating embarrassment. If you take any pride in your property at all, stay away from this place. It's Christmas week, my spouse and I work every day this week. Now someone has to find the time in the DARK, in the cold to clean up the filth that Cincy Gutter Boys left at our house, before family arrives Saturday morning for Christmas. They offered to send someone out to clean it up, but they've disrespected my property enough and if I'm not there to supervise, I'm sure they'll do another terrible job. I'm so thankful nothing ended up on my neighbor's property or I'd be cleaning next door too. One of the Cincy Gutter Boys who arrived at my home this morning was obviously in training. I am so frustrated after 2 months, 3 service calls and countless phone calls (half the time they don't answer)they finally cleaned the leaves out of our downspouts. I tried to call the owner and he never called me back! They also charged me an extra 35.00 to flush the downspouts (which obviously wasn't done)! read more

Gutter Boys contacted me to schedule a cleaning and since we had moved in the past year I asked for an estimate on our new home. Brie left me a voice mail quoting $199 for gutter cleaning with downspouts as long as we didn't have gutter guards which we don't. When I called back the VERY NEXT DAY I spoke to Kelsey who said it would cost $234 without gutter guards. When I mentioned my conversation with Brie and the voicemail she said Brie was a temp and the records indicated the price and what it cost when they came out in Dec. of 2018. We lived in the house in Dec. of 2018 and we never had Gutter Boys out. I'm unsure of their business practices and definitely think they don't keep proper records. Needless to say, I have decided to go with a different gutter cleaning business. Kelsey lacks customer service skills and I am skeptical of how they determine their prices. read more

Always on time and polite. Good service and quickly do the job. Also a good value. They used my water hose to flush the gutters and forgot to turn off the spigot which is not a big deal, and and honest mistake, but they need to make sure and do that next time in case I'm not home that day. Worst repair, service, and price I have ever had!!! The repair looks like a child did it and their billing dept has no clue what is going on. They called me multiple times to bill me but the job was not done and they had no idea of the status. I had problems for over a year with water streaming in my window frame. Over the year I wasted money and time with several contractors who were clueless as to how to fix the problem. Barry with gutter boys, who has years of experience with old houses, went up on the roof and spotted the problem within seconds. The outlet tubes that connect the box gutter to the downspouts were rusted and leaking. Gutter boys repaired the problem for a very reasonable price and all is well. We booked Gutter Boys to clean the gutters on our new house. They were easy to book via a quick email exchange. Once they've got you on their schedule, you don't need to do anything. They'll give you a service window, let you know when your work is scheduled, and then you're good to go. You don't need to be home for the work, and they'll email the invoice. The rep that took care of us, Jimmy, showed up during his scheduled time, checked in and got right to work. He finished our cleaning within an hour, let us know about some additional work that would be needed, and took care of setting that up for us on the spot. He was pleasant and polite, and their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended! read more
