Tai Chi class with John H. Parking lot is located behind the building with pay app or you can find street parking free up to two hours. I entered though the backdoor and you have to hike upstairs and go down a hallway to find the studio. Tai Chi (Tai Ji) is translated to many definitions it could mean great limit, duality, polar, with polarity revealing opposing features such as hot/cold, up/down, dry/wet, day/night related to Yin and Yang. We could go down the rabbit hole and spend an entire semester reading about Chinese folklore and Tai Chi Quan 太极拳 sometimes refer to as Shadow boxing. But the review is here at PranaTonic. John the instructor was very approachable and welcomed me and introduced all the class members. We had about 6 students in our hour long class. The class is very slow and meditative, Tai Chi focuses on the internal spirit of Qi "energy". This is not an Martial Arts class, it's more about balancing the body and mind. Couple students said they come to Tai Chi to help with arthritis, which supports my belief that energy movement jumpstarts our lymphatic system and promotes blood flow. This studio is a multi use space offering yoga, meditation, and even BJJ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The office also offers acupuncture. PranaTonic is a great find right in the heart of downtown Golden. Will be back to try more classes!

I'm a ski and snowboard instructor, so I tend to get injuries from impact, posture, and overuse. I usually see Dr. Josh Kremb, and every time I see him I can feel his work becoming even more effective. I once came in with an incredibly sharp lower back pain and he gently touched my spine and it felt like he had given me some sort of injection that ran down my spine that instantly diminished the pain, but he hadn't given me a shot or anything, he just did his magic. I also love the new location. It's an easy drive, calm neighborhood, free parking, and it's next to a lovely park that is great to go to after my visit to relax and let my session really intergrate.

My hopes were always to recover and get better but often more damage was done than was gained. Finally, my hopes are restored, I am getting better because of Dr. Lopez. I came to Peak Vitality as a last ditch effort for a chronic health condition that I've been…read moresuffering with for years. I was desperate for help, and was encouraged by the multilayered and team approach to healing offered by Dr. Dan and his staff. During the intake process, Traci, the new patient coordinator, explained to me that treatment ranges "anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars" depending on the severity and complexity of the case. This was a broad range but felt reasonable given the scope of the work. The next step was a new patient intake call with Lisa. The call was very thorough and allowed me to provide a complete overview of my health issues, which she provided to Dr. Dan who came up with three potential paths forward for testing. Option One (Most Comprehensive): $4,006 Option Two (Middle of the Road): $3,128 Option Three (Bare Minimum): 2,488 They called this "Dr. Dan's Wishlist" and needless to say, strongly encouraged me to go with option one. Despite being a bit more than I was prepared to spend, I was desperate for answers and didn't want to leave any stone unturned. I had also been told that the high end of treatment would be "a couple thousand", so I proceeded with option one and began to budget for a $6,000 total treatment cost. I consistently worked 60-70 hours weeks to set aside as much money as I could to pay for treatment. It was miserable, but I was willing to do whatever it took to get my health back. Two months later, the test results finally came in and it was time for my consultation with Dr. Dan. For the first half hour, we went over all the results, and it finally felt like I had some answers. Then at the end, it was time to go over pricing. All of the sudden, instead of the "couple hundred to a couple thousand" dollar price tag, Dr. Dan now told me I needed to pay $25,477! Over 12x the high end or "worst case scenario" of what was originally quoted for one year of treatment. I had prepared for the possibility that it might be a little more than $2,000 (fees, taxes, extra testing, etc), but over 12 times is outrageous. I told him that this was significantly out of my price range, at which point he offered three other options. A lower tier plan including four months of treatment for $8,439, a middle tier with eight months for $16,628, or a monthly subscription plan for $370 which included one monthly appointment (not with Dr. Dan), and any treatment would be an additional cost. It's easy to see how they try to rope you in with this one and then mark up treatment to get you to spend a significant amount of money. Dan was very clear that only the most expensive plan would be sufficient for me to feel better, and that none of the other plans were comprehensive or long enough, saying that they would only get me part of the way healed. He then sent me three "free" supplements, including a peptide injection, but wouldn't tell me how to use them unless I paid for one of his plans. I found this to be incredibly reckless and unsafe to administer prescription supplements without guidance. Not only is their pricing model not transparent, but they lied to me. Now I'm down $4,000 with no path forward. Dan tried to tell me that it's because my case is more complex than most, but Traci clearly told me in the intake that treatment for complex cases was $2,000. This is the only reason I felt comfortable spending $4,000 on tests. I strongly encourage anyone thinking of using this company to look elsewhere. Don't fall for it like I did. Find someone that cares more about treating their patients than they do about profiting off of desperation. If they did it to me, they can do it to you.

(Mom life) I wanted to be sure that the facility used an FDA-approved micro needling device and that the procedure would be done by an RN, not an esthetician, and Peak Vitality checked both of those highly-important boxes. The facility itself is very clean and has ample parking. The person who greeted and checked me in was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Nichole is the RN who did my treatment. She made me feel comfortable, explained a lot about the procedure before each step, and was very friendly. She also did not seem annoyed that I wanted to take pics to document the process. Her enthusiasm and professionalism made me feel at ease and were a welcomed distraction during blood draw and micro needling. The treatment itself was virtually painless. The aftercare and what to expect was explained to me in great detail and I had an overall terrific experience. I have already scheduled my next bio facial and I recommend this treatment, this facility, and this provider.
